Ms Kim always takes excellent care of my girls. They are puppies, with lots of energy and my schedule is not always reliable to be the same. She is great to work with and provides open communication about the status of my fur babies. Peanut and Dot love daycare days! 🐾

Laura was incredible with my 1 year old golden doodle Remy. This was his first time at a day care place and being with a stranger all day and she made him (and ME?) feel so welcome and comfortable. Took him for nice long walk, played ball, hang out in the beautiful fenced in backyard. Send me several pics throughout the day, gave me ease of mind by confirming that he is doing great, and having a good time. Thank you so much for taking care of my boy, I will be back for sure.

About: Hello! I’ve been a dog sitter for over 12 years now. From assisting with the birth of puppies and kittens, to helping our older babies get out of their bed, and holding their paw while they take their last breaths, I’ve done it all. I truly have a passion for animals and want to provide them with the best life possible. After all, they are our best friends! I have experience with epileptic, pregnant and in heat, sick, physically disabled, and as I mentioned, new borns and older dogs! I have a very open schedule! I’m free in the mornings, nights, middle of the day, and on weekends. whenever you need me, I’m here! I never let the dogs out without a leash at my house, no matter how experienced they are with the area or how well they listen. Their safety is my biggest priority. Let me know your preferences and guidelines to follow!

About: Growing up, I always had 4 pets at any time, and was in charge of all care for them! 2 dogs and 2 cats, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, litter, and lovings. I currently have 1 cat and 1 pup of my own. My most frequent client has 4 large dogs and 1 bunny, all of which get spoiled under my care. I have experience with the most common pet breeds: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and hamsters, Guinea pigs. I am entirely caring, responsible, assertive when needed, and prompt. I work full time Monday-Friday in downtown Augusta 8:30am-5:30pm. I’m currently not able to leave during the day for lunch time potty breaks unless it is very close to there. For home boarding and doggie day care, my boyfriend mainly works from home and loves sharing the love ! The app also doesn’t always quote the correct prices for me, so please message me if you have any questions :) For house sitting, I fully stay at your home and take care of your pet, as if I am at my own home. I always take care pets and the home itself. I will always leave a place cleaner than when I arrived! For boarding, we have baby gates to separate animals for their own time, etc, when necessary. Our enclosed bricked in yard is perfect for any dog that wants to fun around and play fetch with our girl Ivey. He husband loves fur babies just as much as I do.

About: I've taken care of dogs (of various breeds) since I was in middle school. I have done short-term and long-term care both out of my house or going over to the owner's house. I am a very calm and reassuring person and have worked with both young and elder dogs. I am a recent graduate who is currently applying to post-graduate programs and jobs, so I have great flexibility in my schedule when I am not helping my grandmother with errands or volunteering at Greendale Elementary (on Tuesday and Thursday mornings). I can do any weekday besides Wednesday afternoons. I can do most times on the weekends unless I have a prior engagement planned. I can do Christmas/Winter Break, but I will be away for Thanksgiving this year. I have a fenced-in yard and have plenty of room for housing your pet as there are no other pets in the house currently. The neighborhood is very safe and has walking paths for walking pets. I am also happy to drop in or stay at your home if that is more comfortable for your pet (or you)!

Charles was awesome and took very good care of Tucker. We were in town for a tournament and he was very understanding when our last game ran into double overtime causing us to be 1/2hr late for pick up. It seemed that our pup didn’t travel too well and had a sensitive stomach during his stay, Charles took very good care of Tucker despite his stomach upset. Very grateful he was in good hands!

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and caring animal lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, playtime, or a calm and attentive sitter while you're away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. **I also offer yard freedom for all my furry friends, as our home sits on .25 acres of fenced in yard, a sought after haven for those high energy babies who love to get their zoomies in!** I understand that every dog is unique, so I always take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and energy levels. From energetic walks and games to relaxed companionship, I tailor my care to what your dog needs most. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your furry friend is doing. I treat every dog like they’re my own and work hard to build trust with both pets and their owners. I’d love the chance to meet you and your dog and help make their days happier while you’re busy or away! I am a SAHM, so caring for dogs and cats can easily be built into my schedule! My little one loves animals, so taking him along or introducing him to someone new is always exciting, he also enjoys playing with them! We do love backpacking on trails, so there is no limit to the care and fun I can provide. I provide safe, attentive, and loving care whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in their own home. Since I have animals of my own, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and I treat every animal like part of the family. For **boarding in my home**, I create a calm and comfortable environment where pets can relax, play, and follow a routine similar to what they’re used to. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, bathroom breaks, and a safe space to rest. For **house sitting in a client’s home**, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. I also help keep the home tidy and make sure pets feel secure while their owner is away. For **dog walking**, I make sure each walk is safe, fun, and suited to the dog’s energy level. Whether your dog enjoys a brisk walk or a slower sniff-and-explore pace, I tailor the walk to their needs. For **drop-in visits**, I stop by to feed pets, refresh water, clean litter boxes or potty areas, provide playtime, and make sure they get plenty of attention and care. No matter the service, I always prioritize safety, clear communication, and keeping owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pets are happy and well cared for.

My dog loves this woman. She did a few drop-in visits for us prior to in-home daycare. We pulled up to her home and, when she saw Chelsey, my timid pup went trotting into Chelsey’s house like she forgot I existed (she was excited to see me at pickup, so no hard feelings lol). Have already booked her again!

Emilee was wonderful with our nervous dog! We were visiting from out of state and she took care of our hound so we could attend a lengthy family wedding (if we were local she'd definitely be our new go-to for dog care!). She was very kind, flexible, and communicative. Excellent experience.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Langley

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 157 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Langley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Langley commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 157 sitters in Langley, 93% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
