“Hilary has been wonderful and patient with Acorn. I booked Hilary for reoccurring visits, weekly, for several weeks, and it has been great! We appreciate the flexible scheduling!”

“Chloe was great! She showed up promptly so we could put a face to the name and feel confident in our pet care. She was really flexible and was able to make time for our kitties. She communicated well which really helped relieve the pet care stress of vacation. She seems to put a lot of effort into loving animals, and it showed in our cats attitudes when we returned! They seemed like they had a good week and seemed barely phased by our absence. Thanks Chloe! Definitely will rebook.”

About: I grew up in Florida and I've been in Pennsylvania since 2017. I work at an accounting firm in York with my dad, and I'm a part-time fire performer. I've had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. I like to connect with dogs by interacting with them in a way they can understand; running with them, playing with them, teaching them, etc. I am a Registered Behavior Technician and I work in an autistic support classroom. I work at a clinic from 9-5. I am generally awake earlier in the mornings, so I would be able to take care of your pets in the morning before going to work, then I'd come and check on them and hang out with them after I get off work! I love playing with dogs, whether it's with toys or with attention. While I am taking care of another person's pets, I aim to be conscious of how you want your dog to be treated and cared for.

“Julie did an awesome job with our cats! She was very responsive and gave me a little update each day of the care she provided, and any settings of spy cat she might’ve had. They love to hide, but she did a good job playing iSpy. Thank you again for all your help. Will definitely use you again in the future!”

About: With years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, I provide loving, reliable, and attentive care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. From energetic puppies to senior dogs, I’ve worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. My background includes dog walking, in-home pet sitting, administering medications, feeding routines, and providing comfort and companionship while owners are away. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same affection and attention I’d give my own. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I strive to create a stress-free and nurturing environment that helps your furry friend feel safe, happy, and loved. I'm currently working 3.5 days per week and looking to establish myself in pet sitting/care. I can be available in the evenings, Thursday anytime, Friday afternoons and weekends. I am an active volunteer with 2 rescues currently, and just love pursuing my life's dream and goal of providing loving, attentive care to all pets. My home is pet-proofed with separate areas as needed, fully fenced, air conditioning. It is 2-story, so if need be I can carry up to 30lbs. Doors all properly latch, no doggie doors.

“They were wonderful! Loved having them spend time with my little pack of dogs. If we weren't going to be moving out of their area of service. I would continue to hire them. 10 out of 10!”

About: For the past few years, I've been pet sitting for friends, co-workers and family to help care for their pets while they're away. While I can't have pets at my current place, this has been a great way for me to fulfill my love of animals in another way! They have relied on me to walk, feed, play with and keep their pets feeling safe and secure while they're away. I do work full time, however my days can be flexible and I have Fridays off and most evenings to utilize for you! Whether it's a drop in visit or a walk, I can make that happen with my weekly schedule. When I'm spending time with your dog, they are my top priority. While I cannot have pets at my current place, whenever I am watching a dog I will follow any safety instructions you havre for me. Specifics for how to walk, where they can go, if they need to be crated after, etc.

“I knew my kitties were in good hands with Sandy and it was the peace of mind I needed!”

About: Hi everyone! I’ve grown up caring for cats and dogs and have been trusted by friends and family to walk and dog sit their pets. I also helped train my dog, Kobe, giving me hands-on experience with basic commands. I’m dependable, attentive, and passionate about making every pet feel loved and comfortable. Currently, I work part time at Stauffers of Kissel Hill grocery store in Roherstown and I am an undergrad student at Millersville University. During the Summer I have plenty of free time to care and play with your pets! On the weekends, I am free Fridays and Saturdays whenever as well as before 3 on Sundays. During the week, I am available some Mondays, Wednesdays at any time, and Thursdays after 4. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow any specific instructions provided so your pet feels safe and cared for in their own space. I make sure they will get as much love, attention, exercise, or space as they need! Communication and trust is a big factor so I will keep owners updated with messages and pictures to give peace of mind.

About: Growing up with dogs instilled a strong sense of responsibility in me. I have extensive experience caring for reactive dogs, as well as senior dogs and young puppies. My approach emphasizes patience and understanding, ensuring each dog's unique needs are met. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, providing a safe and loving environment for all. I currently work full time but am available most evenings and weekends. I can be flexible and am willing to do what I can to best fit your schedule! I will treat your home and pet as my own! We will not be able to host your pup at our home, but I am happy to stay at your home!

“We are so incredibly grateful to have found her! From the moment she met our brand-new puppy, Loki, she’s been nothing short of amazing. She takes such great care of him—walking, feeding, playing, and giving him all the love and attention a little pup could need while we’re away. Her communication is excellent—always keeping us updated with messages and photos so we know Loki is happy and in good hands. It’s such a relief knowing he’s being cared for by someone who treats him like her own.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds, from puppies and mother dogs through the organization Phoenix Assistance Dogs to my Grandpa’s hyper Beagle. I am free on weekends, after 2 pm on most weekdays and after 5 pm on all weekdays :) I have a dog crate, toys, treats, doggie bags, leash, a water bowl and a food bowl at my house if needed. My ability to board dogs at my own house is limited but might be possible depending on the situation.
