“Charlene was great with our two cats. She took care of all our kitty needs while we were away and even spent time playing with them. It was everything we wanted and needed for the two of them! Thank you Charlene❤️”

“Angela was GREAT! Our cat is VERY shy and doesn't come out for strangers. I was pretty sure it would take about a week until Hayley would 'come out to play'. Angela 'talked' to Hayley each day and played music to calm Hayley. It took just a week for Hayley to came out to meet Angela and enjoyed getting brushed and petted. I will definitely use Angela again when needed. Super nice lady! Private review: Thank you so much for being so patient and taking great care of our Hayley. Being in the UK and not being able to send messages to you was a bit frustrating BUT your daily photos and notes made things much easier on our leaving Hayley for this trip. THANKS!”

“Anika was cheerful and responsible. She suggested coming to meet Miles and review his routines even though she was only going to be doing drop in visits for 4 days with him. It was a comfort to know that she was there for him.”

“We have been using Jamie's dog walking/drop in service for several months now. We are so happy with her, she obviously loves dogs and cats, is very reliable, has been extremely patient and flexible with our changing schedules and is always quick with responses. She's been a perfect fit for us since we recently moved and needed our pup looked in on and walked a couple times a week.”

“Stephanie is a fabulous pet sitter. She took great care of my cat Beaumont and she fed my precious wild birds who go through bird food like crazy, so both cat and birds had reliable care for the duration of my absence. She also sent me pictures of both. She left my house cleaner that any previous pet sitter on Rover. I would definitely use her again.”

“Janice was the purrfect cat sitter! I was very appreciative of the time she spent to ensure that Finnegan’s care would be exactly what was needed. Making the effort to meet with the owner and the pet beforehand was a great peace of mind Janice was also punctual and easily accessible through tx if needed. I recommend Janice with a big thumbs up! 😸”

“Literally a life saver! I booked last minute with her and she took care of everything with no problems. I know my dogs loved her and she’s very communicative. Will book with her again, i honestly might only book with her again haha. Thank you for everything again!”

“Excellent! Always on time, worked with my changing schedule, provided great pics of my pups during drop ins, managed all my doggy gates and kept my girls separate during turn out, and came and met my pack before she accepted the gig. A+ will be rebooking.”

“Was in a huge crunch, time wise, and Morgan stepped up and delivered big time. She is personable, responsible, diligent and ridiculously willing (in a great way) to ensure my pets were well cared for and my mind was able to focus on my travels, and eased. Morgan sent daily pics of my pets that showed they were growing more accustomed to her twice-daily visits. She followed directions to the tee and even went beyond what was asked. Of course I’ve already booked her again! Thank you, Morgan!!!”

“Tiffany is great with our guinea pigs. She has one of her own and understands small animals. They seemed to really like her and when we came home they were happy healthy and well cared for. I appreciated her daily texts letting us know how they were doing.”

“She went above and beyond to help out with not only my animals but my garden too! Her communication was excellent and she was kind and genuine. So grateful I found a great sitter!”

“Carrie was amazing! She managed to get one of my very shy kitties to come out for pets and treats. Carrie did an excellent job with communication and the pictures were wonderful! Highly recommend!”

“Dasha was absolutely fantastic. She checked in with us every day with a detailed update about our cats and the care she gave them. We looked forward to her photos every day during our trip! (She has a knack for photography!) She met with us prior to our trip to discuss the cats and the care required and we were really impressed with her level of attention and thoughtfulness.”

About: I’ve been a pet sitter for 16 years and an animal shelter volunteer since June 2025. I provide walks, enrichment, comfort, training, and shelter breaks for dogs. I socialize and play with the shelter cats as well. If your dog or cat is from Camano Animal Shelter, I’ve likely already bonded with them! My car is dog proofed and equipped with seatbelt clips for safe transport to owner approved adventures! I have always had animals in my life and it brings me so much joy to care for them! I had two of my own high energy Labradors for 11 years. I have had cats for 22 years and a Netherland dwarf rabbit for 9 years. I volunteer at my local animal shelter on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 12:30 - 2:30 (sometimes I stay later if I am not petsitting.) My classes are online. As long as I have access to wifi to study, my schedule is very flexible. My cat, Sadie is spoiled rotten. I keep her space very clean, and I’ll do the same for yours! I’m a homebody and I’m very content just doing schoolwork on my laptop while I keep your pets company.
About: I am a fun-loving friend of dogs (and cats) who will make sure your babies are safe, loved, and having fun while you are away. I've been a dog/cat mom for more than 40 years. I have excellent dog training skills, having trained my dogs over the years. I've also cared for senior dogs with special needs. I have a large, fenced yard and can offer overnights as long as your dog gets on well with another dog. Here for you and your babies and will make sure they get all the love and attention. 😍 I'm currently working PT from home, so I'll be able to keep your pet safe and will be home for them all day (unless I need to run an errand or something). My routine is easy-drop them off, and I'll handle the rest. I can even transport them if you need help with that. I have a large, dog park-sized yard that is fenced. If your dog isn't an escape artist, they will be fine here. Lot of room to run and play. :) I can always walk them or be with them when outside should you prefer that. I have a 6yo large dog who loves other dogs and will enjoy company. Dogs at my house can be on the furniture or the bed, or crated as you desire. I know what it is like to leave your baby, so I am happy to care for them in any way you'd like. I can do a 25-30 min walk with them in my neighborhood, and or I can let them run in the yard with a ball or a frisbee. You let me know! If you need me to come to you, no problem. I can come check on them, walk them, play with them, or whatever you need!
About: I’ve been helping care for pets my whole life! For family, friends, and neighbors. I’ve helped to care for anxious pets, reactive pets, and senior pets. I’m available for overnights on the weekends, walks throughout the week, and any pet care in the summer! I teach during the school year :) I treat pets like family! My two dogs are spoiled & well loved. I would treat your pets the same & would be happy to chat about what your pet care expectations look like :)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
