I am a Dogs best friend!
I have lived with several dogs a hound mins now who is 5 and had a chocolate lab for 14 years, a small chihuahua Dockson mix, a blue nose pitbull for a year when her father was deployed (a marine officer) .... we ran allot! and golden retrievers. Absolutely love dogs and walking/running & playing with them till they are satisfied and if they are lazy I’ll hangout and relax also! Not afraid to clean up after pups! Beggars, players, and cuddle bugs all welcome. I won’t feed your pet any dangerous food and will follow you directions to keep everything consistent easy and simple for you! I love all animals so if you have others it’s okay with me! I also have a yard and a truck if transportation is needed. Your animals are in good hands!

Couldn’t be happier with our experience with DJ! We had some daycare plans for our dog fall through and DJ was able to watch our dog on a moments notice, while we were skiing nearby. We received so many pictures and updates on walks, potty breaks, etc. DJ was super flexible with drop off/pick up times and overall, made our experience a breeze. He was so sweet with our pup, and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for daycare or boarding options near Stratton.
Communication was easy as always, and it’s clear DJ genuinely loves dogs. My dog was comfortable, happy, and very well taken care of. It’s such a relief to have a sitter you can trust and confidently rebook. Highly recommend DJ!

Donald was amazing with our 5 month old Golden Retriever, Joey while we were visiting and went skiing for the day! Wonderful to work with, friendly and kind. She clearly loved him.

Schedule
Pet care is my priority in my daily routine, waking up for morning walks before it’s too hot and doing food routines. Providing supplements or medication as needed as well.

Safety, trust & environment
I will drive to parks and dog parks or walk to dog parks & parks if reasonable. Belly rubs, butt scratches, ear rubs are all standard! Really flexible in terms of your pets routine so let me know what’s needed and I can accommodate.
Pets
A typical day
Usually keep to rural side streets, avoid main roads etc. if there is a dog park and your dog is okay to go we will play there, or a park in general. I will have tug toys and tennis balls ready to go for a good classic play time.
