About: I have had pets my whole life. Also, I prefer dogs but I have a couple years of experience helping out with my sister’s cats. I currently work remotely. So, I can be wherever you need me on any given day or time. I don’t normally work on weekends. I live with my girlfriend and her Boston Terrier ‘Haley’. She has a fenced in backyard to run around in and gets to chase around the ball a lot.

I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. About: I've had dogs my entire life. My last pup, Pooka, died a few years ago after living around the world with me for 16 happy years. So I'm an empty nester looking to love on your pets until I'm ready to get one of my own again. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and even some special needs. I work from home in a sizable house on a flat topped mountain. I already take 1-2 walks during my workday to stretch my legs. Other than that, I'm a huge homebody. I’m currently living up on a mesa in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of room to run and chill. The space is not fenced so I can keep pups on leash, if needed.

I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own.
