About: I love all animals and have a pretty broad experience caring for many types including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, rodents, and fish. Most of this experience has come from caring for my own animals and either my friends or foster animals, and not as a profession. I am most experienced with cats, as I grew up with them all my life. I was a foster care volunteer for several years in Virginia before moving out here and got the opportunity to help so many cats and dogs of all ages from neonatal to senile care. Although I am not taking in neonates at the moment, I can take on any babies that are already weaned! I am a recent graduate and taking a break before continuing my education, so my schedule is very open right now! I'm a very early riser (5am) so I'm happy to do any early check-ins with your animals. I want to reassure that I am not doing this to simply do the minimum for your pet and then leave. I get so much joy from animals, and each visit will be packed with genuine love and care for your pet! I love going on hikes and will gladly take your dog(s) with me for some outside fun if that's their speed. I'll keep them entertained and mentally stimulated with some games and tricks, and of course offer all the love and pets. Being a cat owner my whole life, I am very comfortable with all types of cats, and warm up to them easily. If they're the playful type I can play with a wand, string, mouse, or any toy they have. And if they're the lazy types, we can just relax together! I don't mind cats that are a (bit) less friendly. I'm not going to take care of ferals from Rover, but I am very comfortable with navigating and caring for angrier kitties.

Elise is a Fantastic friend to my lil pup! She is very responsible & reliable. I never have to worry when I’m gone that he is well taken care of. She takes the best pics of all their activities, and the narratives of their adventures always make me smile! After weeding through a few Rovers that didn’t work out, I’m so happy we found Elise. 🐾

About: I have lived with animals my whole life. Because I move a lot, I do not own a pet of my own, but I watch and care for my friends' and roommates' pets as much as I can so I can get my fix. I understand the importance of trust and comfort when leaving your pet with someone. My active lifestyle allows me to keep dogs engaged with exercise, and my calm nature helps soothe more anxious or shy pets. I work during the week, and I will mainly be available to petsit during weekends: Friday night, Saturdays, and Sundays. I do occasionally work from home and can watch your fur babies on a case by case basis on weekdays! I love running, hiking, and movement. If comfortable, I would love to hike with your pup! Additionally, I am an early riser, and I can do early. morning walks or drop ins (5:00 AM-7:00 AM) everyday. For dogs, I love incorporating activities like walks, runs, and hikes into our day, providing them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I'm always mindful of their safety, keeping an eye on weather conditions and ensuring they have access to fresh water and shade. With cats, I focus on maintaining their normal routines and giving them plenty of love and attention. Whether it's playtime with their favorite toys, brushing sessions, or just curling up for some quiet time, I make sure they feel secure and happy. In both settings, I keep communication open with the pet owners, sending updates and photos so they know their furry family members are in good hands.

I can’t begin to explain how nice it is to have found a dog sitter I trust. Kelly was professional and adhered to all of my specific requirements I have for my pups- she was communicative (big need for me) and safe. I sometimes have a stray dogs in the neighborhood and need her to stay alert and go in the opposite direction or even pick up my dog if safety becomes an issue. She alerted me of the stray and prioritized my dog’s safety. Amazing!

About: Hi my name is Rachel, I love dogs, long walks on the beach and long walks on the beach with dogs! I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs, both my family’s dog and those of friends. I know that each furry friend is unique and requires patience, attention and most importantly— love! Luckily, I have a lot of that to give. I will make sure that your pup feels safe, cherished and gets plenty of belly rubs. I’m incredibly reliable and am willing to work around your schedule to make sure your dog is taken care of, goes on walks and gets lots of play time! Not only will I go out of my way to make sure your furry friend gets the attention it needs, but I’ll also make sure to be easily accessible to you, give you updates on your pup and send plenty of cute puppy pics to give you peace of mind! Pet care is naturally part of my daily routine! I work from home full-time and have two cats of my own, so I’m used to balancing my workday around feeding, playtime & plenty of attention for furry friends. Because I can work from anywhere, I’m also able to stay at a client’s home and keep their pets company throughout the day, whether that means walks, cuddles or simply making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own! At home, my two cats are spoiled with love, playtime & a consistent routine that keeps them happy and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual schedule so they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. I also make sure to send plenty of updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands!

About: What sets me apart is the bridge between my formal education and a decade of hands-on care. With a Bachelor’s degree focused on Animal Studies and a background in pre-veterinary tracks, I bring a clinical eye to every stay. I am trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or movement that others might miss. Since 2014, I’ve managed a diverse "home zoo," including: Dogs: Experience with multiple breeds, energy levels, and sizes. Cats: Kitty care starting with my first rescue over 10 years ago. Small Animals: Specialized knowledge in bunny care, understanding their unique dietary needs and fragile temperaments. Special Skills. Senior & Medical Watch: My pre-vet background makes me comfortable monitoring health stats and following strict medication schedules. Multi-Species Households: I’m an expert at managing the dynamics of a home with different types of pets. Puppy & Kitten Basics: I understand the developmental stages of young pets and the patience required for consistent routine-building. I treat every "little furry guy" with the same scientific care and personal affection I give my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am open to a high volume of bookings to meet as many new furry friends as possible! My goal is to provide consistent, reliable care during standard work weeks (Monday–Friday) and weekend evenings. Because I manage my own multi-pet household, I am already in 'pet mode' 24/7 and can easily integrate your pet’s specific routine into my daily life. I prioritize a 'safety-first' environment by conducting thorough home checks and maintaining strict supervision during outdoor play. I follow your pet's established routine to the letter to reduce stress and ensure they feel secure. I am highly observant of behavioral cues and health signs, providing you with frequent updates so you can have total peace of mind while you’re away."

About: Dogs are a girls best friend! The most difficult things to do is leave your pets. And when we do leave, we worry no matter what! The absence of a companion/owner can never be fulfilled but I assure you, your babies will be treated as kings/queens! No more stress, you can now enjoy your vacation! I am a doggie lover/owner/foster mom/volunteer, with 3 babies of my own; 2 Boxers and a Pitbull. I have also been with the Boxer Luv Rescue for 4 years; training, fostering & kennels. In addition, I have taken a number of training courses through K9 Partnership to become a certified dog handler in hopes to become a certified dog training within the near future. Big, small, I do it all! That said.... Feel free to request additional information on my end. You may contact me via email and/or cell phone at any time. Thank you :) Ashley ***RESCUE DOGS ROCK!!!*** Foster parent, certified dog handler (through K9 Partnerships), numerous training courses with kennel babies and foster babies. Kennel volunteer for Boxer Luv. Why I love dog sitting I have always been an animal lover. I grew up with black labrador retrievers and currently have 3 dogs and foster for the Boxer Luv Rescue in Phoenix. My experience administering medication Yes, not a problem at all. I typically use peanut butter or bread to administer. I work in office three days a week and home the other four days of the week. The babies always have my attention. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was born! We have never had less than 5 pets in the house. I grew up dog and cat sitting and am comfortable dealing with challenging pets. I have been a walker on here for over a year now and love meeting your sweet pets. I am currently attending naturopathic medical school in Tempe. I have early morning availability as well as sporadically through the afternoons and evenings. I should be able to work around just about any schedule. I am also a slow but passionate runner and am happy to include runs as well :) I have a lot of experience dealing with difficult pets. I got a very quick reply to my request, than a meet and greet that went very well (my kind of shy little dog took right to him), friendly service, and great communication! He let me know when he was arriving and departing for the dog walk visit, and sent me a photo. I will happily request Kaiser again if needed, and I would recommend him to others.

The Rover team is available 24/7, and your dog walker has access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals. In the rare event of any issues during a booking, rest easy knowing your dog is covered by the Rover Guarantee reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care.

Note: If your dog walker requested to cancel this booking, then they need to cancel from their account. Please contact them via Rover Messages.

We get it—sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel your dog walking service. You can cancel an upcoming booking directly from the Rover app or your computer, in accordance with your dog walker’s cancellation policy.
