About: Hi, I’m Melanie! I grew up caring for dogs and have continued building hands-on experience with pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. In college, I became a sitter for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, where I helped care for and support the training and daily routine of a guide dog in training. More recently, I’ve provided independent pet-sitting care for multiple dogs at once. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, exercise, senior-dog care, oral medication, and keeping pets on their normal routines while their owners are away. My availability is currently open, and I’m happy to coordinate drop-ins, walks, and other services when I’m available and always communicate clearly about scheduling. About: I have worked at an animal shelter for the last 3 years. I have learned the best ways to administer medications to both dogs and cats. I also know how to handle to ones who are harder to give medications. I have worked with many types of dogs. I have learned how to properly tell if a dog is comfortable or nervous. I have worked with many puppies. I am very good with cats. I have 3 of my own. I have worked with many shy cats and know to take my time and to be patience. I am currently work on fear free course for my shelter job but hope to bring that to my sitter jobs. To help make a dog or cat comfortable. I also am familiar with rabbits and guinea pigs. I am also willing to work with any other type of animals that you need caring for. I currently work at my shelter job on Thursday and Fridays. I am a stay at home mom who has a little more flexibility to do two to three drop in visits during the day. The days I work I would only be able to drop in twice a day. When I visit clients pets: ●I will make sure their water dishes are full ●Feed or refill automatic feeders ●Let the dogs outside to be able to stretch and use the bathroom ●Clean litter boxes daily or every other day depending on amount of cats ●Spend time with the animals, from playing to cuddling of animal allows. ●Give medications if needed ●Make sure I count for each animal before I leave.

I've been an animal lover since childhood. My childhood dream was to become a veterinarian but I decided on taking a different path and served in The Military for 20 years. I’ve had the unique experience of breeding Boxers for a few years. As a breeder I have cared for newborn puppies, deworming, administering shots, and potty training them until eventually finding them forever homes. I will walk, feed, and play with your fur baby and set their minds at ease until you return. I am retired and I’m ready to start a hobby that I will love. I can crate your fur baby only if it is necessary. There is a separate space fenced in in my backyard if needed.

About: I grew up with pitbulls, blue heelers, and cats. I currently have two fur babies named Theodore and Jax (who are living a 5 star luxury life 🐾). My friends reach out to me if they need help with caring for their doggies. I’m trustworthy and will respect your instructions! I will not do anything or give anything to your pup unless it’s specifically stated beforehand or I ask you first. I do not have children so it’s easy for me to be flexible in caring for your baby! I will provide loving care, and most of all, keep you updated and send plenty of photos to give you the reassurance that your pup is safe and cared for. I LOVE plants, so if there’s any plants you need watered while you’re away, I’d happily do so! I currently do not work. I mostly tend to my fur babies or my garden most days. I am doing college online but it is very flexible. My schedule is pretty flexible! Unfortunately, I cannot take care of animals in my home. We are renting and our lease states we have to have prior approval and charge a fee if another animal will be residing with us. My corgi (Theodore) is a bit of an introvert as well and does not enjoy other animals (other than Jax) in his space. I am able to drive and take care of your pet in your home! I don’t mind taking multiple trips if that will put you at ease about your pet!

My busiest day will be Thursday. I have a fenced in yard with two friendly dogs. I can put them in their cages if needed. I feed the dogs and give them a lot of time to play.

About: Taking care of dogs is second nature to me. I am a dog loving household and am always itching to find another 4-legged-frito-smelling doggo to love on. I have 2 dogs, a schnauzer mix and a labradoodle. They are couch potatoes, so anybody would fit in here. I have worked with dogs basically my whole life and have dog sat for countless friends and families. I am a certified pharmacy technician and am able to care for your senior dog with medical needs. I would be best fit for families who wanted to go on weekend trips and leave their doggos to someone they trust! I can also offer services through the week if need be. I am an early riser and let our dogs have as much outside time as they want until I leave if I have to. I have a fenced in yard, as well as a larger front yard for running and playing. I have baby gates to separate if needed for feeding time or at night for sleeping arrangements.
