About: I worked at an animal shelter where I helped care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I gained experience with lots of different categories like feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure animals felt comfortable and cared for. I also have experience with reactive dogs/cats and making sure to create an environment where they thrive and do not feel the need to be reactive. I also worked with many different types of cats, especially the shy ones who just needed more support. I have also given vaccines and medicine to animals, as well as taken a senior diabetic cats blood sugar. I understand every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow any routines and give them all the patience and attention they need and deserve! I also have experience with family animals! Growing up, we had all sizes of dogs, from a German Shepherd to an Italian Greyhound! So I have experience with all different animal personalities like door dashers, small velcro pups, and the older ones too:) I currently have a small dog, a bearded dragon, and a hamster! I truly love animals and want pet parents to feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and getting lots and lots of love while they’re away! I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week, including weekdays and weekends. I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening pet care as needed! I live in a rented apartment, so sadly I’m not able to board pets in my home. I do offer care in clients’ homes, which I believe is often best for pets since they can stay in their own familiar space:) I always make sure to follow instructions closely, keep the environment clean, and prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort.

My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

About: I have been a Licensed Licensed Veterinary Technician for 11 years now, the first part of my career was in Emergency and Critical Care. Caring for animals, is a part of my daily routine. It is something I am extremely passionate about and I am excited to do. I’m willing to offer overnight pet sitting, and walks throughout the day on off days. I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I have five happy and healthy pets of my own, that I love to spend time with and are spoiled rotten. I hope to be able to spoil your fur babies as well. ❤️ I currently have a full time job at a local animal hospital. Daytime visits will be difficult to accommodate but I will do my best to be available when you need me. I will do my very best to keep your pets routine and make sure they are comfortable and happy. About: I’ve had pets and taken care of animals my entire life. I’ve always had cats- my first cat I got when I was three, and I’ve been the primary caretaker for them since. I’ve also had bunnies, dogs, hamsters, and fish! In my hometown (Madison, WI) I was always the go-to pet caretaker. I’ve walked and house sat all kinds of dogs, cats, and other furry friends. Being around animals is something I value a lot! I work part time at Ore Dock Brewery in the summer, and am a nursing student at NMU during the school year! I have lots of free time and am super flexible. I am caring, fun, and perceptive to what your animal needs. I am willing to go on long walks, play catch, cuddle, work on training, groom, or anything else you or your animals wants! I am confident in my ability to keep your pet safe and happy.

About: I’ve had pets all my life and feel confident in my ability be to caring, responsible, and genuine when dealing with any pup. I will treat any dog like my own—with attention, safety, and affection. I am currently working part time from 5-12pm m,w,th,f but I’m usually available in the afternoon on those days from 3-5 and between classes during the week, but any time could work just let me know and I will try to make it work! Weekends I’m free and available. I’m available to either come to my clients home to watch their pet or stop by for walks or feeding. Really any help the client is looking for I will happily do.

“We had Alexa stay at our home with our puppy recently. This was not the easiest ask given it was very hot in our area during her stay and our puppy (prone to heat stroke) needs a fair amount of exercise. Alexa handled it very well. She was very reliable, trustworthy and had great communication before and during our stay, which allowed us to be fully present on our travels and relax while we were away knowing Milo was well cared for. We felt she did a great job and would hire her again in the future without hesitation.”
