“She's a very trustworthy and responsible person. She's always communicating with photos and messages, and that makes me feel very confident that my baby is okay. I highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for many years and have always considered them part of the family. While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I understand the love, patience, attention, and responsibility that comes with caring for someone’s beloved pet. What sets me apart is the personal attention I give to every pet. I take the time to learn their personality, routine, and individual needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m dependable, caring, and treat every pet the way I would want someone to treat mine—with patience, kindness, and plenty of affection. My goal is simple: for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands. 🐾❤️ I currently work full time so I am available after 6pm weekdays, and most of the day on weekends to play and care for you fur babies. When caring for pets in their home, I follow their normal routines and the instructions provided by their owners. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and supervised, while giving them plenty of love and attention. I’m respectful of every home and treat it with the same care I would want for my own. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
“Hannah was very responsive with messages and sent pictures and videos of Marvin with each visit. Marvin liked her immediately, which put my mind at ease. I look forward to having her take care of our boy in the near future!”

About: Throughout my life I have owned many pets! This includes dogs, cats, turtles, lizards, ferrets, gerbils, and even guinea pigs! I love them all! I am experienced in giving medication and caring for senior pets as well. If you’re looking for a bonus grandma to help care for your fur baby, I’m your gal! I live with four dogs and one cat so I am very accustomed to having pets as a part of my daily routine. I am also a retired grandmother, so I have plenty of free time on my hands! Whatever your pet needs, I’ll be able to provide! Small dogs can easily be taken for a walk and played with, cats can easily be entertained with toys and lots of snuggles.
“Idaly, took care of my fur babies while we were on our family vacation. My dog Teddy is a rescue and gets high anxiety. Idaly, was very kind, loving and caring to my Teddy. My fur babies always looked happy in every picture that she sent me. my two cats loved her as well! With this, I was able to relax on my vacation. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again. Thanks again 😊”

“Liv was absolutely fantastic with my big boy! He cried at windows when she left and he hasn't done that with anyone but me. She actually played with him when she was over and he was SO happy and relaxed after she left. I will most definitely be using her again when I need pet care again!”

“First time using Rover app service, Found Christine, she was great with Tiger and her job. Completed assignments that we asked her to watched over Tiger for 2 drop in visiting and took him for walk as well. Thank you Christine for help us checked in Tiger.”

About: I’ve had experience with animals for most of my life! My family had a red beagle growing up and an orange tabby cat. My sister currently has a lab/golden retriever mix that I help out with when it’s needed! I have cared for other animals as well for friends and family if they’re away on vacation or if they’re not around I work full time during the week in the school system, but I can help out after hours and also help out on weekends! During the week I could help out after 4pm and weekends can vary with time. Our family beagle used to have an invisible fence to keep him inside the yard. Currently with my sister’s lab/retriever mix, we put her on a lead in the yard when she needs to go out. If she’s outside with no leash/lead, she’s in an enclosed space where we make sure she can’t get out of.
“Alondra is a great care giver for my dog, Sasha. She always arrives on time and communicates very well, with updates and pictures. Sasha loves Alondra, who walks her, feeds her and loves on her. We are lucky to know that Alondra is caring for our dog when we are away.”

“would like to sincerely thank Kathryn for the wonderful care she has given to Rocky Duke and for overseeing Blair. She is a genuinely caring, trustworthy, and dependable person who always goes above and beyond. Knowing they were in her care gave me complete peace of mind. I highly recommend Kathryn to anyone looking for someone compassionate, reliable, and dedicated. Thank you, Kathryn, for everything you did for my babies.”

“Our cats were well taken care of by Christina while on vacation. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Definitely plan on using Christina again.”

About: We are a loving and lively household where we will snuggle and play fetch with your pup, take them to the dog park, and keep them happy and occupied. My husband and I have a very active goldendoodle, Bell, who is 9 years old. Neither of us remember a time when there wasn't a dog in the house growing up! We know that we are taking on no small task when we agree to be responsible for your furry friend. We will follow your instructions to a T and we realize that every doggo is their own unique individual with their own unique needs. We are pros when it comes to high-energy dogs with a mind of their own! I am a full-time parent of three and we have a dog of our own whom we are home with all day. Staying active with our doodle is an integral part of our daily routine and we would love to have even more walks, games of fetch, and tricks + treats to look forward to! We LOVE to love on your pet! In our home you can expect a minimum of two 20-minute walks a day, plus more upon request and some leash time in our back yard if they like to hang out and observe the world. We are big proponents of fetch and chase.
“Emily was absolutely amazing. We had a very unusual situation where we lost power the night before leaving for vacation, which meant we could not leave Tucker at home as planned. Emily was incredibly understanding and stayed available in case the power came back on and we were able to leave. When the power was finally restored, she refunded us for the days she did not need to come, even though she did not have to. We had specifically asked her to remain available during that time, so we truly appreciated her honesty, flexibility, and understanding. Once we were able to leave for our vacation, Emily was wonderful with Tucker. She took him on really nice, long walks, communicated with us consistently, and did everything she could to accommodate our situation. You can often tell what someone is really like when nobody is around. We have cameras inside our home, and while I was not sitting there watching every moment, I would occasionally check in to make sure everything was going well. Every time I checked, Emily was incredibly sweet, patient, and attentive with Tucker. You can absolutely tell that Emily is a true dog person. She treats the dogs she watches like they are her own, and that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We would not hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, honest, caring, and genuinely great with dogs.”

“I travel a lot for work and visiting family out of town, and Lana has become my “go-to” cat sitter for my 8 year old cat Ashy. She has spent countless hours with my cat Ashy. Whenever she shares pictures of her visits with him I can tell that he is enjoying her company. She keeps him fed and watered and cleans up around his litter box. My good boy is stress-free and happy when I get home after Lana has been checking in on him, and I can always count on Lana keeping my door locked when she leaves. I recommend Lana as a responsible, caring pet-sitter.”

“Gabe did an excellent job caring for our two cats while we were away! One of them requires insulin injections and has a few quirks, and Gabe handled everything with confidence and care. He clearly paid attention during the meet and greet and followed instructions closely. Communication was great, and we felt totally at ease knowing they were in good hands. We’d happily book with Gabe again!”

It was a pleasure to have Rachel watch our dog over Christmas vacation. She gave our pup lots of snuggles and love, and even though we had a snowstorm while we were away she was still willing to come. (We were able to get a neighbor which was wonderful, so hopefully she got to stay home and snuggle up!) We will definitely be using her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
