I have over 25 years of personal experience and 5 years of professional experience taking care of pets of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I can administer medications orally, topically, give injections, and IV fluids with confidence. I'll take care of your pet as as if they were one of my own! For drop-in visits in your home, I am flexible throughout the week and have availability on weekdays and weekends. I am happy to come by anytime between 7 am and 10 pm. For doggy day care or boarding in my home, my office is 5 mins away from home. My partner works from home during the week and is glad to tag in to help with pet care as needed. I have my own vehicle and can easily travel to care for your pet in the Harrisonburg or Rockingham County area. I am happy to care for your pet in your home according to any instructions or requests that you share. I am also happy to water plants or bring in mail if you wish. After a successful meet and greet, I would be happy to host your pet in my home. There's a fully fenced yard and ample grass to romp in and take care of business. I live in a quiet neighborhood and am game to take your dog on a walk with mine. Pets are welcome on the furniture and there's even space to snuggle up in the bed if they're used to bunking up together at night. Our 7 year old female Yorkie is very dog-friendly and enjoys having company. She's a good playmate if your dog is up for a little tug on a toy or chase in the yard. She's also good at reading signs from dogs when they're done playing or want to be left alone. We would love to welcome you to our home for a meet and greet prior to booking to make sure everyone gets along.

We have a very predictable home routine and value a peaceful calm home where pets can enjoy themselves. When in our home, your pet will have his or her own space. We have a lead so that your pet can enjoy outdoor time. We have a quiet open back yard with plenty of space. We are always around, so the pet will always be accounted for. When caring for your pet in your home, I will be sure to respect your entry/exit requests, and make sure your pet is comfortable and safe.

About: I have owned multiple dogs in my adulthood. I currently own a 2 year old golden who I have personally trained. I have worked at a dog day care for 5 months where I learned more about dog body language and how to diffuse any fights. I have walked and babysat dogs for friends. I consider all dogs to be my friends, because there is no such things as a bad dog. I work 12 hour night shifts Friday-Sunday. I am completely available Monday-Thursday, but can do some walks on weekends. Because my weeks are so open then I can spend more time taking care of pups. I have a friendly golden retriever who is only 2 (almost 3). She loves to play! She does great with other dogs (she used to have a brother) but also knows how to cuddle and chill. We have a big dog park that is hardly ever used where I could take her and yours.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets since I was a child so I have years experience dealing with a variety of different animals including cats dogs and reptiles. I would love to help keep your up companion’s routine whenever you cannot. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to help you take care of your fur babies! I am available most weekends. I do not have a fenced in yard, but walks are frequent. My dog has a very mild temperament and would love to help tire out your pup if they like making new friends.

I studied for two years at a shop with a dog nutritionist, have apprenticed with a dog trainer for the past year, and just completed a six month program with Highland Canine Dog Training in North Carolina. My love for dogs really started upon volunteering to walk dogs at my local animal shelter and continued to helping with my reactive family pup become her best confident self. About: I’ve been taking care of cats since I was 6 and after that eventually started taking care of dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs. I’ve also volunteered in multiple animal shelters and able to understand the need of any regular or special-need pet. I have worked a couple of years as a cat trainer as well. Currently I have three cats and two guinea pigs! One of my cat is a special need, incontinent cat, so I understand how to take care of a special fur-baby. I will take great care of your fur babies and make sure that they have a good time while you are away! I’m working from home and my husband works from home. We are available to take care of your fur babies on both weekends and weekdays! I am available to play with your dogs and cats after 5pm from Monday- Wednesday and all days on the other days. I have three very sweet and well behaved cats, they are indoor-outdoor and very friendly with neighbors cats and dogs. They will make your pet feel welcome and comfortable in my house. About: Owner of a 501c3 animal rescue, I’ve worked with all types of critters. I’ve taken classes in wildlife rehabilitation, worked in dog training centers, and been employed in the county of LA handling overflow cases from Animal Control. I recently left my career behind to purchase a farm and dedicate myself full time to animals. Picking up a bit of work during the transition/ relocation to the farm. I own cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, fish, and a rabbit. I have a well practiced routine with my critters, leaving me open to help others with their babies. I have a few hours during the week I am unavailable due to helping out at a dog training facility (9 hrs/ wk). I am able to administer medications, spend time with more difficult or sensitive pets (plenty of patience for animals), and even implement any training techniques you’ve been working on with your babies. I’m definitely a believer in “no bad animals”. I also have an acre yard completely fenced in.
