About: New to Rover, but not new to the world of pet care! I’ve worked with dogs for over 14 years through fostering, pet sitting, dog walking, and volunteer work with animal shelters. I’ve volunteered with shelters for more than 10 years and also have experience helping train service animals, which has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, behavior, and working with dogs of different temperaments and needs. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, from young puppies who need extra structure and attention to senior pets who may need a slower pace, patience, and a little extra care. I love making sure every pet gets the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they need. I truly treat everyone else’s pets as if they were my own, and I’ll always keep you updated with plenty of photos while you’re away. I have a full-time job with flexible hours, which allows me to fit pet care into my schedule consistently. I’m most available on evenings and weekends, and I always make sure I have plenty of time to give each pet the attention, exercise, and care they need. I live in a house with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable and settle in. I’m very mindful about safety, routines, feeding instructions, and each pet’s individual needs. I also have a friendly 6-year-old cat who is comfortable around other animals. I’m happy to use a crate if that is part of your dog’s normal routine, and I always do my best to keep pets feeling safe, relaxed, and at home.

About: Taken care of my own cats for 6 years. Work at a shelter caring for different breeds of cats. Attentive to the needs of cats. Daytime hours are best and weekend hours are available. Many flexbile time slots throughout the day, especially if short blocks of time are also needed. It was a pleasure to have Rachel watch our dog over Christmas vacation. She gave our pup lots of snuggles and love, and even though we had a snowstorm while we were away she was still willing to come. (We were able to get a neighbor which was wonderful, so hopefully she got to stay home and snuggle up!) We will definitely be using her again!

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
