“Charlene and her husband have the biggest hearts. I signed up for Rover and within seconds, Charlene answered my request. I messaged her about a meet and greet, and she gratefully let us do that. As soon as we brought our dogs, they were so loving and happy to introduce them to their 3 sweet dogs. I knew after the meet and greet, that we had found our dogs there vacation home. We dropped them off for their 10 day stay and I admit that I was a nervous wreck. She treated them as her own right off the bat. We were out of the country and Charlene had sent me pictures and videos everyday. That made my days so much better knowing they were being well taken care of. As I came back from a day at the pool, I had a voicemail from Charlene that she was on her way to my veterinarian with our Paco. She thought maybe a bee sting. I called her back and they were waiting for the Dr to come in. Turns out he over used his leg and needed some muscle relaxers. Paco completely loved all the love he received from Charlene. She was so compassionate and loving. Winston was such a bundle of energy and they let Him live his best life inside there huge fenced in back yard. He loved making friends with Charlene’s dogs. As I saw all the videos and pictures, I said to my husband that they will not want to come home. We came home and picked them up and they were so glad to see us, but I do think that they really wanted to stay. They had so much fun, that when we returned home, they had passed right out. I am so happy beyond words that we found Charlene and her husband. We will always be asking them to take care of our fur babies if they will have them!! They sent us updates and the cutest pictures of her everyday. This is the most comfortable we’ve been leaving her behind and traveling overseas.”

“Absolutely wonderful, the yard is huge Chelsea, was great with Sugar Bear she went along without a backwards glance to mommy. She sent pictures and said she had no problems even though I've had issues with separation anxiety. I would definitely recommend her for taking care of your furry kid.”

“Rebecca did a great job with our Airedale Ellie. Before the stay she came and met Ellie and took the time to talk through everything with us and made she she understood Ellie’s personality and routine. When we were leaving she met us part way so we didn’t have to drive since we were running behind. Throughout the stay she sent updates and pictures. When we got back into town she even brought Ellie to us so we didn’t have to get back in the car after a 7 hr trip. Super grateful for this option and very happy with how Ellie was cared for.”

“Nancy is a wonderful dog sitter who made our Sadie feel right at home. Sadie had the run of the house and slept on comfy couches. She got to socialize with other dogs that Nancy was boarding, which kept Sadie busy. I enjoyed all the pictures Nancy supplied while we were away, it gave us peace of mind that she was well cared for. I recommend Nancy, she is a very caring and kind person, and I hope to use her services again.”

“Logan was our first Rover sitter and we couldn’t be more pleased. Logan took the time to really get to know our Bassett, Ollie, asking many questions to ensure Ollie was comfortable right away. “I can't say enough about Rory D. Her home was clean, neat, and very organized. She had a separate "bedroom" where Gigi would spend the night and relax when other pets were in the house. During her stay Rory gave Gigi the opportunity to meet and forge a friendship with another cat. I was so pleased! Rory followed all care requests. Rory sent pictures and videos of Gigi throughout her stay. Gigi appeared very content and happy. Gigi was well cared for and healthy when I picked her up at the end of her stay. Without any reservation I recommend Rory for pet sitting. She did an excellent job. I will definitely rebook with Rory D. the next time I need pet sitting services.”

“As all true dog lovers know, a dog is not just a pet, it is a member of the family. As such, I am very cautious about where and who I leave my dog with. As we had never had to leave our Violet with anyone, my wife and I were very worried when we had to leave our girl for almost 2 weeks. We did not feel comfortable boarding her at a kennel as we didn’t think she would respond well to that environment. So, we went to Rover to see if we could find someone we thought would be a good fit for our Violet. After reading multiple write ups on various Rover sitters, we found Erika who we thought looked like a good fit and was close to our home. At our meet and greet with Erika, my wife and I had perfect peace as we met with Erika and saw the home where Violet would be staying. Erika had a warm and inviting home, a fenced in backyard, and the perfect playmate, ( her dog Huxley) for our girl Violet. My wife and I decided immediately that this home and sitter would be the perfect fit for Violet. We were not disappointed! Erika loved our Violet as much as she loved her own dog and showered her with love and affection. She sent us daily pictures and videos of Violet and her dog playing, napping, and just having a wonderful time. She was having so much fun. We jokingly, worried that Violet wouldn’t want to come home with us after spending time with Erika. Ha Ha. In summary, any dog would be lucky to spend time with Erika. She is an amazing person and we were so happy we found her. This app only let me put in a rating of 5 stars, but if I could have, I would have put in 10 or more stars in rating her performance. We would definitely use Erika again in the future, if and when we needed to board our Violet. My only worry is that after reading my review of Erika, everyone will want to board with her and I won’t be able to have my Violet stay with her when I next need her. Ha ha.”

“Alexis has such a love for pets and she’s one of the only people I could trust to watch mine. She’s attentive, warm, assuring and did the best she can to make my puppy comfortable. He suffers from really bad separation anxiety and she knew just what to do to make him feel at home. She also has a dog herself and treats all other pets as she would jasper, whom she rescued.”

About: I’ve always had a dog growing up and currently have my own black lab! I also help my sister who fosters at a local rescue by letting her fosters take breaks, give them endless love with cuddles, and treat them like my own. Helping many different fosters, I have a lot of experiences with different breeds. My sister has a Husky and Australian Shepard who I take care of regularly too. I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, etc. I currently am a teacher so I will be doing this part time on evenings and weekends. I will be available on breaks of course! However, I will be available during all of summer including the weekends and weekdays for your dog’s needs! I have a big fenced in yard. I have a black lab to keep them company as well. I can put them in crate, feed, play, and walk them.
