“Great experience! Recently my dog stayed several hours with DeAnne. She took excellent care of him. He’s now scheduled for two nights of boarding. I’m very happy to have found DeAnne on Rover.”

“Jennifer had great communication and her availability - even on short notice really helped watching my two dogs. She met us at the car and was very responsive on any check-ins. Super friendly and will use again!”

“Ryan and his partner are THE BEST. Ryan sent me updates and was an amazing communicator throughout the day while my pups were at his house. I received lots of photos, as well! My babies came home so worn out from their fun day at day care and went straight to sleep. They are extremely high energy, so it takes a lot to wear them out! GORGEOUS house with lots of indoor and outdoor room for the dogs to play on a quiet street. They have a doggy gate as you walk up the stairs to their house as an extra precaution. Their dogs are sweeties too and my pups had a grand time with them. Will definitely be using again. Thank you so much! :)”

“Yui was absolutely amazing with Reese. She sent me pictures of him throughout the day and was very responsive when I would message her for check-in's. Reese felt right at home with her. When I arrived to pick him up, his tail was wagging and I could tell he had a great day. Before we got in the car to leave, I told Reese to say goodbye, and without hesitation, he walked up to Yui with tail wagging and gave her kisses. I will use Yui and Brian again for sure. This was my first experience leaving Reese with anyone, and will not hesitate to leave him with Yui and Brian again.”

About: Hi, I’m Mya – a dependable, loving pet caregiver with a heart for animals of all kinds. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even senior pets for years, both personally and professionally. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or just providing comforting company while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I’m especially gentle and patient with shy or older pets, and I always tailor care based on your pet’s unique needs and personality. I also have experience with crate training, giving oral meds, and following special feeding routines. You can count on me to treat your pet like my own — with kindness, attention, and lots of belly rubs! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I truly enjoy it. I plan my day around feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I make sure pets receive consistent attention, love, and structure every day — just like they would from their owner. Whether it’s early morning or evening, I’m flexible and fully committed to giving each pet the time and care they deserve. I care for every pet like they’re my own — with love, patience, and attention to their unique needs and routines. Whether I’m hosting them in my home or caring for them in yours, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable at all times. I follow all instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, potty routines, medications, and playtime preferences. Communication is also a big part of my care — I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you always know your pet is in good hands.

About: Good to meet you! My name’s Jen and I have been raising animals of all breeds and species since I was 4 years old. My grandparents farm on the reservation always maintained at least 20-30 animals. I had my first goat, 4 dogs, a guinea pig and an African parrot named BoBo when I was 2. I am an ASPCA guardian, a WWF defender, PETA advocate and currently have 4 dogs of my own. I lost my two pits the beginning of this year and the one prior to golden age, broke my soul to lose them……Without my recently departed Pit-babies the sizes of my dogs are 5 lbs-38 lbs. All are Dog and cat friendly, also proven track records with guinea pigs and parrots. All pets are allowed on furniture and beds so yours will be as well. You can ask me for as many photos and videos as you need to feel comfortable; I have also recently ordered a Pet cam set-up which will enable me to send real time, direct videos to pet parents, so cool…... I sanitize the dog areas 2 times a day; once before eating lunch and then again after dinner. I do not use harsh chemicals at all; only natural cleaning remedies as my dogs have severe allergies as well. Since the animals that I foster and adopt are elderly or handicapped or have some sort of illnesses, I am well-versed in administering medications of all sorts; topical, oral and injections as well as being a groomer 😉, we can make sure it’s all covered. I’m hoping to begin to do this full time soon, god willing. For now I am part time but a full time animal lover. For the next month I have free time all weekend I take care of them however and whenever they need taken care of. You just have to have keen senses and anticipate things even if they never happen, that’s how you stay prepared

“Our 1 year old high-energy Golden Retriever, Sally, had a great time playing with Jeff & Giselle’s dog, Fred. She was tired when we picked her up at the end of the day which is a good indication she received lots of mental & physical stimulation. Jeff & Giselle have a beautiful property and seem to genuinely enjoy dogs. It was a pleasure interacting with them and Fred. We received lots of pictures and texts updating us on how Sally’s day was going. We feel confident Sally is safe in their care.”

About: I have taken care of different kinds of animal my entire life. Because of their unconditional love I find tremendous satisfaction when caring for and loving them. I am recently retired and can think of no better way to spend my time. Animals soothe the soul. I am very comfortable around all breeds. I do not have a fenced yard, but it is private. My dog is a member of the family, not a pet and your precious angel will be treated the same!

About: For over 17 years, I’ve been loving and caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities—from tiny lap companions to giant breeds, and wiggly puppies to seniors and special needs pups. Over the years, I’ve learned how important patience, empathy, attentiveness, and enrichment are in providing good care and keeping dogs happy. I adapt to each dog’s personality, energy level, and routine so they feel secure and cared for. Friends and family have trusted me for years to provide safe, reliable care. I’m also happy to offer gentle brushing and basic baths for cooperative pups. I’m home full-time, so your dog will have plenty of companionship and care throughout the day. I’m mostly a homebody, only leaving for short errands or appointments, which means your pup will rarely be alone. I can stick to a regular feeding, potty, and activity routine, or follow any schedule you already have in place. My flexibility allows me to adapt easily to your dog’s needs, whether they enjoy a structured day or a more relaxed pace. We live in a fairly large 3-story home on 9 acres in Dahlonega, GA, with plenty of space for dogs to safely explore. While the yard isn’t fenced yet, I use shaded tie-outs with water bowls and . Fencing is planned for this fall or early winter. We’re a pet-loving household of three adults (no kids), with the other two working from home most of the time—so dogs are rarely alone. Our home includes a friendly, spayed, 3-year-old lab mix who plays well with others, plus three cats (two indoor, one indoor/outdoor), all current on vaccinations. Our family tends to spend a lot of time outside, working on projects around the property--as long as it's suitable, your pup will be invited along to hang out and explore (walking with me secured by a leash, or we'll find a safe spot for a tie-out). If I need to leave home for a while, I can crate your dog or let them rest on the back porch. For pups who enjoy car rides, I’m happy to take them to pet-friendly spots like downtown Dahlonega, local trails, or dog-welcoming stores. Indoors or out, I make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved.

“We were in the area on a camping trip and my Parker needed somewhere to stay while we were doing an activity that wasn't dog friendly. Thankfully Jennifer kept me updated with pictures throughout the day. It was my first time using Rover and it was a pleasant experience.”

Jenn E.
“If I could only describe Jen in one word, it would be compassionate. Jen has a compassion for animals like nothing I have ever seen. My animals love her (even the pincher who hates everyone, including my partner, LOVES her). The care and consideration that she takes with animals is amazing to see and having her there for me when a relative fell ill.....she alleviated so much stress taking my animals on as her own for an entire week. She dropped everything and even stayed at my home so they wouldn't be in "culture shock" with a new person in a new environment for that length of time. You can tell shes a farm girl and despite not being bothered by getting dirty in the slightest, she sure can keep and maintain and spotless home/vehicle. She has taught me how to listen to my animals and pinpoint behavior that can be indicative of other things, e.g. one dog walking under the chairs rubbing his back against them. She asked to look at his skin and sure enough, he has a very serious skin allergy. Me and my partner just thought it was a cute little quirk but Jen is so in-tune with their behaviors and has so many years experience with animals in general, she noticed right away. I am very blessed to have her as a close friend and for her to be in my pet's lives. I could not have met a better caregiver; I would trust her with my own life.”
