“Elena treated my dogs like her own. My dogs interacted with hers fir more socialization. I felt very comfortable leaving them in her hands, even though my 1 yo pup can be extra!”

“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

“Mikayla is absolutely amazing! I don’t have enough kind/positive words to describe our experience. We boarded our 2 dogs with her for just under a week. One of our dogs is very scared of strangers, but Mikayla had him warmed up and part of the family in just a couple of days! I was so impressed and glad to know that both my babies were taken care of and loved just as they are at home (if not more!). Thank you, Mikayla!”

“Seemed attentive to dogs and communicated very well with us which was appreciated. We do think her rates are high though, and she takes multiple dogs at once.”

“Wonderful experience for our two dogs. We loved the communication from Greg. We know the dogs were having a blast. Probably didn’t miss us. Thanks Greg and Woofy!”

“Sophia was amazing! She asked a lot of questions and took plenty of notes to make sure my dogs could maintain as much of their home life as possible. She sent photos and feedback daily. She made my girls feel right at home in her home. She gave them all the cuddles and snuggles. She was very flexible about drop off and pick up.”

“Mariya was great! She communicated with texts and pic's and info about my dog's stay. She even clipped her nails (which isn't easy to do)! She might be a little more than others, but you can know they're in good hands with Mariya.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs from family friends while they were out of the country, made sure they got their medication on a regular basis or a specific time. I’ve taken care of elderly dogs and helped support them when doing potty/poop business. I’m also currently in a Veterinary Assisting Program, where I myself have learned a lot as an owner, understanding special cares for dogs that need special care, how to give medications, which I am comfortable to give Orally, not injectable yet since I am a student learning. I am still in school, but after school or on the weekends I will be available. Got any summer plans and can’t take your fur baby with you?? I’m available! I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I follow each pet's routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions. In clients' homes, I respect their space and maintain a clean, stress-free environment for their pets. I prioritize safety at all times, keep pets supervised, provide regular updates, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while you're away! :)
“Sent a lot of great pictures. Communicated back to me quickly. Was very active with my dog and took her swimming, on hikes, to the park, etc. 10/10. I will definitely be using her again. Thank you!”

About: I've been around dogs the majority of my adult life and have experience with dogs of all ages. I've tended to senior dogs, young pups, often dogsitting friends' dogs while they worked. I was a part of a pet sitting business for weddings. I have two senior dogs myself, so they have a soft spot in my heart, down to the pickiest of pill takers. While my old men can't enjoy as many walks, but you can bet I'll be taking yours on the strolls they need! Despite working during the week, I'm fairly free otherwise, leaving plenty of time for play. My dogs and I have a routine and they love being around other dogs, so there will be lots of playtime, attention, and care. Your pets would get gentle voices, cuddles, and two bonus friends to play with. They would be treated with extra care, patience, and love for I understand that new people can be overwhelming for any pet. My goal is to keep them as comfortable and loved during their experience with me to ease any of their anxieties with respect to their boundaries and comfort levels.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
