Doggy Day Care in Wood Valley

About: I've taken care of dogs (of various breeds) since I was in middle school. I have done short-term and long-term care both out of my house or going over to the owner's house. I am a very calm and reassuring person and have worked with both young and elder dogs. I am a recent graduate who is currently applying to post-graduate programs and jobs, so I have great flexibility in my schedule when I am not helping my grandmother with errands or volunteering at Greendale Elementary (on Tuesday and Thursday mornings). I can do any weekday besides Wednesday afternoons. I can do most times on the weekends unless I have a prior engagement planned. I can do Christmas/Winter Break, but I will be away for Thanksgiving this year. I have a fenced-in yard and have plenty of room for housing your pet as there are no other pets in the house currently. The neighborhood is very safe and has walking paths for walking pets. I am also happy to drop in or stay at your home if that is more comfortable for your pet (or you)!

About: I treat every dog as if they were my own. My goal is to provide more than just pet sitting, and I create a loving, comfortable environment where dogs feel safe, happy, and cared for until their family returns. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I make time each day for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention and affection they need. Caring for animals is something I look forward to, and I enjoy creating a safe, loving environment where pets feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also keep their environment clean and safe, follow any special instructions from the owner, and provide regular updates so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

About: Growing up, I always had 4 pets at any time, and was in charge of all care for them! 2 dogs and 2 cats, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, litter, and lovings. I currently have 1 cat and 1 pup of my own. My most frequent client has 4 large dogs and 1 bunny, all of which get spoiled under my care. I have experience with the most common pet breeds: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and hamsters, Guinea pigs. I am entirely caring, responsible, assertive when needed, and prompt. I work full time Monday-Friday in downtown Augusta 8:30am-5:30pm. I’m currently not able to leave during the day for lunch time potty breaks unless it is very close to there. For home boarding and doggie day care, my boyfriend mainly works from home and loves sharing the love ! The app also doesn’t always quote the correct prices for me, so please message me if you have any questions :) For house sitting, I fully stay at your home and take care of your pet, as if I am at my own home. I always take care pets and the home itself. I will always leave a place cleaner than when I arrived! For boarding, we have baby gates to separate animals for their own time, etc, when necessary. Our enclosed bricked in yard is perfect for any dog that wants to fun around and play fetch with our girl Ivey. He husband loves fur babies just as much as I do.

About: Hello! I’ve been a dog sitter for over 12 years now. From assisting with the birth of puppies and kittens, to helping our older babies get out of their bed, and holding their paw while they take their last breaths, I’ve done it all. I truly have a passion for animals and want to provide them with the best life possible. After all, they are our best friends! I have experience with epileptic, pregnant and in heat, sick, physically disabled, and as I mentioned, new borns and older dogs! I have a very open schedule! I’m free in the mornings, nights, middle of the day, and on weekends. whenever you need me, I’m here! I never let the dogs out without a leash at my house, no matter how experienced they are with the area or how well they listen. Their safety is my biggest priority. About: I have 25 years of experience as a pet sitter being self-dubbed the "overnight queen" as I specialize in overnight stays of any length. The dogs and I have FUN slumber parties during which I fully engage with and interact with them, playing with their toys and giving the most excellent tummy rubs imaginable! Owners are happy too as they return to a happy pet - dogs "tell" by their behavior and in over 500 pet sits, every dog has been safe, sound ... and happy! In fact, many owners say I did a great job because "my dog acted like it didn't even know I was away!" All dogs love me ... and I love them. Dogs are people, too - only better ! I am self-employed so can set my schedule, especially with as much advance notice as possible. I often bring my little 9 pound, Shih Tzu, which I keep and a carry crate and kennel that has worked out fine with both dogs and cats. We can arrange a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable. I have separate bedrooms if dogs need their own privacy, but I do try to have dogs interact and be friends. I have a long hallway to play fun games and go get it!

About: I have always had a passion for loving and caring for animals. I am working on a change of career and want to earn extra income and hope to slowly transition to being able to do more through Rover. I have grown up with animals and have cared for everything from a duck to a horse. My grandparents owned a farm and I took care of and trained the horses and also caref for the dog and cats on the farm. I also have fostered through the Humane Society to help dogs and cats find their furever home. I can't wait to get to know your fur baby and help you with their care and everyday life. I love walking around at parks and certain trails. I can stay in the neighborhood, as well, if preferred. Let me know if they have a favorite treat or particular way they like to walk or play. I am a stay at home mom to a 3 year old who loves all animals. This will give her the opportunity to socialize with more animals. This will also provide more opportunities to teach her responsibility through watching how I care for animals. I usually check the pets water and food, if asked. I give medicine the ones who need it. For dogs, I usually include a short walk so they can potty or let them out into their yard. For cats, I’ll try to engage in play for a little bit so they can get some exercise in, as well.

About: I have owned dogs for over 34 years. Our dogs have ranged from Great Pyreneese and Grey Hounds down to 5 pound chihuahuas. Our last dog (Jack the teacup Chihuahua) lived until he was 18 years old. We decided it would be fun to help others board their beloved dogs as we had the privilege of using house sitters many times over the last 34 years. I am an adjunct faculty at a nearby University and teach almost exclusively online. My schedule at home is pretty much that of a stay at home mom. My husband and I love to take long walks and have always in the past included our dogs. We have a large home (2700 square ft) with no stairs. We have a large fenced in backyard and we do have an in ground pool. I always go outside with our dogs as I do not trust hawks and owls (especially with small breeds) and not all dogs are familiar with pools. I love to share my couch with pets to get extra cuddle time in. We allow dogs in every room of our home and invite smaller dogs into bed with us. Food and water is always available (except when an owner wants a specific schedule). Most of the home is wood floors with the exception of our living room.

About: I have worked with animals all my life from livestock to exotics. I have a degree in wildlife and love animals. I can ensure a safe loving space for your pets while you are away! I am currently a stay at home mom of a 6 year old son with more than enough time to spend with your fur babies. I have a large fenced in backyard and plenty of playmates for your fur baby. My dogs are very open to new animals and enjoy playing with new friends. I also have two cats, two ferrets, and a parakeet.
