About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. He is currently being leash trained and we’re working on anxiety associated with his crate. I have a PRN position at a children’s hospital, so I have plenty of time to check in on your baby/babies. I work a short Monday shift from 12-4PM. I have a hybrid pharmacy schedule, so I am able to attend classes from wherever I am. I care for all pets with love and respect. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest on their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. I believe in gentle correction or making an activity more interesting with treats or a favorite toy when a pet is acting up or disinterested.

About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. As an adult I opted for the ease of a cat companion. So I have never lived in a house without at least a dog or a cat. I have provided multiple pet services for friends, neighbors, and aquaintances including pet sitting, dog walking, drop-ins, and even picking up dog poo. I have experience in medication and emergency vet visits. I work mostly remote and some days go out on work appointments. Due to Arizona heat I can do walks from 7-9 AM and 6-8 PM. Drop-ins, I can do 7-10 and 3-9. I will speak to you about your pets normal day of activities. I follow the set feeding schedule and serve only owner approved pet food.

I will pay special attention to their preferences (and yours) for all drop-ins, day care needs, and walks, and will be sure your pups are as happy as they can be! I have special experience with Beagles, Pitties, German Shepherds, sighthounds in general, and herding dogs such as Border Collies, but love all breeds and sizes. I am also very flexible and understanding of the modern schedule, so if you need to cancel, it's no worries! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am able to work around your schedule and make sure your pup has the attention they deserve. My backyard is fenced, turfed, completely shaded, and has a mister fan. I also have a dog door and the back gate is always closed and locked. Inside is all tile and dogs are allowed up on the couch if they are allowed at home.

While I spent the last several years abroad, I haven't owned a dog recently, although I continue to stay involved with animals through occasional volunteer work at local animal shelters.
