About: I have loved animals from a very young age, convincing my parents to get me my own dog when I was 10 years old. Her name was Zoey! I trained her myself, and she was my best friend. Not long after that, I began dog sitting for friends and eventually also spent time cat sitting and taking care of animals like chickens and bunnies. I adore pets of all shapes and sizes, and I understand entirely the immense value they have in our lives. I want nothing more than to make you feel safe allowing me to care for your best friends. I am occupied from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, but I am free most weekends and available to care for pets in the evenings. I make sure all animals are well fed and watered as fits their schedule. For boarding stays longer than three days, I may request a four-hour daycare trial to help ensure we’re a great fit. Proof of current vaccinations is required for all boarding guests. We spend time playing, enjoying supervised outdoor time, and incorporating enrichment throughout the day while balancing exercise with plenty of rest. I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.
