About: I’ve had my family dog, Princess, a Pomeranian-Papillon mix, since I was four years old. I was the one who named her, and she’s been my best friend ever since. I’ve cared for her through every stage of her life, from a playful puppy to now as a senior dog, so I understand that pets have different needs as they get older. Senior pets have a special place in my heart, and I’m always happy to give them the extra patience and love they deserve. As a college student, I’m home during school breaks, which means I have a flexible schedule and lots of time to dedicate to your pet. I’m also available during holiday breaks! During the academic year, though, I’ll be inactive while I’m away at college, so I only accept bookings when I’m home. I usually only take one family’s pet(s) at a time (unless otherwise arranged), so they’ll get lots of one-on-one care and won’t have to compete for attention. I’ll stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I ask that owners provide their pet’s food, medications (if needed), favorite toys, and any other essentials. If I’m caring for a cat, I’ll also need their litter box, litter, and other supplies. Communication is really important to me. I’ll send plenty of pictures and updates, and if you’re missing your pet, I’m even happy to FaceTime so you can check in. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable while you’re apart. She’s older, independent, and usually keeps to herself, but I’ll always make thoughtful introductions and make sure everyone is comfortable. I only accept one family’s pet(s) at a time (unless otherwise arranged), so I can give them my full attention and closely monitor their interactions. I’ll carefully follow your pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and any special instructions. I’ll always make sure water is fresh, the environment is clean, and your pet feels safe and comfortable. If I ever notice anything unusual, I’ll let you know right away so you can have peace of mind.

About: I am an experienced dog watcher, I worked in a vet hospital as a kennel tech and managed puppy playgroups with 50 plus dogs. As well as managed the boarding and grooming stations for almost 2 years. My background is in Biology I got my B.S in 2015 and my Bachelors in Nursing in 2019. I have a large fenced in back yard with a little pool for the dogs. Boarding will be inside. I have an in-home camera system and 4 separate boarding rooms. If you prefer, I can come to you! I have excellent references and can even provide leash training for those excited pups. I volunteer with the SPCA, NOLA and Jefferson Parish. I cant wait to meet your pup or cats, lets not forget the kitties!! Talk soon! I’m currently working from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet. We’re going to have a great time and will be able to meet any special needs your pet may require to feel comfortable and taken care of while you’re away. About: I love animals and have had pets since I was a little girl! I have a mini golden doodle and a border collie mix now. They are my best friends. I’d love to meet and hang out with your pets and love on them like their my own!🐶 I work 2-3 days a week. But only for 5-6 hours a day. I can be free from work if needed to watch your pet! I have a fenced in yard and have a back yard to let your dogs run free. I have plenty of toys to play with and lots of love to give! I also have a walking trail close by that I take my dogs on regularly. I have a doggy door that your dogs can go in and out as well.

“My dog is actually ready to pack her bags and leave us to go live with Emily now! Sable needed to be watched during an evening event due to her separation anxiety, and she was not only happy to go to Emily’s house after we had a meet and greet the week before, but she also was completely comfortable and not even excessively eager to go home when we picked her up. Sable had a great time, and Emily sent many pictures documenting Sable’s day with her, as well as updates on how things were going. I have over a decade of experience working in the veterinary industry, so, unfortunately, I have seen what can happen to pets left with the wrong caretakers, and I’m very cautious with whom I entrust my pets’ care to due to this potential. I would trust Emily with any of my four dogs, and I am so glad she agreed to meet with me and watch Sable! Sable is happy to have some new friends built in with Emily’s own pack of 5 star canine employees (who were happy to show Sable the ropes, but also would have been content to take the day off and stay in their own spaces if Sable didn’t like or want to be around other dogs), and I am happy to have peace of mind that my dogs will be looked after with the same level of attention I would provide. Oh, and have I mentioned Emily’s yard and home? A paradise for pups and people alike with shade being provided throughout the day from oak trees and ramped decking (especially great for pups that can’t do stairs!), so the heat that may keep my crew indoors during certain times of the day at home is miraculously manageable at Emily’s house! This is perfect for those hounds that would rather spend more time outside, but the inside of Emily’s home is just as inviting with many comfy spaces set up for the pups to rest or play in a controlled climate. I hear guests are even allowed on the furniture! ☺️🥰”

About: Patience and empathy are a major part of my approach to animals in general. I have realized that these beautiful creatures respond well to me because my love does not come with any strings. I have a Jack Russell Terrier named Kameha and a cat named Sushi. They are my world. Sushi's mother was a stray cat and not in good shape. I helped her heal and she ended having Sushi and several other kittens. Kameha was rescued from a bad home and she had worms as a puppy. Now she is full of life.
