“Ann & Jaren took such great care of my Lottie girl when I was on vacation to NYC! They kept me up to date with lots of pictures; being that this was the first time we were apart for this long, I really appreciated the photos and care she received. She was in great hands and I 100% will be using them in the future! Thanks again 😊”

“Lacie was absolutely wonderful to our Cockapoo, Biscuit. We did day care in her home and she has a house perfectly suited to having animals and a huge fenced yard. She clearly loves animals and I’m so glad I found her. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Michelle was very responsive and attentive to our dogs during a daytime visit at her home. They are not boarded very often and it was comforting that she gave them the attention they needed. Would definitely use her again!”

“Kharen was a great dog-sitter for our pup and provided pics throughout the day. Zilly came home happy and exhausted from playing all day. Kharen was also super flexible with us when we had some unexpected traffic that required extending pick up time. We really appreciated her and Zilly loved her! Thanks Kharen 😊”

“I can't say enough great things about KaLynn. She did some daycare for our senior dachshund so we could do some sightseeing in the area and our pupper loved her. KaLynn sent us photos and updates throughout the day, which made us feel confident that things were going along perfectly in our absence. 10 stars if I could give them”

“Logan is awesome, he agreed to doggy day care on short notice. He gave our dogs the space they needed to adjust to him and his dog, and when I picked them up in the afternoon they were playing and ignoring me, and fell straight asleep in the car ride home. We found our new routine!”

About: Hi! I might be new to Rover but not pet sitting! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently own two pugs and a soon to be therapy dog named Zoey. I also live with my husband Mike! He is an engineer at Duke Energy & isn’t always home. But I work from home so cuddles are always available for your pup! Beyond caring for my own pets, I’ve volunteered with the Blue Ridge Humane Society and spent several years fostering animals in need, helping them transition into loving forever homes. Through fostering, I’ve gained experience working with shy, energetic, anxious, and special needs pets, always focusing on patience, safety, and positive reinforcement. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and caring companion while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Please reach out for special requests. I can try to accommodate such as picking up your pet or dropping you off at the airport. I live 6 minutes away from AVL. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members🐾 I currently work from home so if you have an anxious, high energy, sleepy, and separation anxiety I’m your girl! I am a Rover customer as well so I will your dogs just like I would want another Rover sitter to! All dogs are allowed on the couch & bed! I sleep with my 3 crazy sweet dogs. I do have a fenced yard. We also have a dog park in our community! I take my dogs there every day after work.
“There are not enough words to express how grateful and appreciative. I am with all of your pictures and kindness and homemade treats. I can tell gunner had a fabulous memorial day weekend doggy daycare party with you.. thank you again so much and we can’t wait to see you again!”

About: I have taken care of pets as long as I can remeber. People ask me to help them with their pets all the time. Your pets are part of your family. I will treat them as the treasures they are. I am available every day from 7:30 am to 7 pm. With those hours it gives me a lot of time to keep your fur baby entertained and fed. I know that for my own clan of animals that I prefer to board them at home. I like to offer the same service to my clients. Kenneling at home keeps your pet comfortable in surroundings they are used to. I can swing by to feed them, walk them, and just keep them company at least twice a day.
“This is a great family and I’m starting to think my dog loves them more than she loves me. They’ve been flexible with my work schedule which has made a huge difference in my life and my pup’s. She always passes out snoring after spending the day over there. Happy puppy! Thank you so much!!!”

“Megan was awesome! She clearly loves her own pets. I appreciated that she let our dog inside the house and on the bed with her for snuggles. We got lots of photo updates. Her yard is large and fenced in as well.”

“Julie did a wonderful job watching my two girls at the last minute. She was very responsive and kept me informed with cute pictures throughout the day. My pups came home happy and tired. We’ll definitely use her again!”

“This was our second visit in preparation of a two week stay and we wanted our dog to get used to Rebecca. She is so loving and kind--this time Haley licked her face, which is a sure sign of love. We are much more confident about our upcoming trip. Rebecca is great.”

About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs in 2020 and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of them when needed. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable with! We have two baby gates at home, so if we ever need to separate dogs in our home, we have the ability to do so. I always will be respectful of my clients and whatever their wishes are.
“Great experience! This was our first visit with Ryan but it will not be our last, my Max had a great time and this pet mom had no worries. Highly recommend this sitter!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and currently have 4 very happy snoops from small to large. I'd love to walk, hike and/or run your dogs to keep them happy.I've cared for puppies and senior dogs and am comfortable with both. Pet care is easy for me since I don't have a regular work schedule. I retired as a Navy contractor and competitive triathlete. I can walk them, let them out and feed them early morning and late evening. We have a large fenced in dog yard and can bring your best friends to our house to run in a safe area, this is especially nice for dogs that don't do well around other dogs.
Laurel Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
took great care of our dog on a very short term notice (on a Sunday !). Has a great fenced yard for the dogs and all dogs were happy playing with each other and well supervised. We were traveling and it was truly a miracle to find such loving people who took excellent care of our dog on a short notice. Highly recommended. Five stars +++
