Camille was willing to do a meet and greet before our first booking and was great! She was professional, on time, and very easy to talk to. She is quick to respond to messages/requests and communicated on the day of the scheduled booking. My dog absolutely loves her and we will definitely be booking with her again!

About: Growing up around a large quantity of dogs taught me very quickly what they need. I have never not had a dog or cat in my life, and I understand that pets are family. I already go on daily walks and am used to feeding my dog so the needs of other pets would fit very easily into my life. I have one very friendly dog, a fenced yard, and extra leashes/ a crate if needed. I live near parks and in a very walkable area so your pup will get plenty of exercise!

Morgan is great with our Gus! He is shy around other people and we wanted him to be more comfortable around other people--so we thought a dog walker was a good idea. Morgan is gentle and patient ith him. She's only been our dog walker for a short time, but when we say "Morgan's coming today" his head snaps towards the door in anticipation of her coming. We highly recommend her.

About: I have taken care of just about every type of animal since I was young (dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, hedgehogs, gerbils, snakes, etc.) I've trained and raised several puppies and kittens. The majority of the animals in my life were adult animals and if they were family pets, they stayed with us until it was time to cross the rainbow bridge so I also have a fair amount of experience with senior care as well. I grew up with no less than 4 animals in the house at all times, so I'm very good with multiple-pet households, but I currently live in a household with only one dog, so I am also comfortable doting on just one at a time :) I am currently available 24/7 and this is my primary career! I am happy to care for your fuzzy friends and family any time of day or night, their set schedule becomes my own! :3 I really believe every pet is different and taking into account their personality, energy, as well as their history or needs is very important. I like to give pets loads of attention if they are the type that likes attention, or I'm happy to just sit and read a book with them if they are more the sleepy type. I don't believe in leaving dogs in yards unattended, and I am a very communicative person-- I am not afraid to ask questions or clarify things I may not be sure of.

About: Hi, I’m Nyomi! I’m 18 years old and proudly a cat mom and dog step-mom, so animals are a huge part of my everyday life. I’ve been caring for pets for several years feeding, grooming, playing, walking, and making sure they feel loved and safe. I’m super patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy bonding with animals of all kinds. I know how to read their moods, give them space when needed, and shower them with attention when they want it. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch or playtime in the yard, I’m all in. What sets me apart? I bring a calm, nurturing energy and treat every pet like they’re family. I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities, and I’m great with shy or nervous pets too. Whether you're looking for someone to care for a playful puppy or a chill senior dog, I’ve got it covered with love and care. I work 12–6 on weekdays, with every other Monday off, and I'm available mornings and evenings during the week. On weekends, I work full-time but still have flexibility early mornings or late evenings for drop-ins or walks. I love incorporating pet care into my routine and it's honestly a calming and rewarding part of my day. Whether it’s a quick visit, feeding, or a longer stay, I make time for animals because they bring me joy. When caring for pets, safety and comfort come first. I always follow the pet parent’s instructions closely from feeding schedules to behavior quirks so your pets feel secure and happy. I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment whether I’m in my home or yours. I’m respectful of your space, keep things tidy, and always check gates, leashes, and food portions to keep your furry friends safe. I treat every pet like they’re my own with love, patience, and attention to detail.

About: I’ve cared for both farm and house pets for most of my life. My dream is to have a homestead with as many animals as I can ethically care for. I’ve taught both dogs and my cat different commands and would love to learn more things to work on training in the future. I believe mental enrichment is so important to keep animals living a happy life. I’m currently a stay-at-home pet parent so my routine is quite flexible. I try not to be away from home for too long so my dog doesn’t have to be crated for prolonged periods. I am very attentive to my pets behaviors and I will be with yours too. They can’t always tell us what they are thinking or feeling so body language is very important.

About: Hi! I'm Colleen, and I know how important it is to find someone you completely trust with your dog. As a dog owner myself, I understand that pets are family, and I care for every dog as if they were my own. I have experience caring for my own dog as well as dog sitting for friends and colleagues over the years. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, sniffing every tree along the way, or simply enjoys companionship and a little extra attention, I'm happy to tailor my care to their personality and routine. I'm dependable, patient, and attentive to details. I know how important it is to follow feeding schedules and any routines that help your dog feel comfortable while you're away. I also believe communication is one of the most important parts of pet care, so I'll send regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind. My goal is simple: to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and happy while you're away. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, respectful of your home, and genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs, I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your pet. I look forward to meeting you and becoming someone you and your dog can count on! Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dependable walks, drop-in visits, and attentive care throughout the week. I enjoy being outdoors and staying active, so daily walks are something I genuinely look forward to. I understand that dogs thrive on consistency, and I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that's a morning walk, midday potty break, playtime, feeding, or simply spending quality time together, I'll make sure your pet receives the attention and care they deserve. My goal is to provide a safe, positive experience for your dog while giving you peace of mind that they're in caring, reliable hands. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and preferences, so I take the time to learn what helps them feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets in your home, I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any routines that help your dog feel at ease. I always make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure before going outside, and I prioritize safe, enjoyable walks based on your dog's age, energy level, and the weather. I respect your home as if it were my own, keeping it clean and secure while you're away. You'll also receive regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. For the safety and well-being of your pet, I do not administer medications or care for pets requiring medical treatment. My focus is providing dependable, loving care for healthy pets of any age and giving them the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that caring for animals has always been a normal part of my life. I grew up around animals and have experience caring for dogs of many ages and personalities, including energetic puppies and older dogs who need a slower pace and extra attention. I'm comfortable with the routines that come with good pet care: consistent feeding schedules, exercise, basic training reinforcement, and paying attention to changes in behavior that might mean a dog needs something. I have experience helping with puppy training basics life patience during walks, reinforcing commands, and keeping them mentally stimulated. I also understand that senior dogs sometimes need gentler exercise, more frequent bathroom breaks, and extra patience. In addition to dogs, I have experience working with animals in a farm environment, which taught me responsibility, consistency, and how important it is to pay attention to an animal's needs and body language. Because of that background, I'm calm, reliable, and comfortable around animals with different temperaments. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they're my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your animal with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. Pet care has always been a natural part of my daily life. I grew up around animals and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a slower pace and extra attention. I enjoy spending time outdoors walking dogs, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. As a college student, I plan my schedule carefully, which allows me to stay organized and consistent with feeding times, walks, and check-ins. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, and spending time with them is something I look forward to throughout the week. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I make sure pets are always supervised, comfortable, and kept in a calm environment where they feel secure. In a client's home, I carefully follow the pet's normal routine for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime so they experience as little disruption as possible. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language to make sure pets are feeling safe and happy. I respect my clients' homes and keep spaces clean, secure doors and gates, and communicate regularly with updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Lake Ketchum. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Lake Ketchum.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lake Ketchum. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
