“Jen was fantastic with our 2 senior dogs and senior cat! With her having experience as a vet tech it eased our minds while away and she Made sure we were aware of any issues that popped up! Thank you so much Jen!”

“Maggie and Oakley instantly accepted Matt. Matt recognized large dog excitement and responsed with quiet control. He respected Maggie's senior needs. While Oakley just wanted to cuddle. Matt gathered information for their care, sent us pictures of each dog and adapted his service to our needs. We will hire Matt again for our dogs care”
“Destiny was amazing with communication, reliability and sent photos and updates the whole time. I had no concerns that my pups were being well cared for, and wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again!”

“Eliza was a great pet sitter! She stayed in our home for a full week and took wonderful care of both our dog and cat. It was clear from the updates and our pets' happy demeanor when we returned that they received plenty of love, attention, and companionship while we were away.”

“I cannot recommend Sara highly enough!! I've now found my go-to sitter! From our very first messages she was extremely communicative and caring, going above and beyond to make sure my pup kept his routine. She spent tons of extra time on our meet-n-greet, going through all our details and was immediately affectionate with my pup (he loved her too). He's a big reactive active dog so I was nervous about finding a person who could handle him, but she was natural, wise, engaged and kind from the start! When I was away she sent tons of pictures, videos, and updates which was so relieving. It was so nice having Sara stay at my house. When I came home my house perfectly kept and my dog was so relaxed and happy. She's the best!”

About: I worked at an animal shelter where I helped care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I gained experience with lots of different categories like feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure animals felt comfortable and cared for. I also have experience with reactive dogs/cats and making sure to create an environment where they thrive and do not feel the need to be reactive. I also worked with many different types of cats, especially the shy ones who just needed more support. I have also given vaccines and medicine to animals, as well as taken a senior diabetic cats blood sugar. I understand every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow any routines and give them all the patience and attention they need and deserve! I also have experience with family animals! Growing up, we had all sizes of dogs, from a German Shepherd to an Italian Greyhound! So I have experience with all different animal personalities like door dashers, small velcro pups, and the older ones too:) I currently have a small dog, a bearded dragon, and a hamster! I truly love animals and want pet parents to feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and getting lots and lots of love while they’re away! I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week, including weekdays and weekends. I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening pet care as needed! I live in a rented apartment, so sadly I’m not able to board pets in my home. I do offer care in clients’ homes, which I believe is often best for pets since they can stay in their own familiar space:) I always make sure to follow instructions closely, keep the environment clean, and prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort.

About: I’ve had pets all my life and feel confident in my ability be to caring, responsible, and genuine when dealing with any pup. I will treat any dog like my own—with attention, safety, and affection. I am currently working part time from 5-12pm m,w,th,f but I’m usually available in the afternoon on those days from 3-5 and between classes during the week, but any time could work just let me know and I will try to make it work! Weekends I’m free and available. I’m available to either come to my clients home to watch their pet or stop by for walks or feeding. Really any help the client is looking for I will happily do.
“Olivia did a fantastic job taking care of my girl Olive while I was away for the weekend. She even ended up staying a couple of extra nights due to blizzard conditions that prevented me from getting home. The apartment was clean, my dog seemed happy and she even left me a bowl of homemade chili. Highly recommend!”

About: Furry Friend Care experience includes caring for cat(s) needing regular injections (subcutaneous), special dietary needs, and walking multiple dogs (familiar with each other). Light grooming, as well! As a free agent with Home bases in both Munising and Marquette, I have flexibility! Please specify what area/ community when you request services. We all have things we care about and want to ensure are safe and cared for when we're not around. I will give care and consideration to your fur friends, their routines and safety! My house sitting, boat sitting, fur friend care, & companionship extend from Marquette to Munising, and Chocolay to Big Bay! Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

About: I’ve had pets and taken care of animals my entire life. I’ve always had cats- my first cat I got when I was three, and I’ve been the primary caretaker for them since. I’ve also had bunnies, dogs, hamsters, and fish! In my hometown (Madison, WI) I was always the go-to pet caretaker. I’ve walked and house sat all kinds of dogs, cats, and other furry friends. Being around animals is something I value a lot! I work part time at Ore Dock Brewery in the summer, and am a nursing student at NMU during the school year! I have lots of free time and am super flexible. I am caring, fun, and perceptive to what your animal needs. I am willing to go on long walks, play catch, cuddle, work on training, groom, or anything else you or your animals wants! I am confident in my ability to keep your pet safe and happy.
About: You can enjoy complete peace of mind knowing your dog is receiving dedicated, one-on-one care in my home. Since I don’t currently have any pets of my own, your dog will be my sole focus, ensuring they feel safe, welcome, and active. I have a large, fully fenced-in backyard that provides plenty of room for supervised play and exercise. Because I work remotely, your pet will have constant companionship and the freedom to enjoy the yard throughout the day. Having previously owned a Golden Retriever and two mixed-breed rescues, I am experienced in caring for different personalities and activity levels. Because I work from home and live alone, your dog becomes my primary companion and the heartbeat of my home. My daily routine is perfectly suited for a pet who thrives on consistency and attention. We start each morning with breakfast and a potty break in the large fenced-in backyard before I settle in for work. While I am at my desk, your dog is welcome to nap in my office or relax at my feet, enjoying a calm and quiet environment. I make it a point to step away from my screen for several breaks throughout the day, which provides the perfect opportunity for us to head outside for fresh air and supervised playtime in the yard. Once I log off for the evening, we head out for a long walk to wind down and get some exercise. My weekends are dedicated to trail walking, and I love having a furry friend join me for these longer outdoor adventures. Since I don't have other pets or children, your dog will truly be the centerpiece of my day and will fit right into my active lifestyle. Since I work from home and live alone, I provide a quiet, low-stress environment where your dog is the sole focus of my attention. My day is built around companionship—your dog can lounge in my office while I work, and we take frequent breaks to play in my large, fully fenced-in backyard. I strictly follow your existing feeding and medication schedule to keep their routine as normal as possible. Because I am active, they will enjoy a long evening walk every day and the option for trail adventures on the weekends.
“We had Alexa stay at our home with our puppy recently. This was not the easiest ask given it was very hot in our area during her stay and our puppy (prone to heat stroke) needs a fair amount of exercise. Alexa handled it very well. She was very reliable, trustworthy and had great communication before and during our stay, which allowed us to be fully present on our travels and relax while we were away knowing Milo was well cared for. We felt she did a great job and would hire her again in the future without hesitation.”

“Victoria did a wonderful job watching my pets. She sent many updates and through them I could tell she was taking thoughtful care of my energetic young dog. She was very understanding and empathetic. And when I came home, my home was in perfect order. She truly went above and beyond, and I’d feel very comfortable having her watch my pets in the future.”

I hope to be able to spoil your fur babies as well. ❤️ I currently have a full time job at a local animal hospital. “Ryan gets an A+. All the things you want in a sitter - on time, courteous, friendly without fawning, great listener - an all-in-all excellent experience. We rescued our two a few months ago, and this was their first experience of being without at least one of us [reallly sensitive after a BAD previous adoption]; it couldn't have gone better. Although somewhat leery of strangers, they wormed up to Ryan within 5 minutes. He was understanding and caring with them, and our worries disappeared. We will have him again (if we ever leave the house!).”
