About: Growing up in Port Angeles near the Olympic National Park, I have always had a strong love for animals. I received my Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology so that I could work towards preserving threatened or endangered species. Through internships, volunteering, work experience, and personal experience, I’ve cared for a variety of species including cats, dogs, amphibians, reptiles, beavers, big cats, and wolf-dogs. I have 1.5 years experience working as a cat caregiver at a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue. During my time as a caregiver, I worked with special needs cats, senior cats, and kittens. I am currently working as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic. I have worked with dogs and cats with a variety of health conditions and temperaments. I have two cats of my own. I also work as a veterinary assistant full-time where I provide medical care to animals. This includes giving vaccines, drawing blood, trimming nails, providing food and water, and cleaning cages for animals that are staying in the hospital for extended periods of time. I would prefer to conduct a meet and greet with both you and your animal prior to caring for them in order to establish their trust. I will happily take your dog(s) for 30 minute walks around your neighborhood, and I will pick up after them during walks as well. For in home visits, if I am letting your dog out to potty, I will make sure that it is only within a fenced area that your dog cannot jump, or that your dog is on a leash. I am also a firm advocate for indoor-only cats and I am careful to not let your cats outside when I enter or exit your home. I have experience feeding pets dry food, wet food, prescription diets, and raw food diets, and will be more than happy to keep your pet on their regular meal regiment while you are gone as I understand the importance of an established routine for animals. I am familiar with medicating pets such as giving them eye drops, ear drops, pills, liquid oral medications, and subcutaneous injections. Lastly, I’ll make sure that everyone always has fresh water.

About: We’re two young professionals that love animals! Tom’s a video producer & Evelyn’s an engineer. We have years of fostering experience and professional K9 behavior and obedience training! For the past couple of years we were traveling in our self converted camper van, but now we’ve settled down in Port Townsend with our 2 dogs and you can always find us camping or hiking! We have experience with the biggest of dogs, down to the smallest of kittens! Let us know what your buddy needs and we’ll take care of it! Typically, if one of us isn’t available, the other one is. We have flexible schedules so it is no problem at all to fit your pups into our daily lives! We are free to care for them anytime of the day! We are very mindful of trying to maintain the same routine that your pet is used to. If they're couch potatoes, we'll lounge and watch a movie, if they're active, we'll go out for a long walk or run. About: I only learned of Rover about 4-5 months ago when I was searching for help for myself! When I travel and couldn't bring my dog I needed someone to walk and play while the hubby was at work. While I found this support, through the app, I still wasn't finding all the things that would make a TOP NOTCH Pet sitter for us. So here are JUST SOME of the things I bring to the table and was looking for myself... 1. Advance food healing (Someone that is willing and able to MAKE the specialty food my dog was requiring) 2. Pre/post surgery or mobility massage for our furry friends (I have 25+ years humans / 2 animals) 3. Mini Training with every walk. 4. Decluttering, as I am a Professional Organizer and 5. About: I grew up with dogs and cats and pigs and cows and a few reptiles. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I’ve watched friend’s dogs and have temporarily taken in dogs when friends and family needed to re-home their pets. My schedule doesn’t allow me to have a pet full time but on my days off I can spend the day lounging inside or hiking outside or floating in a kayak with your pet! I currently have a pet fish who is always curious and would love to make your pet his new best friend! I only work a couple days a week and my schedule is fairly flexible. I can happily fit in pup time all the days in between! I live in a dog friendly house with a fenced backyard. I also enjoy hiking the local trails and going to the nearby parks. I have friends with small to large dogs that enjoy being outdoors and socializing with other dogs for some doggy play dates if preferred. My house has laminate flooring and I only clean with pet friendly solutions so if you have a puppy in training it’s not a big deal. When caring for your pet they will be the priority of my attention. If I am available then I will not be working so my routine will try to mimick their routine. I have a fenced yard with space for your pup to play. Beds are off limits abut I have a perfect doggy blanket on the couch with your pup’s name on it if furniture is ok by you.

About: I worked as a veterinary assistant for 10 years in ER and specialist facilities, including fear-free practices. After that, I was an Animal Control Officer for a few years where I was able to help so many pets and owners. Now, I work from home for a pet insurance company and get to spend all my time with my pets rather than away at work. I am very comfortable with all types of medication administration, including insulin injections. Senior pets are my all-time favorites, no matter the species. I would be more than happy to care for your medically needy companion. When your pets are in my home, they will be separated from my own dogs via baby gates at all times. I work from home 8-5, but pets are always by my side. We can absolutely fit your pet's needs into my day either before or after my shift. If they're in my home they will get interaction through the day. I have fenced in areas for pets to go outside and a nice neighborhood we can walk. I'm happy to take your pet to my local park for some extra sniffy time as well. They will always be on leash outside of my fenced in areas. I do offer pickup/drop off services if you don't have transportation for your pet.

About: I love all pets! I have never owned a dog, but would love to walk and play with yours. I have two cats and know how to tend to them well, including playing. Since I am unemployed, I am free most of the week. I am okay with same-day scheduling but prefer one-day or more in advance. I am flexible! I like to get to know pets by having them sniff me and check me out before I do anything with them. That way they know I am not aggressive and that they can trust me. Then I will tend to their needs as best I can.

About: I have been dog sitting for family friends for at least four years, but I have had my own pets as long as I can remember. I am used to giving animals the medications they need and providing special care if needed. I am currently enrolled in school full time, but other than that my schedule is very flexible. I do school in the evenings so I have almost the whole day free. I’ll love your pet like my own. I understand that every animal is different and requires different levels of care. I have cared for senior dogs and puppies alike so I am able to be flexible with the needs of your pets.

About: I’ve taken care of many different dogs of all different breeds my entire life. I was a puppy raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation of America. Preciously a volunteer at the VBSCPA. I work Monday-Thursday at an office but have the availability to bring animals to the office with me and have access to large open areas with fences for dogs. I take several walks a week, and can bring dogs on outdoor walks to accommodate their exercise needs. I have a large house with a fenced in yard, that is also large. I rent but my landlord allows all pets. The fences are high, so jumping a fence would not be an issue or possible. My neighborhood is safe and full of areas to walk the dogs. I am also available to go to other houses to dog sit if needed.

About: I’ve worked in an animal shelter and a few animal hospitals, gaining immense knowledge and insight to animal care. I have also owned and cared for dogs for my entire life. I do some remote work for a few hours a week, so I really have complete availability during the week. My weekends are also totally free. I can take your pups out multiple times a day. I enjoy walking, running, and playing games with the pups. I can also easily crate your dog, if that’s your preference. I can watch them play in the yard and even bring a dog friend along if you wish.

I work during the week but outside of that my schedule is very flexible and can work around things to open and make my schedule available I follow directions as they are stated and will continue to follow the way you treat and handle your pets. I have owned dogs with epilepsy, Addison's disease, and neurological disorders, so I am comfortable giving medications and administering injections. My lucky dogs enjoy a two acre fenced yard with lots of interesting spots for a dog to sniff and explore.
