During the school year, I continue offering pet care services, but I am unavailable during the school day while teaching. However, I am available before and after school, evenings, weekends, holidays, and for overnight stays. I enjoy staying active with my own dogs through activities like agility, scent work, Fast CAT, and dock diving, so caring for pets fits naturally into my lifestyle. I understand how important routines are for animals and will work to keep your pet's schedule as consistent as possible while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay on their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, exercise, and household routines. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, keep pets on leash during walks unless otherwise instructed in a safe enclosed area, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. About: I am a certified vet assistant and have cared for 10+ animals in adult lifetime including friends and family. I’ve cared for a dog with severe epilepsy, and a dog with bone cancer. I also care for two senior dogs now along with training a new puppy. I walk my young lab puppy everyday for at least a mile and also play ball in the yard. Also my two senior dogs get very short walks to keep them active. I am a stay at home mom and have a very flexible schedule to walk dogs and care for them. About: I volunteer at a local pet shelter while at college! I helped walk/feed and did daily visits. I helped out with puppies to senior dogs. Whenever you need a dog sitter or walker I would love to help out anytime. I love pets and love helping people out. I would love to get to know you and your animals!
