“Carrington was absolutely fantastic with our two babies. She gained our cat’s love easily which is a feat because he never comes out from the bed room when strangers are over! She also took special care of our lonely golden, and made him feel extra loved while we were gone. Her updates were phenomenal as well! It really helped put me at ease with leaving my fur babies. We have another trip coming up at the end of the year and I know our babies are hoping Carrington can watch them again! ♥️”

“Christina was amazing! She was understanding and patient with my anxious pup, and capable of handling my dog-reactive one. I always worry that my roughhousing, loud dogs will be too intense for people, but Christina's experience proved to be a perfect fit! I would definitely recommend her as a sitter :)”

“Tara is absolutely amazing. I had to be away over night on short notice. She met me the same day explained to her what my pups needed. She is friendly and respectful. Tara took great care of my pups giving them love and attention. I will definitely be using her services going forward. Thank you Tara!”

“Kay is wonderful! Super communicative, kind, and trustworthy. Best compliment for a pet sitter is when the pet is barely excited to see their owner when they return because they were so well loved, and my cat had obviously been given great care and attention from Kay and was totally normal and regulated when we got home. Thanks so much for everything, Kay!!! Toaster and we appreciate you!!”

“Sierra and Seth, both watched our giant dogs today! They did several drop-ins and made sure the dogs needs were very well met at each one. They are also very communicative, which was so important because we have a large dog with reactivity issues and behaviors. Sierra and Seth were very responsive to our dog's needs, and willing to adjust and adapt when our reactive dog needed different kinds of support. We would love for them to sit for us again and their help was irreplaceable!”
“Great communication and very attentive to my cats needs! I can tell she was pampered because she now expects a full body massage after I give her dinner. 😆 Thanks again Mooney!”

I’m open any day of the week at any times and I’m able to come house sit. Most animals are comfortable in their own home so whatever works best for them. I will ensure a safe environment for your pet whether that be crating your pet, keeping a close eye on your pet, and providing them play as a healthy distraction as you arrive.

About: I’ve always been an animal enthusiast growing up in the country I did whatever I could to be around animals constantly. In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. No matter what kind of care your pet needs I will do my best to ensure they receive the love, respect, and attention they deserve. I look forward to helping you and your furry (and maybe scaly) family members! I'm avaliable for drop-ins, boarding, and walking M-F after 2:30 PM! I can also do breakfast drop-ins during the week between 5:00-5:30 AM, or earlier if need be. I'm open and available most weekends for all pet care, I keep my schedule updated 3 months out! If you want to book further than 3 months just send me a message and I'm happy to work with you! My top priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe. Each visit, walk, or stay is individual and entirely customizable for your pet. To ensure your pet receives the best care I require an initial meet and greet, or phone call so we can discuss what the ideal care looks like. I prioritize customizable care, communication, and enrichment to make sure your pet has the best 'staycation' ever!
“We had a need of an emergency change in sitters while we were out of town (super stressful!) and Kevin was able to save the day! Amazing communication, great updates and photos, and truly went above and beyond in caring for our pup with walks and cuddles. Very thankful for the care and service provided by Kevin!”

About: I have had a variety of animals always in my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and rodents. (All of which I've had at some point) I have also worked for a rescue charity for 7+ years which resulted in having learned basic and emergency care, as well as administration of medication. I am retired and looking to fill my time with love and cuddles. I have always enjoyed caring for the variety of animals I have and have had. I love learning all the cute special quirks and loves of every animal I interact with. I am very respectful of other people's space and items - my focus is on the animals in my charge. I can feed, walk, play and generally be a companion to any animal. I also respect the home and treat it even better than my own, ensuring that I leave the home as I found it.
About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my experience, versatility, and special skills. Not only do I currently dog sit and house sit for three families on an as-needed basis, but I also bring a wealth of experience in handling dogs of all ages and needs. I’m skilled at training puppies, which includes basic obedience and socialization techniques. Additionally, I’m comfortable with senior dogs, providing them with extra care and attention to meet their specific health and mobility needs. My commitment to understanding each dog’s unique personality and routine ensures they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you're away. I currently work full-time in a community-based job where I have the flexibility to create my own schedule. I like to tailor my schedule around my needs for the week, with weekends being when I have the most availability. My current families prefer that I stay in their home, and I’m open to doing the same with other families as well When caring for pets in my client's home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions or routines the family has established. I ensure pets are fed on time, given fresh water, and get the appropriate amount of exercise and attention. I also monitor their health, administer any needed medications, and keep the environment safe and clean. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
