“I think that Maggie and Luddy had a great stay. It was so nice to have the photos of them enjoying their time with Julie and Joe. They seemed to be quite comfortable in their new surroundings by the time I picked them up the next day. In the past, Luddy had had a sitter at the house, but this was Maggie's (10-month-old puppy) first experience being away from home overnight. Since I presently do not have a fenced yard, it was great for them to have access to a yard for play without having to be leashed. About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

About: Lifetime pet owners of cats and dogs alike, Maeve and Jason have shared decades of pet-sitting duties for friends and family and all that entails from crate training to medication administration. We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

I’m currently working part-time teaching dance to the youth between 4-9pm. This leaves my whole morning/afternoon open. I do have weekend business trips here and there but most weekends are available. I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. About: I’ve been around cats and dogs with health problems all my life. I also worked at a cat cafe with all ages and sizes of cats. I’m very comfortable with all kinds of dogs as well. I’d love to care for your fur babies as much as you need! Need someone to stop by and take your pup for a walk? I’ll be there! Need someone to feed your kitty? I’m on my way! I spend my time caring for your animals. They are my number one priority! I am good at giving medications and caring for nervous animals.
About: Hello, I'm a big animal lover. Life is always better with furry friends! I have pretty much always had a dog most of my life & always consider them family. I was lucky & got to be there when my former fur baby was born. Her mom let me massage her hips & tummy while in labor. It was her 1st litter & she was awesome!! She let me handle all 9 of the babies after she was done delivering so we could transfer all them to a clean bed & to help rotate at feeding time to ensure they all ate. All 9 survived & were healthy!! I was also a "doula" for my mom's cats pregnancy & she let me massage her tummy & handle her babies right away also. It's a blessing to see & be a part of. I would love to provide a safe and comfortable care for your pet while you are away. I used to have birds, cats, fish, been around reptiles & snakes, turtles, I worked at an eagle rapture center in Alaska which is where I'm from. I have a strong belief to only work in something you love so here I am. :-) Your pet will receive the same love & attention as if they were my own & provide plenty of pictures. Before I became a provider for Rover I used the service a few times myself & was very appreciative when I was given daily updates & pictures & want to provide the same for others. “I think that Maggie and Luddy had a great stay. It was so nice to have the photos of them enjoying their time with Julie and Joe. They seemed to be quite comfortable in their new surroundings by the time I picked them up the next day. In the past, Luddy had had a sitter at the house, but this was Maggie's (10-month-old puppy) first experience being away from home overnight. Since I presently do not have a fenced yard, it was great for them to have access to a yard for play without having to be leashed. Julie and Joe seem to truly enjoy having dogs visit with them, and they take good care of them and help them to feel at home. I am so grateful.”
