About: I've been around dogs, especially large dogs (Newfoundlands, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Mixbreeds) all my life, and started watching friends', neighbors', and colleagues' dogs while earning my B.A. several years ago. I specialized, then and now, in "problem dogs," usually rescues who needed special care because of past traumas, reactivity, or health issues. I also love taking care of cats, and have some experience with caring for rabbits, ferrets, rats, and hamsters. Although I don't have much experience with reptiles or birds, I'm always happy to learn! I can stay 24/7 with your pets for 1-3 days, or, if they are crate-trained or can be left for short periods, can watch them for a few weeks at a time. While I unfortunately can't take your pets home with me, I am more than happy to take them on park adventures outside of town, in town, or, if you prefer, walks around their own neighborhood. If you have a fenced-in yard or run, I can exercise your dog there, or take them for leashed walks elsewhere; I do not walk dogs off-leash unless the area is completely fenced-in. I also exercise cats by owner preference, but am more comfortable caring for cats indoors, when possible. I can't wait to meet your pets!

About: I have always had dogs in my life as pets. I have been house sitting for 10 years. My house sitting clients rely on me to exercise their dogs as well as feed and medicate their dogs. I have experience with all sizes and many breeds. I am currently working part time at a dog boarding/daycare/grooming facility and have lots of time in the evenings and afternoons for walks or drop in visits most days of the week. If you are interested in house sitting I work part time from 6:30am-11am everyday except Fridays. I would be in the home full time with your pet except for those few hours each morning. I will not be offering boarding in my home but I take pride in taking care of your pets in their own homes. I follow all instructions and make sure I’m very clear on parents wishes and routines. Additionally, I will love and care for your dogs (or cats) like they're one of my own :) I am fully available and fully committed to caring for your pets regardless of the time of day. Please contact a day in advanced for an AM scheduling request. I currently live in an apartment so I cannot house more than the two cats that I currently have. However, I will make sure to follow the schedule that you already have for your animals and will remain attentive to them and provide the quality care that they deserve :)

I was only around 12 years old but very mature for my age. A lot of the times I would try and save animals we found on the road whether it was a dog, cat, or turtle. At this time I only have a cat who’s around 2 years old, I love him to death but nothing beats the bond between you and a dog. I love walking as I’m very into fitness so long walks or even runs would be a piece of cake for me. Hopefully I can be a part of yours and your furry friends lives. I am currently home from college and have two not very demanding jobs. I am available most night and evenings! I am gone the occasional weekend but can work most. If my clients need me to take care of their pets in their homes I will always respect their space and follow their instructions. You won’t have to worry about the safety of your pet and especially your home when it’s in my hands.
