“Elizabeth was wonderful! Super flexible and helpful when pick up time was a bit later than expected. She provided updates of my pup and he had a great time playing her dogs! Thank you Elizabeth and highly recommend for anyone looking for a sitter.”
“My Keizer and Lily were well taken cared of. We had complete comfort of mind with our dogs away. We got plenty of pictures and communications. I will definitely book again!”
“They did a great job with our two dogs (Boston terrier [age 1], King Charles [age 5]). Constant communication with pictures and a nice sized, fully fenced back yard.”
“Heather was wonderful! Abbie was well-cared for and very much at home with Heather and her daughter. Lots of fresh air and space on the property, plus other animals for Abbie to see- chickens, ducks, and kittens—she loved it! Heather was very responsive to texts and sent pictures of Abbie’s activities over the course of the weekend. I look forward to using Heather again and highly recommend her.”
“They took very well care of both my dogs and sent me several pictures and videos. My older dog has anxiety and peripheral vision because of his age and I could tell he was very happy”
“Maggie absolutely loves staying with Miss Bobbi. Miss Bobbi takes such good care of all her little babies. I know when I leave Maggie with Bobbi, she will be loved and looked after. Even after Maggie has left Miss Bobbi's care, Miss Bobbi checks in on Mag to make sure she is OK. I 100% recommend Miss Bobbi, and 100% appreciate having her available to watch Maggie.”
“Josie and her family were very welcoming of Clove. I asked for a meet and greet since this is our first time booking her service. Our dog immediately got so excited to meet everyone that she did zoomies in their yard. We received daily updates through photos, videos and texts of how she was doing. We knew that she had a wonderful time since she came back home happy and tired. We will definitely rebook with her!”
“Jack was great with our dog, Buddy. This was Buddy's first time away from home and I was worried about how he would do. Jack sent me pics often and assured me Buddy was doing just fine. Jack and his family were very accommodating to our schedule. Things went so well, we will definitely use Jack again. I highly recommend Jack for your pet's care.”
“First time boarding with Patricia and she was great with our two dogs (Ollie and Indie). They are used to running free in a fenced in yard and Patricia has a large, beautiful back yard for them to run in. Her dog was very calm and friendly toward our dogs. I plan to board again in the future and highly recommend her.”

“De'Andra and Robert were, loving, attentive and nurturing caregivers that took the time to care for our Cockapoo and her special needs. It was a relief and comfort to receive many pictures and updates over the course of the week. Our pup seemed relaxed and happy in their home, making our time away worry free.”
“Teresa kept my Bella for 10 days while I was gone for my wedding and honeymoon. She kept me updated with pictures and videos while I was gone which was great! When I returned Bella was happy and calm! Anytime I board her a the vet she is a bit wound up and upset when I get back. This wasn’t the case after staying with Teresa! Thank you for taking care of Bella!”
“Our Puppers just loved hanging out with Kathy! Tucker become her lap dog and Daisy made herself right at home in her well puppy proofed home. They loved their time outside with her and watching squirrels from her back patio window. We will definitely use her again next time we need a sitter!”
“Michelle is the best, so we decided our dog deserved a vacation too. Rather than get a hotel room that takes dogs, he got to stay with Michelle and Emmy. He loves it there!💕”
“Our dog loves staying Pam’s. As soon as we tell Storm that he’s going to Pam’s. He gets excited and can’t wait! We are so happy to see him getting lots of love from Pam and enjoy his dog friends.”
“This was our second stay with Jaideep and we’re very happy with the thoughtfulness and care he took of Nova. She seemed very happy and relaxed with her stay. We will use him again for future needs. I highly recommend Jaideep and his wife.”
“Vasumathy was an excellent choice for our puppy. She started us with a meet and greet which was a great idea. She sent us daily updates and videos. She made us feel at ease when we had to leave our lab for four days. We would definitely use her again.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Latimore home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Latimore.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Latimore sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
