About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I started pet sitting for my neighbors about five years ago, and since then have expanded my clientele to all over my area. I have watched dogs and cats of many breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I have a big focus on giving enrichment and plenty of attention for all pets I take care of. Even just the lazier ones who like someone to sit for a while. I love spending time with animals and I’m so grateful for any opportunity to take care of someone else’s! I am flexible and will work with your animals specific needs! I am a college nursing student! My last final exam is May 3rd. After that I will be home for the summer with a completely open and flexible schedule! I can do any day, any time! I have my own car and will always have reliable transportation to your home. I always follow exact regiment’s my clients provide, making sure the pets get adequate breaks and attention. I focus and realize each pet have different needs and will adapt to whatever works best for the pet and family.

“She is reliable and always shows up on time. And Taresse even brought in my big heavy packages from the front step which was not expected at all but very appreciated!!”

About: Hi there! I’m Rowyn, and I have wide availability this summer. I’d be thrilled to care for your pets and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’ve spent years looking after the beloved pets of friends, neighbors, and family, and I always treat every animal like they’re my own. At home, I currently have two cats, three fish, and a crested gecko. I also have experience with hedgehogs, mice, and bunnies. My skills include administering medication to both cats and dogs, maintaining good hygiene (like grooming and other cleanups), and most importantly providing consistent, attentive companionship. I genuinely love animals and always have fun playing with pets of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk or your cat just wants a cozy lap and some gentle pets, I’m here to help. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or we can schedule a meet and greet to make sure it’s a great fit. Looking forward to meeting your furry family members! Schedule: As a college student, my summer is wide open. I can do weekends as well so I should be able to fit around any schedule you require! For drop-in visits I will give your pet(s) food and water, clean litter boxes and handle any messes your pet makes. I will also pet and play with them and just generally check up on them to make sure they're doing okay along with any special needs and attention your pet may require. I can also water house plants if you need me to.

About: I was born into a house of at least a dozen dogs and cats not to mention the farm animals. I have never lived without animals and since 2022 I volunteered then worked at CHN until its physical location closed due to financial problems. During my time at CHN I have worked with dogs of all kinds, all sizes and all temperaments. The best feeling for me has been earning the trust of dogs who were labeled dangerous, a bite risk, and or otherwise untouchable. I take my dog for a walk after going pee in the morning and then if I’m home I spend as much of the day with her as possible. If I’m at school or somewhere that doesn’t allow dogs I make sure to give her something to chew on while I’m out and take her into the yard when I get back before cuddle time. This question largely depends on the pet and the environment… for instance, some of the shelter dogs would relax a considerable amount if I let them free roam with me while I did chores, whereas other dogs were too much of a flight risk or, were recovering from something and couldn’t free roam. In general I try to keep the stress level of whatever animal I’m working with as low as possible. If that means giving them their space and pretending they don’t exist, then that’s what I do if it means sitting on the floor and waiting an hour for them to curl up next to me so be it, if they need near constant petting and reassurance I am here. Speaking with people who interact with and know the animal the most is where I base most of how I interact with an animal beyond that I mostly read body language. Sometimes there are things I have to do, like give medication, that the animal does not appreciate but I try my best to make it as hassle free as possible, and apologize/make it up to them afterwards.

“Rowyn has been taking care of my cat and lizard regularly for about a year now. My cat can be a bit crazy. He has limitless energy and likes to attack hands and feet, but she handles it great and even takes him for walks sometimes. My lizard is a crested gecko and is typically less work, but I often have very specific instructions which she follows to a tee. She is also awesome about letting me know if anything seems off with either animal and goes the extra mile to make sure they're healthy and happy when I get back. She sends me great pictures, so I can see how they're doing. Rowyn is always my first choice of pet sitter and my animals love her!
