About: One of my biggest passions is saving animals lives through fostering. My fostering experience has provided me many skills necessary to care for animals with varying needs, including young kittens, diabetic cats, XXS chihuahuas, and XXL breed dogs. Due to my experience in healthcare, I've provided many sub-cutaneous injections for diabetes maintenance and drug responsibilities. I've handled many small rodents including mice, and am comfortable with handling and providing care for smaller pets. I've managed care for animals with severe anxiety by providing them with daily psychiatric meds, and animals needing physical support with supplements, weight loss interventions (diet foods and safe, increased exercise), as well as animals with stranger fear. As a full time professional student, my mornings are often occupied by lectures, and Tuesday/Wednesday afternoons may be partially occupied for school responsibilities. I am very flexible, and can attend to pet care duties before, in between, and after my classes. I am open to over night stays and higher-maintenance care tasks, such as providing care for animals that require behavioral or psychiatric support during their family members absence. I enjoy playing with pets, within their boundaries of comfort. I have become apt at recognizing animals mood states, so I can properly respond to fear, excitement, anxiety, pulling on the leash, and over reactivity as necessary. I enjoy taking dogs on frequent walks if that is comfortable for them, and give occasional treats to reward 'good' behavior, such as sitting or laying down on command, and waiting to be fed. I am comfortable being cuddly with animals, and being very close and physical with them, if that fits in their boundaries. In my apartment I cannot host dogs, however, there are many parks and fields right in my backyard that I can bring your dogs to that they will enjoy.

My days are usually built around client appointments, which allows me to open time for pet care in between services, early mornings, evenings, and sometimes full days when I’m not booked. On lighter workdays, I can take on drop-in visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. On slower days or weekends, I’m available for longer care or overnight stays. I plan my schedule carefully so I can give each pet my full attention, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for without rushing their time with me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they are always safe, comfortable, and on a consistent routine. I always provide fresh, clean water throughout the day so pets stay hydrated. For feeding, I keep a structured schedule so they know what to expect—breakfast is served no later than 8:00 AM and dinner is served no later than 6:00 PM, unless the owner provides a different routine. For dogs, I always make sure they are securely on a leash or harness before they step outside. Their safety is my top priority, and I stay alert to make sure they don’t get into anything dangerous, such as trash, bones, or anything on the ground that could harm them. Inside the home, I maintain a pet-friendly environment by keeping an eye on their behavior and making sure they stay away from hazards like electrical wires or anything they could chew or swallow. I also make sure they have a safe space where they can play, relax, and move around comfortably without risk. About: I have experience with seizures and strokes in dogs, am able to administer any kind of medication, and have some experience with animals struggling with anxiety. I am a graduate student just looking for some fulfilling part time work. I am available at any point during the weekdays and after October 31st on the weekends I will not be able to host any animals, but I plan on prioritizing the pet’s comfort within their own home and making sure all needs are met

About: Hi, I’m Melanie! I am 30 years old and I have owned and taken care of 4 dogs, 8 cats, and 2 rabbits in my life; as well as helping family and friends with care/training for their animals! I love being around all kinds of animals, big and small. That being said, I know every pet has their own individual needs and I love being able to provide that for them (training, walks, specific toys, grooming, etc). I have no problem giving medication, being mindful of allergies, or helping with any other special needs your pet may have! I’m a very active person, so I don’t mind long walks with your fur baby!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 8 years old and have experience with many different types of dogs, as well as other animals. I’m very thorough and attentive when it comes to understanding and meeting each pet’s individual needs. I have a deep love and appreciation for animals, especially dogs, and I always want them to feel safe, comfortable, happy, and well cared for while they’re with me! I currently work remotely as a legal assistant, which gives me a flexible and open schedule for dog sitting and overnight stays. I’m able to bring my work equipment with me, so I can comfortably work from your home while keeping your pup company throughout the day. I also nanny part-time for about two hours a day, but otherwise my schedule is very flexible! I always try to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I’ll make sure they’re fed on their usual schedule, have plenty of fresh water, get regular bathroom breaks and exercise, and receive lots of attention and affection. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions regarding medications, walks, playtime, or other needs. When staying in a client’s home, I treat both the pet and the home with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

About: I've always been surrounded by animals. I have experience with puppies, kitties, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and large breed dogs. I would love to care for your fur babies! I am available to love on your babies full time! Whatever their routine is, we will be able to stick to it. I am happy to stay overnight with your babies, or get to them as early as needed. I will make sure all their needs are met. Food and water will always be handled as instructed, play time and pets go without saying, and a potty break will never be missed! I have been in a situation where my sitter did not let my dogs out in a timely manner, and I would not put someone through that stress. Your babies don't deserve that!

They even dealt with an unexpected situation when one of the dogs uncovered a nest of baby rabbits, and did so in really calm and professional way. And they were extremely thorough in ensuring the dogs and the rabbits were all safe. Our animals all clearly had a great time with them. Will absolutely be rebooking!”
