I am an experienced professional dog handler and trainer with space in my home to care for your family members who cannot accompany you while you're away. I am currently work a hybrid work schedule (some days I work from home, other days I am in the office); I have 5 years experience in a kennel environment and working with working/professional dogs, as well as dogs with behavioral issues; and training/showing/trialing my own companions - I have experience and titles with my dogs in obedience, agility, and nosework in both AKC and UKC and other venues. I focus on force-free training methods, while still making sure to ensure rules and boundaries in my household. As much as I love training, training is not offered as part of your stay. I currently work from home, and am able to let out frequently. Your pets will be treated like my own while they stay with me. I have a fenced in yard and a playful pup who loves to meet new friends! About: Since I was 10 I've taken care of dogs of all sizes and enjoyed it mainly larger dogs since they are easier to handle. I'm available anytime past 12pm and can watch your dog for as long as needed. Give me a call anytime and we'll take good care of your dog. About: Your home is my base. Professional housesitter, LGBT+ND Friendly. My homebody routine (WFH yogi) mean tons of time with your pet. I'm very tidy, and a good fit for clean nonsmoking homes. Over 200+ nights per year petsitting! Your place is my home, not just short visits. I also enjoy multiple pet households of 2, 3, 4 or more! I am patient with anxiety, special needs, medication, and puppies. I love written instructions, and take medication seriously. My day is typically yoga, meditation, movie nights with your pets, two hours WFH, and walks or yard time. I also offer daytime care in your home via the Housesitting tab (3 hours to 10 hours+) even if you don't need overnight. You can also book Drop Ins of 30 mins to an hour, or multiple hours. I usually send 2ish updates with photos per day, but if you'd like more or less, let me know. I'm mature, sober, nonsmoking; I don't vape or use drugs, not even caffeine. About: My first dog is Dakota, but he has taught me a ton since I've had him. I have been around dogs and cats, and other animals since I was a young child. Between my grandparents, and friends and family's animals, I have always been around pets. My family always owned cats, and when I moved out I decided that I wanted a dog. I currently work from home most of days of the week (Tues-Fri), and figured that someone who is going to work might not want to leave their dog home alone all day. I figured that since I am home, I could provide dog owners with another local option for doggy daycare. I have a fenced in yard and I have my own dog who is very friendly. About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.
