About: I have been petsitting for as long as I can remember. I have watched dogs, cats, and lots of different exotic pets. I especially love sitting for rodents! I will happily trim/grind nails if requested. I currently work full-time at a vet clinic, but I can stop by the houses on my lunch break or before/after work. I always check on pets at least three times a day. I can easily crate pets if needed, I always make sure water dishes are full and pets are let outside to go to the bathroom before I leave.

About: Growing up I was raised on a farm so there’s not a day where I haven’t been surrounded by animals. Whether it be going to a 4-H show on the weekend or going on a run with the dogs, we always had an animal with us. I now have a golden retriever and she’s like another kid to me so I completely understand wanting to find someone you can trust with your animal while you’re gone. About: I have a giant 110 pound dog and I have been walking him for years. I have a lot of experience with walking all types of dogs, big, small, reactive, and trained. I currently only do DoorDash deliveries and Instacart deliveries for income, so my schedule is flexible and open. This is what I’m looking to do for income. I won’t necessarily be able to bring the dogs to my house because one of my dogs is not too fond of other dogs, but I can walk your dogs and feed your cats.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
