“Fatima has been walking my 13-year old lab mix, Kona, weekdays for a month. She’s wonderful at keeping me up-to-date about my precious old lady with pictures and messages every day. I work 30 minutes from home so I’m thankful Fatima comes over to check in on Kona and take her for a walk every day.”

About: I’ve cared for my pet dogs for the last 20 years, two of them required special needs due to illness. I grew up with cats and dogs my entire life and also had a family farm for 11 1/2 years. I have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds, differing age and size. Both of my last two dogs recently passed away, so I’m seeking to offer care to help others in the meantime to fill the void of the loss. I currently work full-time, but I telework two days a week. I am available most weekends for now and could also take a break during my in office work days for potty breaks or short walks, if needed. I have a one bedroom apartment. I still have an available crate for use as needed. My complex has a nature trail and dog park on site. There are also other trails nearby.

“Kelly is a superb walker for my little Mimi. She takes great care of Mimi's well being, especially on these cold days, and has built a wonderful loving and playful relationship with her. Thank you Kelly!”

“Linda is an outstanding dog walker. We are so happy to have her close to us so that she can walk our American Foxhound Ollie! She takes great pictures of Ollie and walks him for about an hour multiple times per week. We're thrilled with the exercise he gets as he's a very demanding hound when it comes to activity. Linda is prompt, communicative, and really nice! She's very accommodating with Ollie as he gets a little too friendly sometimes and is really energetic at the door. She's been great and I'm excited to have her continue walking our dog Ollie..”

“Super friendly with our dog, very punctual, flexible to accommodate timing needs, great communication throughout the process. I totally recommend her!”

About: I have foster experience and know how to pill cats, syringe feed, and train cats with positive reinforcement. I have taken care of several foster animals from young to old and finding them forever homes. My friends and family have also asked me to pet sit their dogs and cats when they travel & I have been a cat owner for 13 years myself. I am wfh adult with flexible schedule. I can take care of animals on my weekends or weekday evenings. I can pet sit at the comfort of your house or watch them in mine. I will have a fenced yard in August, an extra guest room in my house, a lot of pet toys, & live near a walking trail.

About: I have been walking dogs and cat sitting since I was a kid. My family also had our own dog for 4 years, so I would love to help care for other pets in my community. I live in an apartment and work hybrid, so I get to spend a lot of time at home with a pet. I can play with pets throughout the day and take them out for walks as often as needed. I also love playing grass and beach volleyball, and can take pets with me as well for more time outside! I am free most often on weekdays. I live in an apartment with a lot of shaded areas and parks nearby for walks. Your pet would be able to hang out in my apartment living room.

“Alex has been absolutely great with my pup! She’s a bit slow to warm up but he was very patient and listened to her cues! Having him walk her during the day is a huge help! I will definitely continue to work Alex.”

About: Your pets will love me almost as much as I love them! I've watched pets professionally on-and-off for about 3 years now, and I love it!! Caring for others’ pets is fun for me, particularly because I’m not allowed to have pets at my current apartment. Because of this, I am not able to offer boarding services. But I am here for all your drop in, walking, and house sitting needs :) I'm pretty flexible with all my terms, just looking to make some money looking after your fur babies! I’m a student (out for summer) and am working part time right now, so I have plenty of free time throughout most days to care for pets. With advance notice, I can be very flexible! Every pet is different, and so I love getting to know how each likes to play and interact with their humans. I’m happy to go on long walks or play some fetch, or just lounge and get some cuddles in on the couch.

About: My name is Kaitlin and I am a true lover of dogs, cats, and animals in general. My friends and family would easily tell you that I always gush and comment over seeing dogs and animals in public. Whenever I drive by, walk by, see someone walking their pet it will usually be followed by me exclaiming “Awwww, look at that pup!” I truly love animals, particularly dogs, but also cats, and it brings me so much joy to take care of them. In the past, I’ve dog-sat and house-sat for friends and family. This included watching and caring for a rescue dog with aggression issues. My family had a basset hound named Dudley growing up but he very sadly passed away over the pandemic. If you select me to watch over your beloved pet, I promise to love and care for them as if they were my own. It’s a passion of mine and I’m so excited to be a part of the rover community. I work in Reston, VA part-time, Mon-Fri, 9am-1pm. Growing up, I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and bunnies as pets. I am up for any challenge and would be thrilled to take on the opportunity of loving and caring for your furry friend when you’re in need. I currently dog sit for friends and family, but I am looking to expand my role. I’ve heard wonderful things about Rover and would love to offer my services as a pet sitter. I vow to watch over your animal family as I would my own. Animals bring me so much joy and I love to love them and care for them.

Kristen F.
“Kristen is my go-to for all animal sitting needs. She’s the best. She’s taken care of my cat, Mo, many times during holidays and vacations as well as fish and frogs. She is very caring and passionate about her job, and simply loves doing it. She’ll often send me cute pics and videos of Mo as well! It’s very reassuring to know that the person I’m leaving my pets with absolutely loves them as much as I do. I know without a doubt she will take just as good care of them and love them and play with them just as much as I would. I absolutely recommend her to anyone 100% !”

Kaitlin E.
“I can’t recommend Kaitlin enough as a pet caregiver! She’s been absolutely amazing with our pug, Daisy, taking care of her both for daily walks and overnight stays when we’re out of town. Daisy adores her and lights up every time Kaitlin comes over—she truly goes above and beyond in making sure Daisy is happy, exercised, and well cared for. Before Daisy, we had another pug, Bartlet, who was known for being a bit of a handful (he was a rescue pug who had experienced some trauma before we adopted him). In fact, he had a tendency to bite and wasn’t the most welcoming to strangers. You had to earn his trust. But Kaitlin was fearless and had an incredible way of connecting with him. She broke through his tough exterior, and Bartlet warmed up to her in a way he rarely did with others. Kaitlin was one of the few pet sitters we could leave Bartlet with, a true testament to her skills. Kaitlin has a real gift with animals, and her calm, caring, and attentive approach makes her stand out. Your furry family members will be in the best hands with her!”

Andrea R.Star Sitter

“Andrea is an excellent pet sitter. Our first experience in dog boarding with her was superb. She cared our dog for two days. Her dogs are very friendly.”
