About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

About: I’ve owned large dogs consistently for the last 20 years. I’m ready to give snuggles to dogs of all sizes, though! Kids are back in school so I have lots of time on my hands. I’m ready to spread the love! I’m currently looking for some supplemental income doing something fun and rewarding while maintaining the flexibility I need for my kids and their schedule. I love the idea of borrowing someone else’s pup for a little bit so they don’t have to be lonely all day. I have been home since my youngest was born 9 years ago, so I have plenty of time on my hands during the days. We have a big fenced yard, and live on a quiet street with little traffic for walks. I don’t really have a lot of other things going on during the day, so frequent potty breaks are no issue.

Going for drives, to dog parks, or on play dates is something I believe is vital to a happy and healthy dog. I have had many pets of my own and even trained dogs for a few years now on top of my extensive pet sitting experience. Schedules and consistency are key elements when working with animals, so getting to know your animal is very important to me, along with learning the specifics of what owners know their pets need. I am capable of handling medications and some of the more high maintenance or challenging animals. My schedule is very flexible day to day, so your pets will never been alone for more than 6 hours in my care at any given time. You know the best way to keep your pets safe in the times they are left alone or while traveling so I will always follow any instructions you offer to be sure your pet is being cared for responsibly and effectively.

As a resident of Northern Indiana, I have access to many free public parks and walking trails that offer plenty of exercise and entertainment. In my home, pets have a safe, structured environment with a fenced yard and two friendly dogs for companionship if they love meeting new friends. I follow each pet’s routine closely, provide calm, attentive handling, and ensure they feel secure. In a client’s home, I respect their space, maintain consistency with feeding, exercise, and training preferences, and keep communication open so owners always know how their pet is doing.
