About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and play with their pets, as well as provide companionship when they’re away. I’m attentive to routines, patient with nervous pets, and always prioritize safety, comfort, and love. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to focus on pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or sitting on weekdays after at varying times depending on my schedule. I enjoy building playtime, walks, feeding, and check-ins into my daily routine so pets get consistent attention, care, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a spacious yard and a friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoy having company. I carefully supervise all interactions and can separate pets if needed. I’m happy to crate dogs upon request, follow specific routines, administer basic care, and respect all house rules when caring for pets in your or my home.
About: Even at a young age, I am very trusted by friends, family, and my community. I have spent countless hours with all breeds, sizes, and ages. Dogs have always had a special place in my heart and I cherish each old and new relationship! I am blessed to still have my 12 year old red fox lab in my life, so I take care of her daily. I have many loved ones who sometimes need help caring for their pets and I am always first on their list to contact. I love to be outside and partaking in physical activity, so I would love to provide a service for walking/exercising your pets! When clients communicate with me how they want me to meet their dogs needs, I will do everything I can to meet that expectation!

About: Hi there! My name is Savannah, and I recently moved to the area! I grew up around dogs/cats of all kinds my whole life and have previous experience with dog sitting for friends while they were away on trips. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I spent time caring for and walking both dogs and cats. You don’t need to worry about traveling, as I have my own vehicle to travel. Because I work part time at a clinic, I’m available only afternoons and nights during the week. However, I'm available all day during the weekends. If you need a sitter, I would be unavailable to take them to my own house, but can stop in/stay at your place. Caring for an pet greatly depends on the pet themselves and the owner's desires. I love to play and be active with the animals if allowed. If a pet is older and doesn't like to be active for long, I enjoy just spending the quality time so they aren't lonely while their owner is away. I also always check in with the client about their pet's basic needs, such as how much they are fed and how often, how often they are let out, if there is any needs for any disabilities, etc.
“Rachael was wonderful!! She took very good care of our Dog while we were on a trip. She sent pictures to update us and made us happy to know she was giving our dog special attention. I would recommend her and use her again”

Frequently asked questions about Rover

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
