About: Before we had kids, we would dog sit up to four dogs at a time in our home. Now that our kids are old enough and understand how to care for and respect dogs we feel comfortable bringing kid friendly and potty trained dogs into our home. We’re all excited to love on your pup! Julie homeschools our children so they are home a majority of the day. If your pup is destructive or a chewer, please bring a crate for when they have to leave the house. We intend to love and care for your dog just as we love and care for Penny. We work together as a family to ensure your pets needs are met throughout the day and night.
About: I have always had a pet in my life, and I love animals! I haven't met a dog or cat that I haven't hit it off with, and I would love the opportunity to get to know your fur baby :) My dog is definitely quirky and a bit of scaredy cat, so I know what it's like to be worried to leave your dog with someone! I have a lot of patience from my experience as a teacher, and I will make sure your fur baby feels at home! People tell me I have a calming presence, and so far it has helped with initial pet anxiety! I want to make sure you have peace of mind when you're away and that your baby has a great day :) Thank you for considering me! I am a dog mom to a chill border collie and a sassy cocker spaniel. By day, I am a romantic comedy author and a graphic designer, so my schedule is flexible and I’d love to spend some time with your fur baby/babies 🐶 My cocker spaniel would appreciate it too. lol. I want to work with you to make sure your pet is given the best possible care! I work from home so I am happy to come to you or share my home with your fur baby :) I will do everything possible so that your pet is comfortable and feels safe in their environment. Let me know what your baby enjoys and what makes them feel most at home! My dog is a bit of a scaredy cat, so I know how hard it can be with strangers and I have a lot of patience from my experience as a teacher. I love spending time with animals and haven't found a dog or cat that I haven't hit it off with yet!

About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. From the pups I grew up with to my soul dog Lacey, who has inspired this Rover journey. They are the purest creatures on this earth and taking the time to connect with each and every one that comes way, brings me so much happiness 🐾🤍 Life can be unpredictable so I’m here to make things a little easier! Whether it’s a spontaneous weekend trip or a daily walk, I’ve got you (and your best friend) covered ✔️ I am a proud & protective dog mama myself — when your pup is with me, you can trust they will be cared for as my own. I know just how important it is to feel confident when leaving a member of the family in someone else’s hands and I take that responsibility to heart 🫶🏼

“Our Chocolate Lab spent the day with Marston and his 2 pups while we explored Savanna. This is my first experience using Rover and it is intimidating to leave our sweet Charlie with someone we do not know. I read his reviews and was confident I was making the right decision. Once we met him and his dogs I knew Charlie was in good hands. Charlie ran right in to party. He sent pictures of their adventures. Charlie came home exhausted. I highly recommend Marston.”

“Fernanda was super sweet and attentive with Murphy. She was very good with communication before during and after his day care visit. Fernanda sent pictures during his stay and he was very relaxed and happy. I recommend her for your fur baby too.”

“Our pup Loki loves going to doggy daycare every week with Jennifer. He’s become so attached that he practically leaps out of the car when he sees her and forgets all about us lol!”

“Abby was great with our two Goldens. Maddie didn’t seem to be too crazy about Winston & Rosie, but Abby separated them and everything was fine. She kept me updated throughout their stay and sent lots of pictures. We felt totally at ease knowing our pups were well taken care of while we went sightseeing, etc…”

“Austin did a wonderful job watching my baby boy while I was at work. It was a long day and he made sure that he walked him enough. I’m glad my baby boy came home happy. Definitely will have Austin watch him in the future! Thanks again for your hospitality and kindness!!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and am now a proud dog mom to my Frenchie, Hendrix! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone else, and I’ll care for them just like they’re my own. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and updates throughout the day. My apartment complex is very dog friendly and has two fenced-in grass dog parks, so whether your dog loves to play or prefers a slower pace, I can make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. If you have a Frenchie or another wrinkle-faced pup, they’re in good hands! My apartment has pet stairs to all the furniture, and I always keep wrinkle wipes, wrinkle paste, nose balm, and other Frenchie essentials on hand to keep those ADORABLE squishy faces happy and healthy. For overnight boarding: My Frenchie, Hendrix, will be here too! He’s incredibly friendly and loves making new dog friends. If your pup enjoys other dogs, they’ll have a built-in playmate. If they prefer to be the only dog, overnight boarding may not be the best fit—but I’m always happy to discuss other care options!🐾🩷 I work from home, which means I have the flexibility to take breaks throughout the day to check in on your pup and give them the attention they need! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I provide consistent updates, respect the home environment, and follow any specific instructions closely to make sure their furry family member is well taken care of. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or simply giving them some love, I’m dedicated to providing the best care possible!
“Sweetest person of all time! Brianna watched our cavapoo for a couple days while we stayed at the HH National RV park. She lives very close by and was super flexible to accommodate any times I needed to extend or end early. She works from home, has a beautiful house and a sweet little dog of her own. We had one request which was not to ever leave our dog alone and Brianna was more than happy to accommodate. Will absolutely use her again when back in Beaufort, Bluffton or Hilton Head!”

As a dedicated pet sitter, I offer dog walking, overnight stays, feeding, and plenty of playtime. Since I work from home, your pets will always have companionship and care, along with a fun atmosphere that includes other friendly dogs and a lovable cat. I am always home! I work remotely and have plenty of time to hangout with the pooches. My guy gets at least one walk a day (1-2 miles) and beach trips when we can. In my home, I provide a safe, playful, environment with a large fenced in back yard and a doggy door so they can come in and out as they please. Dogs get plenty of exercise, social interaction with other dogs, and a structured routine to help them feel comfortable. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s routine as closely as possible, providing feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I respect each pet’s unique personality and needs, whether it’s giving extra care to an anxious dog or ensuring a cat has a quiet and familiar environment. My goal is to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved, whether they’re in my home or theirs.

“Emily took the time to find out about Ivy and her needs and habits. She sent lots of photos and even took her on a little walk. Most importantly, I knew I was leaving her with a caring dog lover. Would 100% use again!”

“Madison and her husband were excellent. We have a large coonhound and he can be a handful at times. They took excellent care of him and when they dropped him off, he cried at the door watching Stephen leave. I would highly recommend them to care for you dog.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 299 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Levy. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Levy commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 299 sitters in Levy, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
