About: Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I am a local high school teacher enjoying summer break and looking to spend my extra time caring for animals. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently care for three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a blue tongue skink, and I have experience with many other types of pets as well. My dogs actively compete in agility, scent work, Fast CAT, and dock diving, so I am comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I currently care for three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, a snake, and a blue tongue skink, so feeding, exercise, cleaning, and spending quality time with animals are part of every day. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule as a teacher on break, which allows me to provide visits throughout the day, walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. During the school year, I continue offering pet care services, but I am unavailable during the school day while teaching. However, I am available before and after school, evenings, weekends, holidays, and for overnight stays. I enjoy staying active with my own dogs through activities like agility, scent work, Fast CAT, and dock diving, so caring for pets fits naturally into my lifestyle. I understand how important routines are for animals and will work to keep your pet's schedule as consistent as possible while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay on their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, exercise, and household routines. I take time to get to know each pet's personality and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. Safety is always a priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, keep pets on leash during walks unless otherwise instructed in a safe enclosed area, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I am comfortable caring for multiple pets and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and other small animals. I also know how important communication is for pet owners. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are being well cared for while you're away. As a pet owner myself, I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to provide dependable, loving care that keeps them happy, comfortable, and safe.

About: I am a certified vet assistant and have cared for 10+ animals in adult lifetime including friends and family. I’ve cared for a dog with severe epilepsy, and a dog with bone cancer. I also care for two senior dogs now along with training a new puppy. I walk my young lab puppy everyday for at least a mile and also play ball in the yard. Also my two senior dogs get very short walks to keep them active. I am a stay at home mom and have a very flexible schedule to walk dogs and care for them. I’m experienced in giving medicine and know how important sticking to a schedule is.

About: I have been a pet owner my whole life, some cats, mostly dogs. I especially enjoy walking dogs! I volunteer at an alpaca farm for fun, and I have dog kennel and veterinary receptionist experience. I pet sit for family members who have both dogs and cats. I take animal care seriously and will do my best to keep your pet safe and comfortable. I work a part-time job Monday through Friday. My afternoons, evenings and weekends are flexible, especially over the summer. I walk my own dog twice a day. My dog is rather anti-social, so I prefer not to bring pets to my home. I can offer home visits, 2-3 visits per day, depending on your pet's needs. As I mentioned earlier, I love walking dogs and am happy to offer that service to you!

About: I know just how difficult it can be to be away and to find someone trustworthy to care for your beloved pets; especially those with medical and unique needs. That’s why I’m here: to make that time away as worry free and easy as possible! Friends aren’t always around to help out, and no one likes to stick their pups in a kennel. That’s what inspired me to become a sitter! I have a huge passion for making sure that pets are happy and healthy! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that the cornerstone of any good stay is communication. For me, good communication begins before your pet comes under my care, as I love to get as much information about you and your pet right off the bat! Getting a good idea about your care expectations is just as important as learning about what makes your pup tick. With that information in mind, I like to start thinking as early as possible about what a dream stay would be! During the stay, I like to send regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how well your pet is doing while you’re away. In addition to pictures, I like to send detailed information on anything you need to feel in the loop—from behaviors to meals to exercise times. Going the extra mile is just what I do best! *For house pet sitting, I am a currently working in Pennsylvania and able to travel with my dog, who is dog/cat tolerant & house trained, to you for 2-3 day weekend stays within 5 hours of Lancaster,PA.

As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.
