“Majesty was extremely responsive and a great resource for an admittedly last minute request for a pop in to let our dogs out while we were at a Christmas party. I felt that our house instructions were read and acknowledged thoroughly, and majesty was communicative and reliable about showing up on time. We’ll definitely hire majesty again.”

“My kitties were so happy with Jillian they were sad when she left. Sunny and Shadow had shiny coats from brushing. She fed them lots of tests at night. She sent many updates through the day depicting their walkabouts around the property. I felt like I was there with my cats at home from all the updates! I would highly recommend her services if are feeling nervous about leaving your home and fur babies. She was compassionate and was professional with her communication. I am so happy my cats had a friend to cuddle with while I was away. 😃”

“Carly was an excellent communicator. She took lots of photos of the pets and wrote up a detailed account of her visit. She asked good questions at our meet and greet which gave me confidence in that she knows what she is doing.”

“Amy was a wonderful sitter for our cat, Garbanzo! She was very communicative and easy to talk to and get along with. She spent some extra time during one of her drop ins which was great. Garbanzo seemed a lot less anxious this time around, I’ll definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Cynthia did an excellent job. We were able to enjoy our vacation because she provides dependable care. She followed all of our instructions. We will use her services again.”

About: I have lived with dogs my whole life! From Pomeranians and Shih Tzus to Rottweilers and Pyrenees. I also have cats! I’m currently in Nevada City with my Shih Tzu, Radio, for temp work, but I used to live in the area and would love another reason to stick around. I am a remote worker for a professional pet sitting service back in Nashville, TN where I am also the event manager for Rescue Puppy Yoga. Prior to this, I worked at The Farmer’s Dog where I learned a lot of about dog health and nutrition. Though I do admin work remotely, I do walk dogs and pet sit frequently in Nashville as well. I am Pet CPR certified and have multiple FetchFind Certifications in addition to that. I’ve been working in the pet industry for as long as I can remember, and I have been a dog walker/pet sitter since a young teen. Sometimes through word of mouth, but I have worked for professional services throughout my career as well. Pet care is all I do! My pet Radio just has to fit into that routine as well. I have 24/7 availability unless I am booked. I’m available to care for your pet for as much as you need given the scope of each service. While highly unlikely, the longest I would allow a pet to be alone is 4 hours when pet sitting.

About: I love animals! I have been around them forever, and in school studying to become a Veterinary Technician :) I am always open for play dates! I work Monday-Friday at Sammie’s Friends, but am available after 5pm for short dog/cat sitting. I am available weekends so any trips you want to take I’ve got you and your furry companion covered. I am very attentive and will make sure your pet is cared for and safe. Whether they are high energy and need more play time, or animals who just need some extra TLC.

“Sasha dropped in on my dog Willow a few times this week and I could not have asked for a better person to take care of her. Willow is very nervous around strangers, generally very distrustful and defensive, but she seemed to connect with Sasha from the start at the meet and greet. Sasha was so sweet and understanding with her, never pushing Willow to interact more than she wanted to. When she dropped in, Sasha took Willow outside and played with her (sent me the most adorable video!!), refilled her water, gave her some treats, and cuddled with her on the couch. Before she left on the last day she even cleaned up some of Willow's toys, which I am always terrible about doing. It was such a sweet gesture when I myself was already nervous about someone coming over, it put me right at ease. ? Sasha was very communicative and went above and beyond dropping in on Willow and I couldn't be more grateful. I will definitely contact her again for future drop ins when I need them!”

“Took very good care of my 3 kitties. 1 of them is quite shy and he warmed up to her. 1 of them needs an inhaler daily, she did well with that. The boys all loved her. Communicates well, is friendly and trustworthy. I highly recommend.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, and even more exotic pets in both urban homes and rural off-grid environments. Whether it’s walks, belly rubs, or administering medicine, I treat every animal as a unique being with their own personality and needs. Friends and community members often turn to me for pet care because they know I genuinely love and respect animals as soulful companions. As an entrepreneur with a flexible schedule, I’m available for daytime visits, overnight stays, and extended care. I work remotely and manage my own hours, so I can easily tailor my availability to your pet’s routine—including last-minute needs or irregular schedules. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I offer a calm, loving, and secure environment where your animals can feel safe and at ease. I take time to learn your pet’s specific needs, preferences, and routines to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in your absence. I’m attentive to behavioral cues and quick to adapt to ensure trust is never broken. Whether we’re enjoying outdoor play or snuggling indoors, I create a grounded and peaceful space for them to thrive.

“I thought I spoiled my fur babies rotten but Mel out did me. She kept me informed how the kids were doing. I got daily updates including pictures and short videos. This was such a relief as I have had issues with pet sitters in the past. When we returned from our trip, the kids were relaxed and happy. I do believe they were looking for Mel. She is truly the cat whisperer.”

“It was our first time using Rover. We are very happy with Anna’s services over the weekend. We enjoyed the rover cards with pictures - it was good seeing how well our kitty was doing with Anna’s visits. I’ll definitely rebook Anna whenever we go out of town. Thanks so much for giving our kitty lots of love!”

About: I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. I pride myself on being punctual, organized and reliable, and you can rest assured that your pet(s) and home will receive attentive and loving care. I am happy to take care of any additional tasks that you might need around your home while you're away (checking mail, taking out trash, watering plants/garden, etc. )

“Incredible dog sitter, We could not have been more happy! Nate was interested in all of our pets, You could tell he cared about them. We trust Nate to be at our home, he was timely and followed through on everything we asked him to do. Nate went above and beyond, he watched our animals in a storm and the house got cold so Nate brought his own space heater to warm the house. Nate even offered to do more than expected. Nate’s communication is excellent, telling us daily about each pet and We will definitely use Nate again!”

About: Starting at the age of 12, I began volunteering at local animal shelters (Truckee Humane Society) as well as dog sitting for local Tahoe families. I am a huge advocate for taking time out of the day to get your pet exercise whether that be a leashed walk on a paved trail or an 8 mile hike into the wilderness. I work full time however, I am able to bring well trained social dogs to work. If you prefer for me to not take your dog to work, I live 10 minutes from my home so it is very convenient for me to let your dog out multiple times throughout the day! I love to take pictures of the adventures I bring pets on and keep the owner/owners updated. My friends would definitely describe me as a HUGE animal lover! I have references upon request.

About: I've spent the last 4 years volunteering with Ruff Pack Refuge. RPR specializes with rescuing special needs and elderly dogs. My responsibilities included cleaning kennels, administration of medications, dog walking, fostering dogs, e.t.c. Over the past couple of years I have enjoyed pet sitting for friends and family. I am available all the time I have a very flexible schedule and I am sure we can figure something out via text or call... I have a fenced yard, nice neighborhood to walk around, and a large comfy and soft couch for anyone to lounge around and relax if needed

“Natalie is a natural dog lover. She indiscriminately cares for all pooches, regardless of their size or breed. She is firm with them when needed, but spoils them with tons of love and treats, almost as if you're at your grandparent's house as a child. Natalie has a large house with plenty of land to let the dogs run around on. She is great about taking dogs to the lake or on a hike. From first meeting Natalie, you can tell she is a natural dog person with tons of love to give.”
