“Tracy was an excellent choice. He took great care of our kittens, took pictures, and was always available should we have any questions. We would happily work with Tracy in the future and would highly recommend him.”

“Provides excellent care! Amazing with our two kitties and so caring. Very attentive and updated us so much! I really appreciated her updates on how much my older cat was eating (he doesn’t eat a whole lot in his old age) and loved the pictures! Will definitely be using her again!”

“Alexis was amazing & I will absolutely be using again! She did 1 hour drop-in visits for my 2 kitties for 8 days & went above & beyond my expectations. This was the first time I’ve ever had to leave them for an extended period of time, so it was also the first time I’ve had to hire someone to help take care of them, so I was pretty nervous. She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with them & myself, stayed in constant communication while I was gone, sent me lots of pictures & updates, & most impressive- got one of my babies to be snuggly & loving with her which is incredible considering their normal disposition around new people (hiding be pretty hissy/unfriendly). That alone let me know just how amazing she is with animals! When I came home their litter boxes were clean, their food & water were full, & they were both perfect condition. I’m so grateful for Alexis & how well she took care of my kitties while I was gone. I knew they were safe & well cared for which made being away from them 1,000 times easier! She will be my number 1 go-to anytime I need someone to take care of my cats in the future!”

“Charity was awesome visiting with our two cats. She made sure that our cat that loves people had plenty of attention. And went in search for our more reclusive one to put eyes on her. Very appreciated!”

“Karisa E. is amazing in every way. I’m so thrilled that I booked her for drop-in visits for our two cats while we were on vacation for twelve days in Maui. Although I had been happy with other cat sitters that I’ve worked with on Rover, I decided to give Karisa a chance, because she was more affordable. Boy, am I so glad that I did. Karisa bonded with our kitties, Klondike and Sprite, better than anyone I’ve ever worked with before. Sprite, in particular, is very skittish and will hide from pet sitters, but, miraculously, she was happy to let Karisa and her children hold her during visits. Klondike likewise got tons of attention and affection, as evidenced by the many photos Karisa sent. Karisa also took care of watering my many orchids while we were away. Plus, when I forgot to suspend our shipment of frozen meals from The Farmer’s Dog while we were away, Karisa was a lifesaver! Not only did she keep an eye out for the package, but when it arrived, she brought it in out of the hot sun, unpacked it, and stored everything neatly in the freezer for us. I will most definitely be booking her again in the future.”

“Hannah will be our choice in taking care of our animals next time we use Rover! Calm, efficient, and reliable…she will give you peace of mind that everything will be taken care of while you are away. Thank you Hannah!”

“Very communicative and helpful”

“I am so grateful for Brandi & Luis! I got updates about my cat while I was away. They went above and beyond with him. My cat doesn’t usually come out for guest, but he loved them!”

“Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure Odie had the best time while I was away at work for a week. She was flexible and accommodated last minute changes, she cleaned up after his messes and just did an amazing job. Thank you so much for all you’ve done for Odie and I!”

About: At Williamson Animal Care and Control I volunteered walking dogs. I also received significant training in dog behavior and dog walking. After retiring from my career, I started my pet sitting and dog walking career. I took care of a rescued Great Pyrenees multiple times during the week and frequently overnight trips for over two years. I recently moved back to the Fort Wayne area from Franklin, TN. Three of my previous dog clients have shown interest in having me come back to stay with their dogs when they’re out of town for more than a couple days. Pet sitting and dog walking are my primary responsibilities along with taking care of my two cats. I have a very flexible and available schedule. I take pride and making sure that the client’s home is as good if not better when I entered. I will walk the dog, feed or treat, make sure the water bowl is full and also if appropriate snuggles.

About: Experienced with senior dogs, and I understand patience and gentleness they require. I’m attentive to their routine and health needs. I will treat them like family. I do not work and am available to sit for your dogs or they can come to my home. I will treat them like family. I do not have any other animals and could give my full attention to your dog. I have a peaceful environment at home and welcome the company.

“My little Fiona was happy and well taken care of when we had to be gone for the morning thanks to Tiffany’s care and patience. She’s great and we’ll use her again if needed!”

“Brooklyn is awesome. Takes great care of the house and me importantly Edmund, my dog. He now like for her in the guest room! Hahaha. I'd say he's happy with her service as well.”

“Bree was fantastic! She took amazing care of Lucy and sent the best updates and photos. Her detailed messages made me feel so comfortable while I was away, and it was clear Lucy warmed up to her quickly. Highly recommend Bree—she’s wonderful!”

“Natalie did a wonderful job caring for my animals while at work. She was great at sending photos and communication. I knew my pets were in good hands!”

“Jada is amazing, very understanding and thorough! I will definitely be contacting her for any future help I may need!!”

About: i have been a pet sitter for friends and family for many years. I have owned several dogs and cats, and I currently have four kitties as my sweet dog passed away a few years ago. I also care for/feed five feral/community cats that I worked with Humane FW to trap, spay/neuter and vaccinate, and I supply them with heated cat houses. I have experience with elderly animals as well as special needs animals with food restrictions and allergies. I currently work part-time from home and make my own hours, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet(s)! My schedule is so flexible that I am available for drop-in visits, walks, playtime or overnight stays most days of the week. I have almost 30 years of experience in management, and I will care for your home and pets as if they are mine. I love to play with animals and walk dogs, and I also enjoy caring for them. Whether it's an elderly animal or one with special needs, I have a variety of experience and can care for your fur baby.

“Highly recommend…she went above and beyond for my little fur baby! So thankful I chose her for my cat-sitter needs ☺️”

About: I am currently a veterinary technician student with a love for all animals! I have helped care for my friends’ and my families’ animals since I was 10, and have been around animals my whole life. I have classes for about 4-5 hours a day, with breaks in between. I also have time before and after school each day and free most of the weekends. I am able to feed, walk, medicate, and clean out litter boxes. I will also play and entertain them whenever they are up for it and will take all the cuddles they offer.

About: Hi, I’m Kendra. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, but it’s become even more meaningful after losing my own dog and my parents’ dog. That kind of loss changed me—it deepened my empathy and strengthened the way I connect with animals and their people. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, fish, turtles, rats, and hamsters. I’ve also worked on a farm with horses, goats, and chickens, which taught me the value of patience, boundaries, and respect for each animal’s space and personality. My partner and I adopted a 7-year-old Border Collie who had been through abuse and was slow to trust. Helping her learn to feel safe again reminded me that love, time, and consistency really matter—and I bring that same calm, steady energy to every pet I care for. I’m comfortable with medication routines, special diets, and unique behavioral needs. I take time to read body language, listen, and make sure each pet feels safe and understood. If you’re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and genuinely connected to the well-being of animals, I’d love to help care for your pets like they’re part of my own family. Right now, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability during weekdays and weekends. I’m currently in between jobs, doing some part-time work related to my liquor license, so I can usually adjust my day around your pet’s needs—whether that’s early mornings, midday visits, evenings, or even last-minute requests. If you have a specific routine or timing in mind, just let me know—I’m happy to work with your schedule! Now that I’m able to offer care in my home again, I’m happy to welcome pets into a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I keep things peaceful, structured, and tailored to each animal’s needs—whether that means sticking to a strict routine, crating when requested, or offering a cozy place to relax. I also provide care in clients’ homes, where I’m always respectful of your space and your pet’s usual routine. I’m very familiar with dogs who like to run or explore, so I’m confident and careful with leashes, gates, and boundaries. Since moving to Fort Wayne, I’ve been exploring new trails and parks with a DNR pass, and I’d love to take your dog out for fresh air and adventure—at their pace and comfort level. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I take time to build trust and provide care that feels safe and familiar.

Rita W.
“I'm more than happy to recommend Rita Wheeler as a pet sitter. She has been the best cat sitter I've ever had. She's reliable and communicative, and she fully follows care instructions. She's loving to the animals, and she goes above and beyond during her time with them. It put me at ease to know I could trust her to take thoughtful care of my fur babies! The last cat sitter I had wasn't this great, but I didn't suspect she was having a negative effect on my cats until Rita took over. With the last sitter, when I came home from a trip, they would be hiding. After Rita became my cat sitter, they greeted me at the door. This made me realize they felt safer when she came over than the last person. I'm grateful to Rita!”

Kendra N.
“I have know Kendra for going on 15 years and she has always had pets and a heart for animals. She shows a strong connection to animals, seeming to understand what they want and need intrinsically. Kendra has always had a dog in her life of different breeds, ages, and developments as well as numerous other animals/pets over the years. I often go to Kendra for advice for my own pets. Something else Kendra does very well is research. If she doesn’t know something she will find the answer and is open to learning and being taught new information to better herself. Kendra goes above and beyond in her care.”
