About: Ever since I could remember I’ve grown up with large dogs. Since I was little we have had litters of huskies in our home. Fast forward and I currently have a Pittbull, Husky/Shepard Mix, 4 cats, and two Crested Geeckos. I am experienced with all life stages from the elderly to the potty training stage. I am comfortable administering any medication as well as taking long walks or playing to wear down the youngest. I work from home as a supervisor so I have the ability to come and go as I please. My son is engaged in some activities which may be the only reason for a turn down of service but my availability is pretty open. All of my animals in my home are well versed with this of the other kind. All of my animals are very dog/people friendly. We also have 4 cats so The dogs are well rounded and the cats are as well. If need be I do have the ability to separate any of them.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Through trial and error I learned what it’s means to have a friend and be a friend to our furry companions. During my navy career I’ve often been called upon to help my friends by looking over their pets and given there were long training or deployments I’d have to take them in temporarily as one of my own. I realized that they helped me as much as I helped them. I trained my baby since abandoned at four weeks old and from the beginning accident puddle of the floor I was able to established a firm and consistent behavior to communicate with the needs of animals. I obsess and research about animals so I can find a better way of conflicting matters such as behavior and diet. Trust is hard to earn. For repeating clients I can maintain a log of all activity from fun time to health monitoring. I can make a copy if needed for your own personal records. I currently am not working and I’m in Maryland and given the state of the world I have more time dedicated to protecting and helping our fur babies. I care for my clients based on their specific needs and attention first. Whatever is left I am the type to nurture and protect as if they were one of my own. Is your pet afraid of thunder? Don’t worry, I will cuddle up with them to ensure them there is nothing to be afraid of. I know of essential oils and scents to help with anxiety and repel from making an accident. Did it fail? I have a remedy to ensure accidents are cleaned with no damage or odor. I enjoy animal photography so if your own anxiety is high. I will send constant photo and video updates to give goi peace of mind. Or something cute to post on your social media. We’ll have adventures and exercise to ensure they do not become restless.
“Jamie was able to come and meet my cat and learn his routine on short notice, was friendly, and my cat liked her. I was very comfortable with her and have scheduled her for drop in visits 4 days a week.”

“Erin takes great care of our cats and our home! She takes lots of photos and we love how detailed she is. We look forward on our trips to seeing her Rover cards and know the cats are well cared for!”

I can walk or care for your dogs any day of the week! I am home every day, and I can easily come to your home to care for your pups! I would love to walk or care for your dog in your home.
“Joselle was a great pet sitter. She not only cared for our large senior dog, she also took care of our daughter’s 9 week old puppy. She kept in touch with us & was very attentive. Will definitely book her again”

About: Dogs and cats have always been a big part of my life, offering comfort through tough times. I genuinely love being around animals and caring for them. (I allow animals on my bed I’m not sure how to change that ) I have classes, but your fur baby will always be my top priority. I’m home every evening to care for them, except Fridays when I’m working on the ambulance. Walking, feeding, watering, bathing and getting all their zoomies out. I enjoy walking and physical activity meaning they will be tired out by the end of the night.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life growing up. Anywhere from small, medium, to large dogs. I’ve had mini dachshunds, Dalmatians, St. Bernards, and German Shepherds. Currently right now I have a 3 Golden Retrievers named Willie, Waylon, and Hank. I also have a cat named Cash! I current work full time Monday-Thursday. I can be available later evenings if needed, we would just have to work things out in advance. I am generally free Friday-Sunday for any needs as well but also with notice. We have a 2 acre yard that my pups are free to roam via a underground fence. But we also have a lead for my moms dogs when she brings them over to play. We have a big house with a good sized living room and kitchen where all of my pups play as well when we have to be inside.
About: I’ve had a handicapped dog my entire life growing up! I currently have a 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix and a 9 month old puppy who both mean the world to me! I love all dogs and have plenty experience with all breeds! I will provide safe and quality care to your fur babies as if they were my own! I am currently in Nursing School and graduate in December, I have a very versatile schedule as I have class only a few days a week and am able to be there to help after or before class! About: I grew up in East Texas with 3 Bengal tigers in my front yard and a minuture potbelly pig named Bubba in our home. I currently have a Exotic Micro Bully named Gucci who loves all other animals. Your pet will be loved and safe with us. My life is Gucci and we would love to have your animal and promise to keep them safe. They will be walked and entertained. If your pet doesn't like other pets then we might not be the best fit. Gucci can handle just about anything but he is so socialized that I don't think he would defend himself even if he needed too. Please only other animals that are completely okay with other pets. We go to the Westmoreland County Dog Obodeience School once a week and will pass on all knowledge we learn to those that will let us teach them. Your pet will be loved and safe with us. My life is non stop pet care. You will have no worries of your pet being left unattended. Gucci is never left alone and neither will your pet. Lots of walks and love! If you would like your pet crated for whatever reason please provide it. We are a crate free home. I live in an apartment but it's a big one and we take lots of walks.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
