About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and am very accustomed to taking care of them, providing exercise, feeding, cuddling, etc… My childhood dogs were very sweet and I spent many hours walking them around the neighborhood and playing inside with toys while being responsible for their feeding/cleaning. I have a lot of experience with leashed walks, dog parks, electric fences/collars, inside pee pee pads and more. I also have experience working with elder dogs as well as anxious/reactive dogs. I’ve had many multi day to multi week long dog sitting experiences. Dog sitting has taken me all over the US, including Vermont, Maine, NYC and Santa Cruz, California! I work remote for an educational travel organization based out of Vermont! Because of this I have lots of free time to travel and move around. About: I have taken care of my two black labs (one puppy & one senior) as well as the pets of neighbors, family, and friends. I am looking for some extra work during my seasonal breaks. For work, I am a ski lift operator in the winter and a climbing course attendant in the summer @ Bromley Mountain. I work seasonal jobs in the summer and winter months. Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
