When I get home, I make sure my pets get the attention they need, including taking my dog for a walk right away. I’m used to building pet care into my daily routine and understand how important consistency is for animals. On weekends, I have more flexibility to spend quality time with your pets, whether that means going for walks, playing, providing companionship, or simply keeping them company. I’m committed to following your pet’s normal routine and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time and play. I also have a friendly dog and two friendly cats! I understand that every animal has different needs and comfort levels, and I would always prioritize your pet’s safety and well-being. I would make sure pets are supervised, have access to fresh water, and receive plenty of attention and care. I also understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, so I would always take introductions slowly and keep pets separated when needed to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, and my fiancé and I have had our own pets for 6 years now. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, but I am here to help in any way I can. I have two cats and two dogs of my own which means I have experience with puppies and kittens, and with things like giving medications as well. I will care for your pets as if they were my own 😊 I currently work full-time Monday through Friday, however, my fiancé and I have worked potty breaks into our schedules. One of us comes home every day for a mid-day potty break for our own pets, and we would be happy to include your pets as well. We have a big yard and decent space inside for your pets. Our pets are allowed on our couch and they usually hang out with us; it would be no different for your pets. We have space to set up a crate if needed and we even have a few crates available so you don’t have to haul yours around. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s specific needs with you!

About: I’ve owned and taken care of all sort of animals! I grew up on a farm so have lots of experience giving animals medicine and providing care to those that are sick as well. My dad is a dog trainer so I have had all sorts of dog and puppies around my whole life. I work Monday- Friday 8am to 430 pm and can offer potty breaks every 8 hrs. I can potentially take a mid day potty break during lunch if located close to downtown area. I will follow any instructions the owners give me and make sure to always provide a safe environment for the pet I am taking care of.

Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats around the house, and it’s a tradition I’ve proudly continued into adulthood. Sadly, both of my beloved pugs passed away over the last few years. Right now, it's just me and my cat, Vader, so I would absolutely love to welcome a canine (or another feline) presence back into my home! I work at WSU and live a quiet, peaceful life here in Colfax. Because my home is a kid-free environment and I spend a lot of my time here, your pet will get plenty of focused attention, companionship, and love. I understand how hard it is to leave your pets, so I am committed to treating yours like family - providing a safe, comfortable, and fun home away from home. I’d love to chat and see if I’m the perfect fit for your pet! I work at WSU so it's a short commute each day, allowing me to spend more time at home. My weekday evenings are pretty quiet. I sometimes go out on the weekends but would be quite happy staying home if there is pet-sitting to do. I have a large fenced yard. I have a large linoleum dining and kitchen area that can easily be blocked off where messes are easy to clean up. I'm totally fine sharing my bed and furniture with a pet. It's a quiet, kid-free house well suited for even the most nervous dogs.
