About: I love all animals! I have previously owned and trained a Belgian Malinois rescue and a lab/pit rescue. Both wonderful dogs. I am a navy vet, dog owner and dog lover. I use positive reinforcement training methods, and I know how to read the body languages of animals. I am respectful, neat, and I'll make sure you pet is well taken care of! I offer dog sitting, and occasional boarding services. You can rest easy with the knowledge that if you hire me, they will be my number one priority. I will communicate at least once a day, and more if requested. I live in an apartment and WFH full time, so I'll be able to provide ample attention to your dog! Not that they might need it because my puppy Orion will be begging them to play nonstop! I monitor play time continuously to make sure they get along well. Sometimes if a client's dog DOESN'T want to play I make sure Orion leaves them alone. He'll just be whining on the couch. No matter the size of your dog, I'll make sure they are safe and comfortable. Orion has had experience playing with 100lb German shepherds and snauzers to mini pinchers. He loves all dogs that will play with him.

From energetic pups who need long walks to shy cats who prefer a quiet presence, I’m happy to adjust my care so they feel safe and loved. Pet care is a natural part of my day — I already spend plenty of time at home, so I can easily fit in drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and litter box cleaning. I keep my schedule flexible so I can work around each cat’s normal routine, whether that means early morning breakfast visits, midday cuddles, or evening check-ins. My priority is making sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. When caring for cats in a client’s home, I make sure their daily routine stays as close to normal as possible. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime or quiet company depending on their personality. I pay close attention to body language so I know when they’re ready for cuddles or just want space.

They went over right away for me and gave her food, and made sure everything was okay, sending me lots of pics along the way! Really made me feel better about if my kitty was going to miss any meals!”

About: Currently doing drops in visits and walks (dogs and cats). Feeding, yard time, play, brushing, watering, all the good drop in stuff. I have experience walking dogs of all breeds and sizes (10-200 lbs). I learned a great deal about healthy mobility as I had to rehab my pup at adoption. I also have 2 cats at home and love playing and cuddling (when they let me) with them. Happy to care for other types of pets but will need clear instructions. :) I work remotely and mostly for myself right now so I have pretty good flexibility to drop in or walk your pups. During the week I can walk or drop on Mon, Wed, Fri and the weekend. - Front yard is fenced and 4 feet high; 2 large water bowls - Back yard is fenced and 6 feet high; 1 large water bowl - Dogs are fed separately from each other - I'm mindful of what toys are out to avoid resource guarding related mishaps.

“Amanda is always amazing! She has checked on my cats and chickens for me two or three times now, and she never disappoints! Her updates are thorough, she shares adorable pictures of my babies, and even feeds snacks to the chickens sometimes. They are used to our kitchen scraps on a daily basis, so I'm sure they really apperciate the snacks she gives while we are gone. 😊 The cats love her and love her attention. She hangs out the full half hour to give them the love they crave while we are gone. I couldn't apperciate her more!”
