âDay was truly a blessing! She took such great care of my senior dog Zeus and my home while I was away. I appreciated her communication and all of the photos she sent. So grateful I found her!â

âLydia has been such a joy to work with. She truly loves animals and cares about your pet. She was eager to learn our boy Oscarâs personality and made sure he felt special. She frequently updated us and sent lots of great pics. She was also very respectful of our home. Lydia is kind enthusiastic and very professional. Your fur baby will be in good hands.â

âJudith stayed with our two dogs over the Thanksgiving holiday. She came to meet the dogs beforehand and they were immediately comfortable with her. She came by to pick up the house key and it was obvious that both dogs remembered her and were happy to see her. She was easy to reach throughout our time away and communicated regularly. We give Judith a hearty five stars and would love for her to stay with Rooney and Ellie again in the future.â

âWhat a wonderful job! The animals love her and even though our little farm threw her some curve balls, she reacted like a pro and made my vacation worry free. She also has excellent communication skills. Thank you so much đâ
About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I am very familiar with the day to day needs they have, I enjoy taking them for walks and providing general day to day care. I also own fish and geckos, so if you have any small animals that need care, such as reptiles, rabbits, etc. I would be open to caring for them as well. I graduated high school last year and am currently living at home. I have a very flexible schedule and can be free to provide care most days of the week. I do not provide care in my home as I have dogs of my own who don't love to be around other pets. I would provide care in your home.
âAlexia and Jayden were excellent with our very special babies! We have a senior Lab and a 2 year old Lab, so two completely different temperaments. Alexia and Jayden kept me updated pretty regularly, on my dogs eating and activity level by sending photos and videos of them. Coming home my dogs were very relaxed, happy and safe! Which is the most important thing!â

About: What sets me apart is my depth of experience and adaptability! Iâve been house-sitting and providing full-time pet care for several years, both short- and long-term, in a wide variety of homes, from apartments to multi-animal properties. Iâm comfortable caring for pets of all ages and needs, including puppies, seniors, and animals requiring medications (like ear and eye drops, pills, and ointments) or special routines. I have hands-on experience with cats and dogs of all ages, so Iâm confident following detailed care instructions for many species. Because I often stay in the home while caring for pets, I prioritize consistency, cleanliness, and communication. I maintain petsâ normal routines, keep homes well cared for, and provide regular updates so owners can travel with peace of mind. Iâm calm, observant, and proactive; if something seems off, I notice quickly and act responsibly. Above all, I treat every pet as an individual and every home with respect. My goal is always for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while their humans are away! I work remotely Monday through Friday, typically from 9 AMâ5 PM, which allows me to be home with pets throughout the day rather than away at an office. My work is flexible, so I can easily schedule walks, feedings, medication, playtime, and check-ins around petsâ routines. Iâm able to take brief breaks during the day for potty breaks, enrichment, and companionship, and Iâm fully available in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. For house-sitting stays, I prioritize maintaining each petâs normal schedule so they feel comfortable and secure. Because Iâm often in the home, pets get consistent supervision, attention, and care, not just quick drop-ins. Iâm happy to adjust my routine for puppies, seniors, or pets with special needs. I provide pet care exclusively in my clientsâ homes, where pets are most comfortable and routines stay consistent. I do not offer care in my own home. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all written and verbal care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and household rules. I keep doors, gates, and enclosures secure, monitor pets closely for any changes in behavior or health, and address issues promptly and responsibly. I maintain a clean, calm environment, respect each home as if it were my own, and ensure pets are supervised appropriately based on their age, temperament, and needs. Iâm experienced with multi-pet households and mixed species and take extra care to manage interactions safely. I communicate regularly with updates and photos so owners feel confident their pets and home are in good hands while theyâre away.
âWe had an excellent experience with Julie over the Christmas weekend. She took wonderful care of both our dogs and cats and kept our home clean and well-maintained while we were away. One of our dogs was recovering from surgery and required special attention, and she handled his care with great diligence, including treating a hot spot on his paw. It was very reassuring to know our pets were in such capable and compassionate hands. We would absolutely recommend her to other pet owners and would happily book her again.â

About: Hi, I'm restarting my animal care business. I want to ensure a stimulated experience with a swift pace and consistent disciplined walking style of what I like to refer to as "nose to toes," where the dogs stay no further than my toe, to my sides, or behind me. I also have experience with aggressive dog behavior, so if a single walk is necessary, I can do that. I have been in the animal care business for as long as I can remember, and I know Fairlington very well since I grew up here. I now live in Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. I will be able to track my walks with a phone app that will track your dog's walking pace, distance traveled, and the route we take. I usually do pack walks of 3-5 dogs depending on size, but I can do singles if needed. I'm also able to cat-sit/dog-sit and care for exotics and birds (no insects). I'm flexible because I have my own cleaning/organizing/declutter business. I wake up however early dog might need be let out or pet given meds, and give at least 3 long 30min-hour walks depending on the energy level and few let outs throught the day if needed for young pups or older if bladder is sensitive. Plenty of loves and can work on training or stimulated play time with toys and puzzles. I will be professional and not have any guests over ever, and always keep doors locked when not there and if plants need care I can help with watering. I have 4 animals myself so it's pretty automatic to just add another pet cuz I've cared for multiple animals at a time or drop in visits when needed throughout my day. Whatever the fmaily requests for schedule when to feed, medicate(if needed), amount of walks and play time needed to make sure they're healthy and stimulated. Whenever they're ready for bed, crate if needed requested by parents, and make sure they go outside(dogs) to ensure no accidents throughout the night. I give them just as much love and attention and play as my own. And feed round same schedule unless instructed otherwise. Giving exercise and play time when needed. And kept to routine of crating if owners instruct.
âSo happy to have worked with Julia. She took care of our dog and left out house in great order. Sent us pictures and updates too! Will certainly hire her again if she is available.â

About: I have taken care of dogs for 15 years. I started working at a daycare in 2011 and then progressed to working at two different animal hospitals. My last job I worked at the an animal hospital for 10 years. I was also doing pet sittings and walkings on the side. I have experience with both young and senior fur babies. I am currently not working and have been staying busy with pet sittings. So am looking forward to meeting new fur buddies and make fun memories! Hi! Iâm a responsible and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own. I live in a townhouse with my friend. He owns a Chihuahua mix who is friendly with other dogs. While we donât have a fenced yard, safety is always my top priority, and dogs are kept on a leash at all times. If a dog is not dog-friendly, I take extra care to avoid high-traffic areas during walks. When a fenced yard is available at a clientâs home, I always supervise outdoor time. I carefully follow all feeding instructions and take allergies seriously. I have experience administering oral medications but do not give injections.
âCelina was great with our two pugs! One of them is very people shy, and she had him snuggling with her in no time! She kept us informed as to how our fur babies were doing throughout the weekend. Will definitely use her again!â

âJoshua was right on time and did an excellent job caring for and spending the night with our energetic 7 month old yellow lab puppy! Chessie just loved him! We definitely will have him back when the need arises!â

About: Iâve worked with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from high-energy puppies to anxious rescues and sweet senior pets. I always take the time to earn a petâs trust and tailor care to their unique needs. Iâm comfortable with walking, feeding, playtime, litter box cleanup, giving medications, and more. I treat every animal like theyâre my own and make sure they feel safe and loved while youâre away. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine! Iâm available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and Iâm happy to work around your petâs schedule. Iâm a college student, so Iâm used to being reliable and organized with time. Your petâs safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your instructions closely, keep doors/gates secure, and use positive, gentle handling. I make sure your pet is happy, clean, and comfortable whether Iâm visiting your home or hosting them in mine. Iâm respectful of your space and will treat it like my own.
