About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

She also worked with me as my family trip had gotten derailed when our car broke down and was willing to watch him for a bit longer as we figured out how to get home. About: Lifetime pet owners of cats and dogs alike, Maeve and Jason have shared decades of pet-sitting duties for friends and family and all that entails from crate training to medication administration. We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. About: I have taken care of many different dogs and cats for family and friends. I always had pets growing up and I currently have 3 dogs of my own. I’m currently working part-time teaching dance to the youth between 4-9pm. This leaves my whole morning/afternoon open. About: I have had 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own one was 14, one was 5 and the other is 1 and then my cats are 6 and the other is 4 months old I have also taken care of my grandparents dog who is 7 and I'm trained on CPR for all animals of all ages I am currently working part time as a server in Mishawaka but I am mostly available all day unless I am at work and when I am at work my mom watches my fur babys and can check on ones that I am sitting I will feed them, water them, walk them change the litter box, and love on them, and make sure they don't destroy things in the house.

I adore all dogs and love to learn their different personalities. I never back away from a challenging behavior because I know alot of dogs have experienced trauma just like alot of people. I work full and my schedule can change week to week but my boss try's to keep it consistent. I typically work 7-6 monday through Wednesday 8-4 on Friday's. Anytime this changes I will immediately contact you and work something else out if it conflicts with specific requested times (such as dog walking). I walk my husky each morning before work regardless of what time I go in so you can be sure I will MAKE the time if I have to. :) I will follow any and all rules/schedules you have for your dog. I will also assist with training if asked. If I am house sitting I will do my utmost to keep the house and its schedule the same as you do when you are home. I am happy to train, play, or just hang out with your doggy pal.

I was lucky & got to be there when my former fur baby was born. Her mom let me massage her hips & tummy while in labor. It was her 1st litter & she was awesome!! She let me handle all 9 of the babies after she was done delivering so we could transfer all them to a clean bed & to help rotate at feeding time to ensure they all ate. All 9 survived & were healthy!! I was also a "doula" for my mom's cats pregnancy & she let me massage her tummy & handle her babies right away also. It's a blessing to see & be a part of.
