About: I have kept pets in my home for my entire life, mostly reptiles and smaller animals. I currently have two cats, one of whom is medically complicated, so I’m very comfortable accommodating special needs or disabled animals! I’m physically strong and have never had issues caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, and have nearly a decade of experience with exotics, anything from tiny spiders to larger pythons! I’m a national team athlete and student, so my calendar occasionally has blocks to prepare for competitions. My current training schedule is as follows - Monday/Wednesday: 5:30-9pm - Tuesday/Thursday: 7pm-9pm - Saturday: 12pm-3pm School is out for the summer, so my mornings are much more flexible! Before I moved to Austin, I had a job in a cat cafe and worked very closely with their rescue partner. I’m always on the lookout for potential health issues and will note them in the rover cards. I get how nerve racking leaving your pet with a stranger can be and do my best to alleviate that!

Shelby D.
“We have two dogs. One is a German Shepard and the other is a very sweet, but very needy mutt. Shelby has been taking care of our dogs for 3 years. She sends pictures and even a slow motion video of our big dog catching a ball (you can hear Shelby laughing in the background). So cool! She genuinely loves dogs and is completely comfortable with them. What makes Shelby special is she’s down-to-earth and honest. No pretenses. She follows our pet rules and worked with us on behavior modifications for our mutt. We trust her so much that when we left for a 10 day trip to Alaska this summer, we had Shelby house and pet sit. The dogs are happy, the house is clean and we can enjoy vacation with peace of mind.”
