About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old, any breed or size. I even used to have 2 of my own before they passed away . But now i can’t house any dogs so id love to take care of yours ! I am currently in college at EWU and on the track and cross country team . I have class part day and run part of the day so hard to work a regular job and need something to do in the mean time like walk someone’s dogs or feed some cats ! I have an apartment so I unfortunately can’t board pets but can house sit or stop in most times of the day or week !

About: Hello pet parents! My name is Cynthia, and as a pet owner, I understand that as much as we want to bring our pets with us everywhere we go, that's not always possible. Which is why I created Cookie's Companions! ❤️🐕 I have always had a passion for animals! ❤️I grew up fostering pets, and many rescues are frightened. So, I've gotten very good at reading their body language and comforting them when they are upset. I have volunteered with the Humane Society and other rescue programs and I have experience with a variety of animals, both large and small. I am a former medical professional that has experience with veterinary first aid and I am also familiar with multiple dog training techniques. My husband and I run my business full time, so I'm always here when a furry friend is in need, and your little ones will never be left without cuddles! 😁 My husband and I run the business full time, so I am almost always available when a furry friend is in need of comfort while their family is away! At Cookie's Companions, safety always comes first! We try to meet all of our clients prior to the stay to be sure that pets are comfortable, but we do take same day visits on a case by case basis. If I am dropping in, I follow owner instructions carefully and I come with dog treats at the ready to let your little one know that I am a friend! When walking, leashes are always used, and with large dogs I usually have a second leash that hooks to my waist, just as an added security measure. I always use sidewalks and safety crossings as well.

About: I’ve had 3 puppies of my own an have watched/taken care of my friends pets many times. I’m definitely a dog lover an love to be around them. I’m mostly free during weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm . About: I’ve grown up with a wide variety of pets and have been missing hanging out with furry friends since moving into my dorm this year. I have experience both owning and looking after pets at every age, from puppies to elderly dogs (who will forever be puppies in my heart). I’m also experienced with giving dogs medicine. Pets hold a special connection with us and they deserve the best most attentive care during their whole lives. I am a senior in college so my schedule is relatively relaxed. Typically my days consist of no more than 2 in person classes, giving me time in the mornings and evenings either before or after class. Though I cannot offer housing myself I can easily look after your pet in the comfort of their own home. I always request meeting with you prior to sitting in order to become accustomed to your style of pet parenting and insure I am able to give your pets the exact type of care they need. This can range from regular walks, feedings at specific times, or even just spending time with an anxious pet. I will always do whatever possible to make your furry friend as comfortable and happy as they can be!

About: I’ve had many dogs in my family. I currently have three dogs, two of which are golden retrievers and the other one is an Australian shepherd. I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember and love the responsibility. I can handle energy dogs from experience of having one myself as well. I wake up and take my Australian Shepard on a walk. The other two dogs go on runs with my mom every morning. I get out of school before anyone else so I’m home with the dogs and will take them out and then feed them when it’s time. I do not have crates for any of my dogs nor do I have a fence. But I have crate trained puppies before so am used to doing that.

About: I've had pets/companions for over 10 years. Providing food and water, walking pets, and administering medication. Also can monitor and record pets behavior. Clean liter boxes I currently work full time and off on the weekends. About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I love all animals and treat them all as if they were my own! I currently do not work-so my schedule is wide open and flexible to take care of all of your pets needs. I am open to walking, dog sitting and more! I have a dog to keep your fur baby company of staying in my home. I do not have a fenced yard but like to go for walks, and in park adventures.

About: I became a first responder to care for others on their worst days. My own pup has kept me company during mine, especially when work becomes a bit stressful. Overall he has completed my little family 🐶👨‍👧 I wouldn't mind spending some of my free time caring for your pets. I myself have a Doberman named Achilles who is such a affectionate pup. I have spent the last year training him on obedience, commands, socialization, food aggression, leash behavior, discipline and recall. My dog is a perfect example of how my style of care is. Highlight on providing a loving environment mixed in with some structure for routine. I receive many compliments on how well behaved he is. I strongly believe that our pets reflect highly on the type of character their owner has. Dobermans are a high energy breed and require a lot of mental stimulation to maintain a healthy balance within the home. I do live an active lifestyle so physically keeping up with your pet is never an issue. Providing them with a fun and caring place to enjoy themselves is the goal. I reference my dog so that you can get a general idea of what experience has been gained. Along with the experience I have had from my childhood until an adult helping care for a wide variety of animals from strays to family members pets or friends while they were out of town. Each came with their own personality and preference on care and I can proudly say that I have been successful providing each with a high level of care while they spent time around me. The breeds I spent the most time around through family & friends would mostly be Dogs: Great Danes, Pit bulls, German shepherds, Poodles, and Dobies. Cats: Maine coon, and Tabby cats “Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.” I currently work in EMS as a first responder👨🏽‍🚒🚒 During the day I just work on homework or study so making time to care for your pets is no challenge at all! To be honest when I am hired to dog walk I just use it as a warm up before heading to the gym lol. When I am hired to pet sit or do a drop in, it is an excuse to just spend time around a wide variety of loving breeds which is a win to me. Anytime I am providing care to one of your pets, my goal will be aligned with what I expect from sitters when I hire them to watch my pup during trips I can't take him on. That will be to maintain that same feeling of routine and care for your pet that you provide for them.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for 10years and have cared for many different dogs breeds from young to senior. I was raised around many types of animals including horses, dogs, cats. My love for animals shows in my ability to be patient and assess their individual needs. Your animal will be well taken care of and have you feeling worry free. In my home I feed animals 2 times a day at 8am and 8pm. I take dogs out to go to the bathroom at 7:30am, 11:30am, 3:00pm, 6:00pm and lastly at 9:00pm. If your animals needs to go out after that I will do so. I have an unfenced yard but use a staked leash in the ground. I also can take them out on your leash if your more comfortable with that, but if your dog is a jumper (needing a 6ft fence) he/ she will be leashed walked for potty time and can walk them for a good period of time. Everyday at the best weathered part of the day or around noon I will be taking your fur-baby out for at least an hour walk or go to the dog park/ run if allowed during longer stays (more than 2 days). For the animals that I will be taking care of at their home I will feed them on the schedule that you have for them already and as close to those times as possible. I will take them on a 30 min walk at least once a day and give take them out to go to the bathroom once in the morning and once in the evening. If you let me know what needs to be done and it will be done as close to the times as possible Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs or allergies i.e. seasonal and/or food so I can take the appropriate measures to insure he/she has a wonderful time within those limits. I also request that you let me know of any behavioral needs that he/she has ahead of time. for example if they get along with other dogs and animals, or pull on there leash ( mainly for bigger dogs) etc.
