About: Premium Pet & Flock Care Tailored for Every Life Stage As a trusted and experienced pet care provider, I specialize in personalized sitting services for large-breed pups, cats, and their smaller furry friends — with added expertise in puppy training, compassionate senior pet care, and even backyard flock care for chickens. Your pets are unique, and so is my approach: I take time to understand each animal’s personality, routine, and special needs to ensure they feel secure, loved, and engaged while you’re away. From teaching puppies good manners and basic obedience, to gently caring for older pets who need extra patience and attention, to providing thoughtful care for your feline family members — I deliver professional, reliable care that goes far beyond feeding and walking. And for families with backyard chickens, I bring years of hands-on experience as a seasoned chicken owner. I can provide attentive care for your flock — ensuring they’re fed, their coop is secure, and they stay safe and healthy until you’re home again. 🐾 Puppy Training: I help reinforce basic commands, house-training routines, and leash manners, giving your young pup the best start in life. 🐱 Cat Care: I provide gentle, attentive care for cats of all temperaments, making sure they receive the affection, play, and routine they need to feel safe and content. 🐾 Senior Pet Expertise: I understand the special needs of aging pets — from administering medication and assisting with mobility to creating a calm, stress-free environment for rest and comfort. 🐓 Flock Care: As an experienced chicken owner, I know how to care for backyard hens and ensure they’re well-tended and secure in your absence. 🐾 More Than a Sitter — A True Companion: My services are designed to give you peace of mind and your pets (and chickens!) a trusted friend they can rely on. You’ll return to a happy, healthy, and well-cared-for family every time. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I work from home, which allows me to provide loving, attentive care around the clock. My flexible schedule means I can easily adapt to each pet’s unique needs — whether it’s regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or administering medication. Because I’m home throughout the day and night, pets in my care enjoy consistent companionship, plenty of interaction, and a stable, comforting environment that feels like home. I’m able to maintain their familiar routines and give them the one-on-one attention they deserve, so they’re never lonely or stressed while you’re away. Pet care isn’t just part of my routine — it’s at the heart of my everyday life. I care for pets in my home by providing round-the-clock attention in a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment where they feel like part of the family. Pets enjoy plenty of playtime, outdoor exercise (especially for large-breed dogs), and cozy resting spots. I maintain their regular feeding and potty schedules and offer lots of love, enrichment, and companionship throughout the day and night. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I tailor each visit to their pet’s routine and comfort level. This can include daily walks, fresh food and water, playtime, litter box or yard cleanup, medication administration if needed, and overnight stays for pets who do best in their familiar surroundings. I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and relaxed — and I keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every animal with the same care and devotion I give my own — because they deserve nothing less.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I currently have four dogs and have helped care for many others through family and friends. I also grew up with cats, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. Beyond caring for animals, I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where I provide compassionate, dependable care to people every day. Being a CNA has strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm and responsible in any situation which are qualities I bring to every pet I care for. I'm heading to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities this fall, and pet sitting is the perfect way for me to cover some schooling dues and spend time doing something I genuinely love. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm and caring companion, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I currently work part time as a CNA working second shift. So, I am always available until 2pm. But, catch me on a day I don’t work at the healthcare facility, and I’ll be free all day! Sometimes weekends can be hard, however I always find ways to make everything work out. As I live under my parents households still, I have two homes. One house has a large fenced in yard, with two friendly dogs that live there. The other home, has a large open field in the back, which unless the animal is off the leash trained, we have long leads for them to run free (ish). This home also has two even more friendly dogs who would love the company. Both of these homes are located in nice neighborhoods in the town of Plymouth.

About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. Additionally, I have pet sat for numerous family members over the years as well as friends. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life. I had my own dog for 16 years, from childhood through her senior years, so I understand the responsibility, patience, and consistency dogs need at every stage of life. I regularly walked her and taught her commands like sit, shake, and roll over. As she got older and developed health conditions, I continued caring for her with patience and attention to her changing needs. I’ve also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society and used to go with my mom when I was younger, which helped me become comfortable around dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I’m dependable, caring, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind. I’m home from college for the summer and looking for a fun, active way to spend my weekdays doing something I genuinely enjoy. I only work a few nights a week, so I have a pretty flexible daytime schedule for walks, drop-ins, and pet care. I’ve always loved being around dogs, so this feels like the perfect side job for me while I’m home. I enjoy getting outside, staying active, and spending time with animals, and I’d love to help give your pets some extra attention, exercise, and care during the day. When caring for pets, I always try to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. During walks I keep dogs closely leashed, pay attention to our surroundings, bring water and waste bags, and make sure not to walk too far especially in hot weather or with older dogs. For drop in visits I make sure pets have fresh food and water, get attention and play time, and that everything is clean and secure before I leave. I also know how important pets are to people, so I’d always keep owners updated and send pictures when I can.

About: “God speaks to the creatures through the creatures.” -Dr. Chase. “All you need is love.” -John Lennon. Plenty of love I have to give, but I also have the experience of 35 years as a science teacher. I’m well-versed in how animals like dogs and cats talk to us through their gestures. Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. Please read my first four reviews which I received from pet owners that I served even before signing up with Rover. The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. Snuggles welcome. 🐾🥰😻 When serving you and your pet, I like to send pictures. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.

Another fabulous walk by Cody. You can trust Cody 100% with your dog. Particularly if you have a dog who has any issues whatsoever, it is hard to hand the dog off, but Cody can handle anything. Cody has had dogs all his life and is very knowledgeable -- in fact, more so than some of the "trainers" my rescue dog has seen.

Miranda is amazing…! I totally trust her with my dog, who is an elder dog who recently had back surgery, so she has some special needs and I worry. But with Miranda I don’t stress at all because I know she’s in good hands, with an experienced Dogwalker, with a history of working with all sorts of dogs. Plus, Miranda sends me pictures of her and lets me know how things went, by leaving a note inside the house, which is a really nice personal touch that I enjoy. I highly recommend her.

About: I have done pet foster care for Dane County Humane Society for a number of years. I take in injured and healing dogs. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I turned to them in times of need and they depend on me for companionship and guidance. I am currently semi retired and working 10 hours a week for a local TV station. My time is very flexible. I am going to be tied up for a few hours on Monday evening We have a large yard in the country and we have walking trails adjacent to our property. I have a 50 pound dog with hip dysplasia and a torn ACL she cannot do A whole lot at this time so I enjoy getting out and walking with other dogs. Our cat Luna recently passed away. She will be missed.

We connected with Jemsen so we could visit the Kohler Arts Center. Jensen was great to communicate and flexible as we didn't know our exact timing until the day of. Once a time was agreed she promptly suggested a meeting location and was punctual. I could tell immediately that our dog was handled with care. I checked in with Jensen about halfway through the stay to see how things were going and she responded immediately. She was punctual to meet at the end of the walk and brought our dog back clean and exercised. Jensen also offered some nice tips for local dog friendly outdoor dining.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 8. I pay attention to all the pets that I care for. I also am very good at attending to dogs with anything they need. I am looking to do this full time and I am flexible with anyone’s schedule. I am home most of the time except to run errands. I have a big house and big yard that is fenced in. I live 5 minutes away from a big dog park. I also live with my mom and two of my siblings. There are four medium sized dogs that live in this house and enjoy playing with most other dogs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
