“First time with Violeta and no complaints here! She was thorough with her visit which included plenty of pictures! Easy to communicate. She jumped right in there and had a ball (literally) with the high energy needs of our pup. Will definitely be using her as long as her availability allows.”

“Joelle did a fantastic job for us. One of my dogs can be skittish around new people, especially when we’re not there, and Joelle was very patient and understanding. I will definitely become a repeat customer.”

“Thank you Lisa! To all looking for a Rover pet sitter. Lisa has watched Brooklyn several times now and each visit has been great. She really takes great care of my dog, Brooklyn. I highly recommend Lisa!”

“It’s always a relief to find a sitter who’s dependable, consistent, and able to attend to each animal’s patterns and quirks/needs. But Heather is more than that because my cats also grew to love her (in just a week!). Six cats give paws up!”

“Savannah was so kind to reschedule at the last minute for us. And as usual, she was prompt on arrival. The cats are really showing interest in her and I'm feeling good about her looking after our boys.”

About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

About: Special needs/senior care Potty training Leash training Experience with reactive dogs Able to administer oral medication and injections Can walk more than 1 dog at a time My schedule is fairly flexible but I’m more often able to work in the morning. I am unavailable from 1-8 pm on tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 4-8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. Fridays and weekends are often open for me. When I’m sitting in a clients home I try to spend as much time with the animal as possible so they have company and have the chance to get to know me. I try to do a visit with their owner first if possible so I’m able to learn more about them and their routine at home. For walks and drop ins I like to reach out to owners so I know as much as I can about the pets personality and habits before meeting them.

About: I'm a passionate dog lover with a special knack for puppy training. I'm also a proud corgi mom, so I know how to handle even the most energetic breeds with patience and love! I'm currently working full time as a phlebotomist, but I have off every Sunday and at least one other week day. Also, every other week I work day shift so I have time to walk your pet if need be in the evenings. All you have to do is ask if I'm available a certain day at least 3 days in advance and I'll be sure to tell you if I can help! I currently live in an apartment and have plenty of space in the living room to set up your dog's bed, crate, food bowls, etc. Plus, if they feel lonely, I have a 1 and a half your old corgi named Clyde who is super friendly and playful. However, if you need your dog to cared for alone, I am able to keep Clyde in a separate area. On another note, if I needed to come to your place to do a drop in visit, please know I would respect your space and follow the instructions you provide.

About: When I was born my family owned 2 dogs and throughout my life I have had at least two dogs in the house at all times, From an over aggressive dog when I was little to a rescue dog and another dog that had serious health issues I have seen it all in my own personal life I am a college athlete so i can do visits during the day or at night to check on the dog and i can do house sitting on weekends I have two smaller dogs that can bond well with other dogs, I also have access to a fenced in yard to let your dog run. Due to my past dogs I am experienced with administering medicine in many different forms for dogs.

“This was just a trial and all went very well! Tina was even able to make friends with my one foster who likes NO one. We booked her for a weeks stay to care for our 4 seniors while we’re away.”

About: Having owned cats and dogs (and many other animals!) for over 15 years, and having cared for other family pets in my community, I have significant experience with pets of all energy levels, ages, medical/emotional needs, and sizes. For my own pets that are well into their senior years, I have dispensed medications and delivered subcutaneous fluids—so you could say I have a knack for getting pets to take their medications! I will be Rovering full time (available any time any day) before my beach lifeguarding job starts up. After my beach lifeguarding job starts, I will be available part time after work. As someone entering medical school in a few months, you can trust I pay attention to detail, and will do so in your home. Any special instructions your pet requires, I will follow to a T. I’m very transparent so if there is anything I have questions about, I will ask promptly.

About: I have owned many kinds of different dogs but primarily have owned Yellow or Black Labs growing up. Currently own a dog I rescued from a kill-shelter in Alabama while I was in college, who is of mixed breed. I have also volunteered in college for fundraisers for Tuscaloosa City Animal Shelter and have worked with rescues and many different breeds of dogs. When I was in college we lived in a communal style small houses with shared backyards. I helped train 3 puppies including my own, they were house trained. Then they learned how to sit/roll over and how to behave from the training I would give them. I have 2 large dogs that require a lot of exercise and care. Boulder is a fluffy 9 year old dog mixed with Chao, Rottweiler, Lab, and Australian Herding Dog. He constantly needs to be brushed and or groomed because he sheds a lot especially in the Summer. Roxy on the other hand is a 3 year old Yellow Lab with tons of energy and was bred to be a hunting dog. She needs a-lot of exercise daily and likes to chase other animals we have in our large forested backyard. This question is hard to answer because each client has specific needs. For Example, a client in an apartment complex is going to have different requirements for their pets than someone with a large home and backyard. Attention to detail for what the client needs will always be the number one priority.

“Jackie was exactly what we hoped for in a caregiver for our senior Golden Retriever, Coco! She took special care with her meds, meals and ensuring Coco had plenty of water. Jackie was patient with Coco and got her moving and warmed up gently before going outside. She was an amazing communicator, reinforcing instructions and special needs allowing us to have full confidence that Coco would be well taken care of while we were away. Jackie provided nice updates and photos from each visit, putting us at ease seeing how happy and relaxed our dog was with her. I will definitely be using Jackie again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and thoughtful caregiver.”

“Mr. Keller did a great job with my dogs. He was very attentive and had a lot of patience. Especially considering how anxious my dogs are around new people. By day 2 however they were ready and willing to be taken out by him and even let him pet them. Keller also did a great job cleaning messes that would happen every now and then and provided long good walks for the pups to enjoy. My was family was pleased and when we came back the dogs were very happy to see us again and looked healthy. Thanks again Mr. Keller!”

“Jadyn has demonstrated her devotion to pet care both as a dog mom herself, and as a dog sitter for friends and family over the years. She has a corgi, Clyde Waggins, aged 1.5 years. Since getting Clyde, I have seen nothing but unconditional love and consideration for him. She loves him more than anything else in this world, and he and his wagging tail feel the same towards her. When watching other dogs, she is patient with even the most energetic dogs that I have seen, and gives all animals the same affection that they deserve. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone who your pet will look forward to seeing, and who you can count on to care for your pet like one of their own”
