About: I provide loving, personal care for your pet. I love animals of all kinds, and have had them all my life. I love to play and walk dogs, and treat them as if they are my own. I have a safe, fenced large yard and only take dogs on flea and tick control , non aggressive, and up to date on their shots, for the safety of my dog and others I care for. I can take dogs up to 25 pounds. I have been dog sitting for many years and can provide excellent references if needed. I require a meet and greet, to get to know your dog and for your personal assurance that I am the sitter for your needs. I also can accomodate dogs with special needs and other pets. A nightly stay is a 24 hour period, late pickups over an hour will incur a day fee for that day. This is so i can stay on a schedule for other appointments. Hope to meet your furry family member soon!!

Kyle did great with Koa! She was very attentive and was easy to get in contact with. Koa had a great time swimming in her pool and playing with Griffin! I would 100% trust her to watch Koa again!

We were visiting in Jupiter over Valentines Day week, and we wanted to book a sitter for our two year old active, sweet Brittany. Joe and Barbara accepted the booking. We were most pleased when we picked up our dog after the play at the Maltz Theater ended. Sadie had a wonderful time on a play date with their pup. She was happy and slept well in our hotel that night. We would definitely book again, if and when, we vacation in the area. Tim H

I was very nervous leaving Kerrigan but Donna was so great and assured me he would be fine. She sent pictures and videos so I knew he was having a great time. He played so well with her dog that he was exhausted when he got home! I'll book with her again soon! Donna was also very accommodating with last minute plans. Don't hesitate to book with her. You won't be disappointed!

About: Hi! I’m Amanda, a local twin mom living in Hobe Sound and a lifelong animal lover. I know how hard it is to leave your pets behind when you’re traveling or working long hours. As the proud owner of two huskies and multiple rescue pets over the years, I understand that pets aren’t “just animals” they’re family. I have experience with energetic breeds, senior pets, medication routines, feeding schedules, and all the little quirks that make every pet unique. As a mom of twins, organization, communication, and multitasking are basically my superpowers. You can expect reliable care, frequent updates, photos, and lots of love while you’re away. Whether your pet wants a long walk, a game of fetch, belly rubs, or simply a calm companion, I’m happy to provide care tailored to their needs. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! As a stay at home mother and wife with kids in school, my days are open and free to care for your furry family members! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have two friendly huskies of my own and understand that every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and house rules to ensure consistency while you’re away. I can crate your pet if requested and will always provide plenty of love, attention, exercise, and supervision. I also send regular photo updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Hello pet parents! 🐾 My name is Elina, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 4 years. While I’m new to this platform, I’ve been the go-to sitter for family, friends, and their referrals for quite some time. I’ve always had a deep love to all animals my entire life. I grew up surrounded by them, always fostering, volunteering at local shelters, and helping rescue dogs and cats until they found their forever homes. It’s something that truly fills my heart. 💛 I currently have two amazing dogs: a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix who’s goofy, friendly, and loves every dog she meets, and a mini Goldendoodle we adopted from New York this year - she’s the sweetest little angel. I have experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages, including those with special needs. Whether your pet is full of energy and ready for adventures, a senior who enjoys slow walks, or needs extra attention and gentle care, I always tailor my time with them to fit their personality and comfort level. I have a big backyard where your pup can safely run, play, and enjoy the outdoors. I also love taking dogs on walks, hikes, to the dog park or beach, or providing cozy cuddle time indoors. Whatever your pet needs, I’m happy to make it happen. My goal is simple: to give every pet the same love, patience, and care I give my own. You can relax knowing your furry family member will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pups soon! Feel free to reach out anytime! 🐶✨ Pet care is a team effort! My husband and I always have someone at home, ensuring your pup is loved, safe, and attended to 24/7. From walks and playtime to snuggles and overnight stays, we’re here whenever your furry friend needs us. I prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet in my care. To ensure they feel comfortable and secure, I maintain a safe, pet-friendly environment with secure fencing and plenty of space for play. I follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medication, or specific routines to ensure your pet’s needs are met. During walks or outings, I always keep your pet on a leash (unless in a secure, enclosed area like my backyard) and stay vigilant to avoid any hazards. I also maintain a calm and attentive demeanor, providing personalized care and attention to each pet’s individual needs, whether they’re energetic or need extra support. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priority!

About: I like to keep stays with me feeling like “home” for everyone (humans and dogs alike) so I never board more than 3 dogs at a time (in addition to my 2-year old Golden). I am also an approved foster home for Golden Rescue of South Florida and Big Dog ranch. After working extensively with a highly renowned local dog trainer, while I do not offer training myself, I do sprinkle all I've learned with all dogs who stay with us. I work from home and have a 3-year-old golden retriever, so pups staying in my home will get to enjoy as much (or as little) interaction as makes sense for them. Typically the only time that pets are left alone is when I go to the gym or for real estate showings (typically 2-4 hours max), and depending on their individual needs and instructions left by you, will either be left in the main living area of my home, or crated. My 3-year-old golden retriever loves to welcome new friends, as do my 7 and 10year old sons. While my golden (Lou) is allowed on the furniture and no longer sleeps in a crate, we are happy to crate your dog(s) just as you would at home so they don't lose their routine. When boarding, we walk and play daily.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Jupiter Island

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 1,001 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Jupiter Island. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Jupiter Island commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,001 sitters in Jupiter Island, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
