“I can't say enough about Karen, from the meet n great through the entire stay. She was very thorough with details and communication. She welcomed my fur baby into her home and loved him like her own. She did an amazing job keeping him in his daily routine. This was the first time he has stayed with anyone other than family and I could not be happier. The daily updates and photos helped me enjoy my vacation knowing he was in great hands! I could tell with the photos that he was really loved and super happy. I look forward to booking more stays and highly recommend her and her family.”

“Jennifer was amazing!!! She took such precious care of our Mayo buddy! She responded so quickly, allowed for last minute booking, and sent updates the entire time! Mayo loved playing with the Corgis! He never gets to play with dogs his size so he loved that! They had lots of sunshine and outdoor time! We will use Jennifer again!”

“I can't recommend Kelly enough! She is so incredibly loving and treated our small dog, Axel, like royalty while we were away. She sent frequent updates and photos of him living his absolute best life snuggling on the couch. Having total peace of mind while on vacation is priceless, and it's such a relief to find someone so trustworthy. Kelly is the absolute best!”

“Tasha took great care of our senior dog! She asked great questions to make sure she was informed on everything and provided great updates. We will be booking her again for our next trip!”

“We never worry when Suki is with Abbie and her wonderful family! She is always loved and well taken care of. We get great pictures and updates along the way and flexibility with pick up and drop off times.”

“Nicole and Derek are wonderful! We have used them on several occasions, and Charlie seems happy while there. He greets them lovingly every time we drop him off. Thank you for sharing your home and love with our Charlie!”

“This was our 2nd time using Dynette and she was FANTASTIC again!! My dog HATES thunder and an unexpected storm pooped up! Dynette was so loving and patient with her! I cannot thank Dynette enough! My dog is so comfortable and loved when she is there! Dynette is the best!”

“Rachel did a great job with Ralphie! He was happy and seemed to enjoy his time with her. She took him to the park a few times! I would be comfortable using her services again!”

“Loki had the best time staying overnight at Jessica’s. There were plenty of other dogs for him to play with and we were given updates and pictures throughout his stay. I would highly recommend and definitely go back. 5 stars!”

“Alexander cared for my dog exceptionally well. I received photos and videos during the stay and it looked like my dog was having lots of fun. I highly recommend Alexander and will rebook with him for future stays!”

“Great stay as always! Suki runs into Ali's house like she owns the place and happily greets her family like they are old friends. This always make us feel comfortable leaving her and we never have to stress about her while we are away.”
“Tracy is absolutely wonderful. She provided such loving care for our dog Winnie, giving her true one-on-one attention, lots of pets and walks. We’ve already booked our next extended stay with Tracy in a few months - cannot recommend her enough!”

“Lynn was great. She goes above and beyond. My dog does **not** like being away from us. I think Lynn’s home environment, with a few other dogs with him to play with, worked well. He ate all his food, and she reported that he was making some friends. She also sent me a couple photos.”

“Callie had another fun stay with Mika and Andrew! She loves playing at their house and they send great updates everyday, which are so exciting for us to read while we’re away. We’re already planning for Callie’s next “vacation” at their house! Thank you!”

“Sarah took great care of my dog. I got lots of photos of my dog having the time of her life. She kept me informed of how well my dog was doing and loved on my dog. Sarah took great attention to my dog’s special diet and her behavior problems which helped me sleep well.”

About: 20+ years of experience (that makes me feel old). Unofficial dog sitter for family and friends since high school. Loyal to my fellow dog loving friends sharing word of mouth recommendations, fostered a giant breed and helped find his forever home, loved my first dog for nearly 8 years, and now I would like to fill the void by helping care for your four legged family member. I have experience caring for senior dogs and puppies as well. I work fully remote, so I appreciate the screen breaks. I am able to go out for walks or outdoor time often. After losing my dog this summer, I do miss the quality time and walk routines. We joke that you better love dogs, but it is true. My home is setup to be dog friendly, maybe more rugs for traction on the vinyl plank floors. Animals are part of the family and that is how we treat guest pets as well. Living on 3 acres in the country, so a great space for outdoor activities. I am quite respectful when residing in another’s home and great at following instructions and/or preferred routines.
“Wonderful dog loving care. Secure back yard. Julie was in communication with my anxious elderly dog, Which eased my fears and allowed me to relax and enjoy my getaway. Thank you.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Lawton home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lawton.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Lawton sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
