About: I have taken care of animals since I was 12. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine Concentration. I also graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology as an Assistant Animal Laboratory Technician. With that being, said I have a vast amount of experience on how to care for animals. I am currently working part time, so I have a flexible availability when it comes to caring for your pet(s). Monday-Thursday I am available after 3pm, and Friday-Sunday I have full availability. I usually would let the animal get used to my scent and me being in their space, and then I would care for the dog by feeding them, and taking them to go potty. Then, I would play with them to ensure that they do not get bored and not have separation anxiety.

About: I’ve had animals all my life and have been caring for dogs and horses for the past 6 years. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m dependable, patient, and treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently working toward a career in veterinary medicine, so caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy it’s my passion. About: Growing up, I have always had pets. We have had both dogs and cats that I had to care for since a young age. As I’ve gotten older, I have been watching friends’ pets when they go out of town. In 2019, I made a Facebook post about my dog sitting that caught many people’s attention. I had many responses that led to lots of pet sitting that summer. Every summer since 2019, my schedule has been completely booked up with pet sitting in my area. I have experience with small dogs, big dogs, puppies, older dogs, and cats. I have experience giving both oral and injectable medications. I have spent time volunteering at the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County, Southern Pines Animal Shelter, and the West Memphis Animal Shelter. I am very comfortable being around both dogs and cats, understanding their body language, and caring for them. I am a social work graduate student in the North MS area. About: Back in 2014, I attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology, graduated early with my diploma in Assistance Animal Laboratory Technicians, also with a certification in Purina Mills Animal Care Course. I have done an internship with North Shelby Animal Shelter as well as Bartlett Animal Shelte, where I took stray dogs/ abandoned out for walks and to play. Most of the dogs I encountered with at the shelter were sweet and loving dogs that just need a friend and time to spend with a person. I treated those dogs as my own. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
