We offer the most unique experience for your pets, allowing them to have their own getaway when you have things come up in life. Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. It is our goal for our furry guests to have a safe and stimulating environment at all times during their stay!

About: Hi my name is Elizabeth but everyone calls me Lily and I’m 26! I currently do rover as a part time job! I treat every pet like it’s my own and my pup is easy to get along with! Her names Stella and she’s a husky border collie mix. We love going on hikes and love having plenty of play time! My full time job involves taking care of animals so animals are my passion. I love going on a walk with my dog at the park and would love to have your pup(s) join us! When a pet stays in my home I treat it as my own. About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. My mother was a dog sitter when I was younger so that has made me comfortable around most if not all breeds. I would help her with the feeding while she took them out. Now that I’m older I have two huskies and a cat. My goal is to eventually have farm animals, mainly as pets 😂. So, my love for animals is quite enormous. I do currently work from home M-F. I can give potty breaks every 2-3 hours while working. Since I work from home your pet would have to be well mannered while I’m on the phone. They of course will be welcomed to lay around me while working and will be loved on the entire time 😊. I have a huge yard, 2 acres worth. About 1/2 an acre is fenced in for the dogs. I have 2 spunky huskies well one tends to be more lazy than anything and I have a cat that loves our dogs.

About: I have dogs all my life. Ranging from newborns to elderly. I have had different animals my whole life. From dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards and turtles. I care for friends and families animals on a regular basis. I am a stay at home mom so I am available to spend time with your babies. I am available daily for walking and drop in visits. In your home I will treat your pets like my own babies. I can give love and affection as you would. I will feed, water, give medicine and walk them.

About: Just finished medical school at Duke and looking to earn some extra money and hang out with some pups before I move to start my career as an emergency medicine doctor. Dogs are my absolute passion and I have raised and trained both of my dogs from 6-weeks old by myself. Safety is always my main priority! Additionally, I am active and familiar with all the local parks, Eno River trails, and dog-walking spots. I have no other responsibilities currently so can dedicate 100% of my time and energy to your dog's care and wellbeing. My goal with pet sitting is to allow your dog to keep their usual routine and keep them comfortable while you are away! I am ready to dedicate my time and energy to your pup's personal schedule! I understand that dog's are routine-loving animals and am happy to adjust my routine to fit what they know. As I just graduated medical school, I currently have no other commitments and can be with your dogs full-time if that's what they need. I also have the availability to do walks or pop-in visits at any time of day with no restrictions. With two dogs of my own, it is not feasible for me to care for dogs in my own home. However, because my husband works from home, I am free to travel to care for other dogs. I have house sitting experience and know how to be a respectful caretaker of both pets and home.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs for about 5 years. I currently have a 4 year old Aussie border collie mix who has reactivity issues and is very timid so i have taken training classes on how to work with a dog in situations like that. i also grew up in a house with multiple different sizes and breeds of dogs. I work part time at a restaurant in town and have a dog of my own but i do understand what it’s like to need some time away and make sure your pup is in trusted hands. I live on alittle over an acre with a cattle dog who is very high energy. we go on 3 4 mile walks a week and he is able to come and go from the house whenever he pleases. He is crate trained and he is on a strict feeding schedule. I get him groomed once a month and regular vet visits for up to date shots.

About: My name is Elena. I’ve been Petsitting since I was 15 years old. I’m currently in school to become a register vet tech at alamance community college . I work at a vet hospital as a professional pet groomer. I am very passionate about animals. I have experience in senior dogs, administering medications, and potty training puppies. I am currently in school in the morning till around 2 pm I would be able to walk your pet in the morning g before school and right after school. I treat them as if they are my own, make sure they have enough water, proper exercise and food, and toys to keep their mind stimulated

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life ranging from 5lbs to 50+lbs. Dogs have always been a significant part of my life, and I love caring for dogs for friends and family. I’m available weekends for boarding. I am also available most weekdays after work. I will only take your dogs if I’m 100% sure I will be available and with them for their specific needs. I have a loving dog to play with your dog, or I can keep them separated if you like. I let your dog roam my house always, unless you prefer them to be crated with a crate provided. They are also welcome to sleep wherever they want whether that be with me in bed or on the floor/couch - whatever makes them comfortable.
