“Lisa was GREAT taking care of our two somewhat high maintenance dogs while we were gone for a week. We needed someone who could stay at our house most of the time since one of our dogs gets anxious while left alone. Lisa took care of all their specific needs, communicated with us along the way, and kept the house in order despite the messy pups. She even kindly checked the forecast for storms to make sure she was with the dogs since they are scared of storms – which was so considerate. She stayed in contact while I was away (which helped to work through some unforseen issues) and sent pictures and videos of my cat while she house sitted. She also seems to be some kind of cat whisperer since my cat is not friendly with many people but seemed to take to her immediately. She also helped me navigate the Rover site for booking what I wanted and planned ahead to avoid letting my cat out into a storm (I was out of town and unaware of the situation). Our babies are very large and can be intimidating if you don't give them a chance to show that they are loving, but she handled meeting them with care and confidence and they took to her almost immediately. She was respectful of our home, cleaned up after the dogs who are very messy/dirty, and also took care of the fish while we were away. Our newfoundland with separation anxiety is acting normal now that we're home, whereas he usually acts sick when we leave him alone for only 5-8 hours; so we know he was given lots of love and attention. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 6 and I’m great with all sizes, breeds and ages as I’ve helped multiple dogs give birth and I’ve also taken care of geriatric dogs. I have volunteered at Our Farm Sanctuary and I foster for The Rescue Haven My life has always been surrounded by dogs, I love my animals more than anything. The first thing I do when I wake up is take care of the dogs, take them on a walk and then give them their breakfast and enrichment bowls/mats. I base my daily routine off my pets! I have fenced in yard and three fixed golden retrievers that are sweethearts. If you use a crate, I do ask that you provide that as I only have 2 of my own and they are occupied by my two youngest dogs. I have to crate Tucker and Dixie because they will eat anything when they’re bored, INCLUDING a wall 🤣 the crate will be cleaned and sanitized before pickup. I also ask that you provide your own food, that way there’s no upset bellies! I have plenty of natural treats if you’re okay with your dog having them
