About: Hi! For many years, I was a Fear Free Certified veterinary assistant in Charlottesville, VA. I also have experience as a dog kennel manager, farm assistant & animal rescue volunteer/advocate. During my 10 years of petsitting work, i’ve learned how to make your pets as stress free as possible while your away. Petsitting is my full time job! It is easy for both myself & my clients to have such flexibility. I schedule my days off based off of my client’s bookings. I have studied animal medicine & behavior for. About: I have grown up in a pet friendly household and taken care of my neighbors pets frequently. I love being around both cats and dogs! I am on summer break so I have a lot of free time! I have an internship that is very flexible and once a week (ending soon though) but other than that I currently do not have any other things that interfere with my schedule. About: While my last 10 years of employment have been in the schools and therapy centers, I have been caring for animals since I was about 10 years old. I grew up volunteering at dog training facilities and learning “tricks of the trade”. As a former cat owner and current dog owner, I am a firm believer that pets are a vital family member and deserve all the love and care that humans do (sometimes more). I have currently taken time off from being a full time school administrator to focus on my family. While my children are in school and activities, I am looking to spend time with animals and help others keep their pets well-taken care of while they may be away or working. I treat each pet as if they were my own, and perhaps even better than because I know the peace of mind it brings knowing they are cared for and loved. It is important to me that their emotional and physical needs are met, however best suits them and their owners.

My family has 3 dogs, and for 3 years we fostered special needs dogs from the animal shelter: litters of puppies, sick dogs, pregnant dogs, and dogs with special medical needs.
